Chapter 68: Unlucky Reunion

Tazer was already at the abandoned warehouse and is currently facing some thug members of Darkness, He rushed in towards the group and pierced one of the thugs's chest using his electric claws and threw the body at the thugs guarding the door.

"Tchh small fry huh, they're underestimating me!!."

He deals with the remaining thugs outside by sidestepping and dodging one of their strikes, he then grabs the thugs arm and throws him inside the building while one last thug managed to graze his arm.

"Tchhh a brave one aye."

Furious from being grazed by a mere pocket knife he transferred the right electric arm into his left forming one huge claw, the thug fell on the ground from simply seeing the huge black electric claw forming out of his left arm.

"I congratulate you on grazing me and your reward is death!!."

"Nooooo ---!!!."

In mere seconds the last thug went into pieces, he returned his right arm again and lets out a sigh and says,

"This is no fun..."

[She's insi---]

"What?."

[Nothing... just go inside and check for her in every room]

"Alright."

As Tazer went inside the warehouse to look for Annie a gust of wind carrying pink flowers appeared and Merlin popped up as he says,

"Why are you two here."

Arthur was sneaking around slowly opening any door he'd come cross to, but in each room he'd opened Dorothy wasn't there, he heard a door opening from the west side and decided to enter an empty room to hide.

"Any news from Hanz?."

"No.. he's been quiet for some time now so Mila I'll need you to go check up on him and contact me if anything happens."

"Sir. this is Alpha red there's an intruder who just entered the front gate.. we need bac *static* I repeat we need bac--- Ahhh wait noo!!."

"Hmmm seems troublesome, want me to check over there too?."

"No, Zoey's pretty close to the entrance I'm sure she'll deal with it just go check on the boy and report back."

With the two people who just passed by gone, Arthur lets out a sigh and sits on the floor as he thinks where could Dorothy be and who the intruder is, is it a foe? or a friend, he thought.

He slowly opened the door and checked both sides to see if he can go back outside to look for her, the hallways were clear and he continued his search, he checked every room until he found his sword in an empty room with Dorothy's staff.

Mila arrived at Arthur's cell only to see Hanz on the floor out cold while the prisoner was gone.

"Hello Ryy we have a problem."

"Don't tell me.."

"The boy's gone."

"Tchh what about Hanz?."

"Out cold.. should I wake him up? *slap* *slap* *slap*."

"Did you just? ... umm never mind you two go and find the boy, please stay safe Mi."

Tazer was simply walking confidently in the hallways as the thugs around him were all electrocuted or sliced in half, he wanted a challenge but never seems to get it, so he simply closes his eyes as the thugs around him get electrocuted and continues walking.

Multiple bullets were shot as the bullets were all blocked by Tazer's claws he lets out a maniacal smile and says,

"Finally... Hehehehe I got you out here."

A girl pointing her index finger at him while having the face of a killer really hyped up Tazer as he immediately rushes towards her whatsoever, she reacted and went away from him while shooting mana bullets at him.

"Oy oy! what are you doing! we aren't playing tag!."

with each mana bullet caught, sliced in half and even consumed by his black electric claws Zoey was getting nervous, Can I beat him!?, she thought as she was running away from him while continuing her barrage of bullets.

Tazer was giving off a deranged killer vibe that if caught he'd kill her right on the spot,

"This is Zoey I nee--!!."

a stream of electricity broke her ear piece, while Tazer was pretty much enjoying the chase and fired multiple streams of electricity to counter her mana bullets, the two clashed without a flinch the two kept it going, Zoey with her mana bullets and Tazer's electricity.

It'd only be a matter of time until one of them runs out of mana and the most likely one to go down first would be...

"I never heard of anyone possessing lightning abilities!."

[Hang on! black electricity? he couldn't be!?]

"I'm getting tired of this."

Tazer stopped chasing and simply stared at her as if she were wasting his time, his cold dead eyes stared at hers and she knew what it meant.

She was mad and shot a big mana bullet towards him and fully depleted her mana with that shot,

"Tchh you don't get it."

He simply stared at the huge burst of mana heading towards him as if he didn't care what was approaching him, he opened both claws ready to catch it and he did the mana exploded but Tazer wasn't scratched,

"Learn how to control your mana twerp!."

as Tazer proceeds to go on a different hallway Zoey faints from running out of mana, meanwhile Arthur was holding his sword on his left arm while holding Dorothy's staff on his right arm.

He was running while searching for her in every room he'd pass by and no sign of Dorothy or anyone else after hiding from those two earlier it was like the whole area was already abandoned.

One person was blocking his way and a familiar one, the same person guarding from earlier facing his shield against Arthur, he tried going back but sees the female swordsman behind him.

"I'm surrounded huh."

"We won't show mercy!."

"Oh yeah? neither will I!."

Arthur rushed towards the Shielder in front of him but instead of attacking him he run across the side of the walls and went pass by him while doing a peace sign.

"After him Hanz!."

"Geez why am I doing the heavy work here I'm just a shielder you know!."

Arthur who was now shaking off his pursuers was running and this time he couldn't check the rooms one by one and a door opened in front of Arthur and someone came out.

"T-Tazer!?."

"You!!."

Tazer bit his lip and saw the other two behind his enemy, he aimed his claw at Arthur and said,

"Duck brat!."

A stream of electricity shot off from his hands and as Arthur ducked to the ground Hanz protected Mila by using his shield, unknown to them anything that makes contact to Hanz's shield gets bounce back at them double the power.

With his sword he absorbed the Electricity and smashed the walls, destroying the area, blocking the two from pursuing them any further.

"Now.. what are you doing her---!."

He dodged an electrical punch from Tazer and leaps from the walls and kicked him in the face, Tazer who was now on the ground asked,

"Why are you here you piece of shit brat!."

"I just asked you the same thing!!."

[Now Now, I understand you two to be at each other's throats but now's not the time]

"That voice?."

Arthur too heard the voice and thought he heard that from somewhere, pink flowers were appearing in front of them and Merlin somewhat popped up,

"M-Merlin!?."

"Who?."

"That hurts you know, I've been watching over you two for the past few months now and was the one guiding you here and this is how i get treated."

Arthur who was still confused by the situation asked,

"Merlin what are you doing here?."

"I'm surprised you know me, Arthur Ackerman."

"Dorothy talked about you so of course I'd search you up."

"And you thought she was cheating on you that time were you hehehe."

"Shut up!."

"Oy so you're the one who told me to come here huh? are you sure Annie's here you flower loving freak."

"*Sighs* Yes and as a matter of fact she is in the same room as Dorothy is right now, so I need you two to work together just for now."

"Tchh."

"Huhh?? you're kidding me right!?."

"No as a matter of fact I'm not, you two share the same goals, wanting to save the people you love, right?."

Merlin wasn't wrong, with the two working together their chances of pulling this off and saving the people they want to save would be an easy task but for how these two do it is still a problem, considering their past encounter with each other.

"I'll lead you to them right now.. follow me."

both Arthur and Tazer were on full alert with each other as they believed one of them would make the first move and take them down here and now.

Mila and Hanz were finding another route for them to take and catch up to them as Ryan contacted them,

"Mi, Hanz full retreat now!."

"Huh??."

"Ryy?? what's wrong? are we bailing out on the mission?."

"No, I just got our reward it's time for us to go."

"What?."

"Our client has sent us new orders "get out of there and enjoy the reward your team deserves."

"Alright me and Hanz are heading there now."

"Good, I'll be getting Zoey we'll meet up at the car parked behind the warehouse by five minutes alright don't be late."

Merlin, Tazer and Arthur arrived at a huge red door as it was marked " D O N T E N T E R H E R E."

"You think this is the room?."

"Yup."

The door opens and a person was sitting in front of them and said,

"I welcome you... to your doom."
