Chapter 81: Training (Last Day)

Sir. Charles was already waiting for the others in the gym while behind him was a bunch of other students from other classes.

"Sorry I had to bring you all here for today." Sir. Charles said.

Two students went in front a young boy and a girl and said,

"It's alright Sir. we pretty much understand."

"Yeah, and when we heard Arthur and Dorothy would be entering the School Wars we just couldn't hold ourselves to have another battle with them."

"Oh? you two had faced them before?." Sir. Charles asked.

"Well it was just once and we lost."

"But we'll show them how far we've gotten since then."

He chuckled at seeing the young students all hype up meanwhile everyone just arrived, Arthur poked Dorothy's shoulder as he sees someone familiar from the students behind Sir. Charles.

"Hey Dorothy... aren't those two...?."

"Ivy and Castiel!!!."

Ivy simply waved and smiled at them while Castiel was getting all hyped up and drew his blades, planning to plunge himself towards them Ivy grabbed his shirt to stop him.

"Alright everyone, you'll be facing these students for today's practice." Sir. Charles said.

"What about the other three members from the Student Council?." Zack asked.

"Well unfortunately the entire Student Council is busy for today due to all the festivities going on in the school, even with the help of the Armed Committee it's still not enough to keep this school in check.. so that's why you'll be sparring with these guys for today."

A group from class L-3 was who their facing for today and the only students Arthur and Dorothy knows are Ivy and Castiel's.

Sir. Charles then flipped a coin in the air as everyone was watching intensely, the coin landed and it was heads.

"Alright Class L1 will be the Attackers for this round while Class L3 will try their best on defeating the attacking team while defend their base." Sir. Charles said.

Then shortly after as everyone was on their marks, Sir. Charles left the area and started the field and the match began.

"Zack and May can you place traps all over the field?." Dorothy asked.

"We sure can."

May shot Dorothy a thumbs up while her eyes were shining with ease.

"But it'll take a while though." Zack said as he scratches his head.

"That's fine enough, Arthur, Carla and Patrisha do you think the three of you can handle being the attackers?."

"I'm fine with it to be honest." Arthur replied.

Carla and Patrisha both nodded their heads in agreement and the three began their mission to attack the enemy base.

"Saya you'll be here with me in the base in case one of them tries to attack our base."

"Accept."

"Arthur don't be afraid to pull back Zack and May are right behind you placing their traps, if you all can, lead the enemy there and then land your strikes."

As everyone left to do their jobs Dorothy releases a huge sigh as she was tired and nervous commanding them,

"You're not really good at this are ya Master?."

"Rude ... urmm I am good at this.. I was just nervous and all."

"Alright then."

Zack and May have already started planting their traps on the ground while Arthur, Carla and Patrisha were already on the move to find the enemy base and take it.

"Carla just tell me if you see anything ahead."

"Will do my King."

Carla was on the trees to get a better view while Arthur and Patrisha were on the ground and on their guards just in case.

Her eyes managed to caught a glimpse of a shining object from a far and yelled,

"My King!! Patrisha!! to the left!!."

They both dodged the incoming arrow and crawled on the floor for cover meanwhile Carla who was hidden by the leaves on top took the opportunity to fire at the source.

The bullet never hit it's target as something metallic blocked it, the sounds of whistling arrows were echoing around them,

"Are you alright Patrisha?." Arthur asked.

"Yeah.. I'm fine." She replied.

They were still on the floor crawling and waiting for Carla to tell them it's safe, meanwhile Carla from above was still having a hard time guessing where the enemy could be.

[One wrong shot and they'll know where I am] she thought to herself.

She was waiting for the enemy to fire another shot at Arthur and Patrisha to find their whereabouts, but nothing happened, no shots have been fired since then.

[Did they ran away?.. Or are they simply waiting for us to loose our guard and take their shot]

It was silent, the whistling arrows were gone.

"My King get down!!."

"Carla? is it ove---!!."

Just as when Arthur was about to get up and arrow was heading towards him, Patrisha managed to pull Arthur back down while Carla found out where they were and said,

"There you are!."

She aimed both pistols at the enemy's whereabouts and fired two rounds, although none hit their marks as they were yet again blocked by a metallic object.

Arthur and Patrisha were still on the floor waiting for Carla to say it's alright, the silence was tempting them to get up but Carla was still hesitant to say so.

Shortly after two chains were heading towards Carla's position.

"Tchh."

She leaped from her tree dodging the chain's strike, but once she made it to the ground she realized,

[It was a trap!!.]

Two arrows were heading for her at the speed of light, she smirked and said to herself,

"You're all pretty good, I'll give you that.."

She then blasted the arrow with her pistol while Arthur took care of the other one.

"But we're better... Patrisha!!!." She yelled.

Leaping from tree to tree, It was Patrisha heading towards the enemies location, with her blades fully locked on.

"We're going to win this!." She uttered to herself.

Once Patrisha arrived at the area, her eyes widened from the shock of what she's seeing,

Two metal humanoid figures, looks like it's been made up of chains from top to bottom, with one of them with a crossbow in their hands.

She snapped out of it and plunged herself towards the humanoid chains, they responded and launched their chain like arms at her, she twisted her body mid air and dodged their strike.

And she then landed her own to one of the metallic figures as it fell on the ground she took a look at it and noticed the one she destroyed was for protecting the other one, she continued her attack.

The humanoid figure launched multiple chain like projectiles at her, she dodged them one by one until she made it close to the figure and slashed it all up, destroying it and was now on the floor.

"Come on over Arthur and Carla, you guys need to see this." Patrisha yelled.

Once Arthur and Patrisha arrived at the scene, He had one clue to who could be controlling them.

"It was Ivy Hannes who did this."

"Oh right! she was a Manipulator class if I remember correctly." Carla said.

"Ivy Hannes? soo that girl who was waving at you and Dorothy when we arrived at the gym?."

"Yeah, that was her, and she manipulates chains like they're nothing.. looks like she found a new skill.. pretty good for her." He said.

"Uhh My king with all due respect, it's gonna be even more harder to try and take the enemy base like this." Carla said.

"Well in the actual game we will be facing enemies from other schools, and we won't know anything about them.. so that itself is a challenge enough."

"He's right, all we simply need is trust in our teammates." Patrisha said.

"Alright then forgive me for my comment my king."

"No need to do that Carla, I respect your opinion, but you're also right about this being harder than usual."

As they continued heading towards the enemy base they didn't know that Zack and May were already dealing with something back there.

Zack backed away from an enemy, while grabbing hold of his left shoulder,

"Hey!! you're going to pay hurting my Zack you little!!."

She was steaming mad about Zack being hurt, their opponent was a little boy with blonde hair, he was holding curved blades.

[This is bad.. that kid's probably an Assassin class] Zack thought to himself.

"Well.. Well.. looks like Ivy was right, now I wonder what class you are mister hehehe."

[I only managed to plant a few of my traps around here.. I guess these will have to do]

"May.. Plan C."

Her eyes calmed down and winked at him saying,

"You got it Zack!."

"Hmm? talking to your little girlfriend mister?."

At the next step an explosion occurred throwing the blonde boy back away from him, he landed near a tree, with damages not severe but only grazed him.

"You should really watch where you're flying... May Plan F."

Near the tree another explosion occurred flying him to another corner of the area but this time once he landed, the ground itself sunk.

"A-A Pitfall!?!?."

He fell unto the deep hole Zack and May were digging when they were planting their traps,

"HAHAHAHA I look you mister, but this is not enough to bring me do---nghh!!."

A sudden ringing in both his ears, his body shaking nonstop, his hands numbing, he couldn't move an inch of his body.

"What the---!!! why are my eyes heavy all of a sudden!!."

Peeking from on top of the hole was Zack and May, the blonde boy from below was starting to loose conscience.

"What you're feeling is the experiment me and May have made by simply mixing a sleeping and paralyzing potion.. looks like it works well." Zack explained.

"Yeah, Because I helped made it of course." May gloat.

"It's... up to you....now... Francis.."

As the boy fell unconscious on the hole, May noticed on her radar and was on alert, she yelled,

"Zack behind you!!."

Behind them was a giant muscular boy, he was as huge as a boulder, they managed to hope to the other side of the hole and kept some distance between them.

"That was close.. Thanks May."

"Just keep your head straight!."

Their new opponent was swaying both arms of his like they were even more heavier than his body,

"May... plan E."

As an explosion occurred on where the giant was standing on, Zack lets out a sigh of relief but May was still on her guard.

"I-Impossible!."

He was still standing, and all he received from that blast was just a scorched mark, he scratches his head and says,

"Itchy..."

And plunges himself towards them, creating a crater that's almost as deep as the hole he and May made.

"You serious!? May the bombs we planted fell unto the crater we'll use that advantage to take it down there!."

"You got it!."

Multiple bombs exploded near the giant, in his face, legs and even head.. Zack backed away just in case and placed some distance between them.

As the smoke cleared the giant itself was still alive and kicking but something was different..

"Zack.. I'm picking up something from my sensors.. that thing isn't human.. it's made up of chains!."

"Then how come it can speak clearly like a human would?."

"I'm picking a life source inside the giant, someone's controlling it from the inside!!."

Zack then had an idea as he rushes towards the giant while grabbing something in his pocket.

"May detonate the bombs when I say so.."

"Huh?? oohh okay!."

He gets closer and closer and enters the crater, the giant reacts and throws a punch at him, Zack then throws three bombs at the giant's fists.

"Now!!."

The blast countered the giant's fists while creating cover for them to move around, as the smoke engulfed them, the giant itself had no way in seeing Zack and May moving around.

They took advantage of the surroundings and the circular crater and ran in circles while throwing bombs at crucial parts of the giant.

"Just a little more May!."

"We only have five left, make them count Zack!."

"You don't have to tell me May!."

He threw one each at the giant's legs causing it to fall on his knees, next they threw one at his eyes, blinding it while the giant was swaying it's heavy arms around to hopefully hit them Zack dodged the swaying arms and placed the bombs inside the giant's mouth.

"Kabooommm!!!!." May yelled out.

"NOO NOOO WAIT MAY! I'M STILL IN THE CRATE---!!!."

A huge explosion occurred throwing Zack, and the boy controlling the giant, Zack barely made it out with a few scratches and bruises while the same goes for the boy controlling the robot but he was already unconscious from the impact.

He opens his eyes while touching his body happily,

"I'm alive? I'm alive!!!!!."

"Of course you idiot, we never made our bombs lethal remember, the impact was still there but it couldn't kill anyone even if it wanted to."

"Speak for yourself you don't get to experience it in person... well maybe it's for the best I don't want you getting hurt after all."

"AWWHHH you can be really sweet sometimes if you wanted to."

"Shut up."

Meanwhile Dorothy was still trying to contact them via telepathy but for some reason couldn't,

[Are they jamming our connections? or do they have something for us?] Dorothy thought.

"Master? something wrong?."

"Be on your guard Saya, the enemy might be here."

"Accept."

She pulls out her scythe and head towards the window spot to check the outside of the base while Dorothy keeps on trying to contact anyone via telepathy as she thinks,

[I hope everyone's doing fine out there]

Arthur, Patrisha and Carla managed to find the enemy base and were waiting just in front of it,

"What should we do now Arthur?." Patrisha asked.

"Well without Dorothy's instructions we need to do this on our own." He replied.

"Hmmm this is difficult.. what do you think Patrisha?." Carla asked.

Patrisha was thinking about the layout of the enemy base, she couldn't really see it but she could construct it's layers through her thoughts by simply imagining them.

"Oh? sorry I was checking the layout of the base.."

"You can do that?." Carla's eyes shone bright in awe.

"Well it's not accurate it's only what I think the layout of the base is, so there's no guaranteed it actually looks like what I have in mind."

"Hmmm we're out of options."

Arthur concluded, their plan was suppose to wait for Dorothy's instructions once they arrived at the enemy base, but because of some minor issues that plan seems to backfire on them.

As they were trying to come up with their next move, a girl with green hair wearing a red jacket came outside the enemy base.

"Did they find us already!?." Carla reacted and readying her pistols to pull the trigger.

"Hold it! it could just be a patrol." Patrisha says as she holds Carla down.

"Furthermore reason to take her out, if we do the less enemies we would face once we enter their base."

Carla's suggestion wasn't a bad one, it made sense but for Arthur it was too smooth, something was a miss here.. something was on his mind that he couldn't figure out.

[If we try to take her out.. is it a trap? or not.. since when did the enemy figure out our route of choice in coming here?]

The girl circled around and was out of sight, now they were waiting for Arthur's decision, A twig breaking in two could be heard behind them, they raised their defenses up and readied their weapons.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! It's us!."

A feminine voice came from the other side of the bushes, it was Zack and May.

"What happened to you Zack?." Patrisha asked.

"I got a little trouble back there but it's fine now.. I came as reinforcements.. if things go south we go as planned, the traps I've newly placed are all ready."

[Alright, with Zack and May with us the odds have gotten a little better.. but at this rate it's not enough]

"That girl will come back sooner or later we need to make our move now my king."

[Should we just sneak in and deal with everyone from the inside? No.. we would be trap inside.. but maybe if we could somehow get them to go outside and lead them to the traps Zack and May have placed... No we still need a perfect plan in order to pull that off...what's the right choice here]

Arthur was clearly in a bind right now.. time was of the essence, one wrong move and it's defeat for them.

He made his mind and said,

"I'm rushing in!."

A sudden voice said out the words what he was about to say, It was Zack and May on the phone attached to his hilt, she shot them a thumbs up meaning they'll take the liberty of acting as bait.

As Zack rushed towards the girl in the red jacket, she completely froze out of tension, meanwhile Arthur and the rest agreed and decided to sneak into the base.

The girl got her grip and a sudden burst of light shone from her red eyes,

"Oh uh Zack don't stare into that girl's eyes!." May flails her arms around.

"Way ahead of ya." He replied.

Zack simply stared unto the ground to avoid eye contact while charging towards her.

"Is it ready yet?." He asked.

[Why? Does he know what my power is?... Then I'll just have to use this!]

She reached for her pocket while Zack placed an electrical bomb on her stomach.

"Do it!."

a sudden bursts of electricity flowed through her body but..

"Y-You...looked."

She may had fainted from the electricity but Zack was now petrified from her power, he was now frozen like a statue.

"Geez, I told you not to look at her... hmph!."

She pouts of disappointment at Zack while crossing both her arms, meanwhile Arthur and the rest managed to have fully infiltrated the enemy base without any problems.

They were using the vents as their passageway while searching for the enemy command room, it's a little cramped but they were able to manage.

"Hey Patrisha, since we're here is the interior the same as what you had in mind?." He asked.

"Hmmm.. now that I got a look just a ninety percent's accurate." She replied.

"That's good enough.. any clue to where the Command room could be?."

"I have three spots to believe that's where it is.. but all three of them are far from each other.."

They couldn't hide there forever, with the three of them crawling their way to the vents they could be heard and spotted right away if they aren't careful.

The worst case scenario is that they'll be captured and the battle's over.

"We'll have to pick two.. that's my bet.." He said.

"Huh?."

"Two is all we need to find the command center.. I'm sure.."

They all stopped as Patrisha placed her trust in Arthur's thoughts.

"Go to the left.. and then turn straight right after." She said.

While they were all searching and crawling their way into the enemy command center, Something amiss was happening at their base.

"Master.. enemy hostiles have entered the area of our base.. shall I dispose of them?."

"No Saya, it's a trap we can sense their move from here fine, if they enter the base that's where you'll deal with them."

"Yes Master."

She lowered her scythe and was awaiting further orders while Dorothy was in deep thought,

[We won't let them control the battlefield on their terms..]

Outside the front of the base were multiple students, although separate from each other were slowly heading towards them.

She smirks at herself as she presses a button, and the next thing that happened was the whole front exploded, the students were all blown away from the impact.

"Huh?...Oh! looks like they tried to invade the base after all, good thing we planted those and gave it to Dorothy huh." May reacted.

"Yeah..."

Although he still couldn't move, he could still see the explosion from where he was, as the huge smoke rose up.

Once the smoke cleared Saya was staring outside through the window to get clarification of the enemies position.

"Master the enemy forces have been----!!!."

"What is it Saya?."

Her brows furrowed, Saya rarely gets shocked by anything so seeing her react in a way that's a rare experience for Dorothy was frightening her.

"The enemy forces were all.... made up of chains.." She uttered.

"Chains you say?."

[Ivy huh?] Dorothy thought to herself.

Meanwhile Arthur, Patrisha and Carla were heading towards the second possible place where the enemy command center could be, their first try went south once they noticed it was a bathroom.

"I hope you're right about it Arthur." Patrisha said.

"Well It was a bet I needed to take.. we don't have enough time searching in all three possible areas." He replied.

"Someone's coming!." Carla said as she shushes them down.

Below them were two students from the enemy side two boys probably patrolling the area.

"Medi is surely taking her time patrolling outside isn't she?."

"She's probably extended her search into the forest.."

"Really!?."

"I mean it's possible.."

As the two passed by them, they all let out a sigh of relief as they continued unto the last place they predict where the command center is.

A few moments later their prediction was spot on and right now they were now at the top vent of the command center and are waiting their moment to strike.

There were five people in the room, two who they just passed by earlier and the girl patrolling outside who is now dealing with Zack and May.

"I see Castiel.. but I don't see Ivy anywhere." Arthur whispered.

"That's good... the less people there are the better." Carla said.

"But we can't just stay here, we need to act fast."

"I agree with Patrisha, the more time we waste the more we'll be having more trouble later."

Arthur was still hesitant about something, as he stared into the enemy through the vent he noticed,

[Why is Castiel and Ivy hidden?]

They're lower body could obviously be seen but their upper bodies were not as they were covered by the darkness.

As he was still curious about their placement, a sudden tremor occurred, not from the ground but the entire vent was shaking.

"Arthur!!." Carla yelled.

as they were surrounded by both sides, front and back, The same two boys who were out patrolling recently have cornered them.

With no place to go Arthur decided to go down the command room.

"Get some distance!." He yelled.

Once the three broke off, Patrisha dealt with two students and knocked them unconscious, Carla took one of them hostage as the two boys stood where they were.

Arthur was heading towards Ivy and Castiel.

[They're not moving? are they protecting their mage?]

The two weren't moving, they stood there lifeless as if they had something on their sleeve but Arthur kept on going, he pulled out his sword and prepared to strike.

Movement from Ivy's hand.. his eyes widened in shock as he went on the defensive.

One raise from her hand and her fingers spread out and were heading towards Arthur.

[Metallic students? similar to Dorothy's puppetry with mud.. so does that mean Castiel's the Mage here?]

He blocked and evaded the chains that were attacking him while the two boys rushed towards Carla with all they had.

She stunned her hostage while backing away and then fired two rounds stunning the boys.

"Whoops.. my bad." She said.

Arthur's eyes noticed movement from behind the enemy, he let out a sigh of relief as he continued parring the chains.

"You're wide open!."

Patrisha was behind them, without giving them any time to react she grabbed an arrow coated with electricity at the tip and stunned them.

[They never moved from that spot? ever since we came crashing down here... could it be..]

"Patrisha!!."

She backed away and asked,

"How are you both still standing?."

"You see.. those are our protectors."

From the darkness was Castiel himself, sitting on a throne where the mana was spreading out to give formation to their base.

Carla flicked a switch from a side to light the area up and saw their opponent wide open.. but was surrounded by a bunch of metallic puppets.

[If Castiel alone is here.. then that means..]

A shocking conclusion has entered Arthur's mind, the fear and anxiety was filling his head.

"Patrisha I need you to head back to the base now!."

"But--."

"You're the fastest!." He insisted.

"No, I won't let any one of you escape." Castiel smirked.

Meanwhile back at the base..

Saya reacted defensively, her expressions were filled with anger as she sensed someone enter their base..

"Master.."

"I know.. think you can handle it Saya?."

She nods her head as she readies her scythe with her,

"Good, show them what it means to infiltrate our base."

"Accept."

As Saya arrived at the area, she believed the enemy entered, she found no one there.. no clues to where that person went after entering.

"Scanning for traces.."

Her eyes became bright red as her head rotated like how an owl could do, and scanned the area for anything after a few minutes of searching she managed to find footprints..

"Female shoes tracks.. heading unknow--."

She disengaged her search mode and looked above her and saw probably hundreds of humanoid figures made out of chains all attached to the ceiling.

"Found them.."

After being spotted the humanoid figures came raining down on her, she angled her scythe above and spun it around like a fast propeller mincing some of the humanoid figures in the process but not all of them.

She then used her scythe to grab and throw some of the humanoid beings, slamming them into one another. while the real infiltrator took her shot at escaping the area while Saya was busy dealing with her puppets.

"So far so good." She uttered as she was looking for the command room.

"I knew you'd be the one to attack Ivy." Her voice echoed through the halls.

"It's nice to fight ya again sister Dorothy."

"Stop that.. that makes me sound like a nun for some reason."

Ivy giggles from her statement, even by just merely echoes bouncing off the walls she was figuring where they all came from by simply listening to the trajectory of where they came from.

"Me and Castiel want to show you our progress so far ever since you and Arthur defeated us that day."

"Oh? I'm looking forward for that." She replied.

"Found ya!."

She arrived at the right place, it was the command room she entered but Dorothy was gone, she wasn't on her throne like all Mage class students on the team should.

"Did you really think I couldn't leave the chair?." She whispered behind Ivy's ear.

She summons a chain and uses it as a whip and backs away from her opponent.

"H-How? I thought --."

"As long as the host doesn't leave the base, they can still provide mana for it to keep shape."

Ivy didn't waste any of her time, she immediately summoned humanoid chains at her disposal and commanded them to attack Dorothy.

"Following my spells aye? let me show you how it's done."

She snapped her finger and twice more than what Ivy has made came out surfacing from the ground, half of them consumed Ivy's humanoid figures.

Dorothy snaps once again and the humanoid figures who were in Ivy's control were now all mixed together with her copies of mud.

[She overrode my control!?]

Now with the tables turned on her, Ivy casted a mist spell to make her escape, with the mist covering her she made a hole big enough for her to slip through and made it out.

"Well that'd be enough."

Dorothy then poked her staff unto the ground as the whole area lit a reddish light, everything from the surrounding area were fading as it was all an illusion she placed up.

[She even casted an illusion spell this wide!? I can clearly see how powerful she is..]

She clenched her fists hard and bit her lip and thought,

[But I'm still going to beat her! I'm going to do my best! no matter what]

Strengthening her resolve she turned around and went back to Dorothy meanwhile Castiel launched multiple daggers towards them, Arthur blocked two and head towards him, Patrisha backed away and blocked a few daggers while Carla blasted a dagger with her pistol and took cover.

While Castiel was sitting down daggers made from his mana manifested on top of him and at the flick of his finger, hurled them at Arthur.

"AAAARRRGHHHH I won't loose to you!!!." He yelled.

He blocked all the daggers heading towards him with his sword, as it was slowly giving off a black and purple aura with each impact from the daggers.

[Is that a skill of his!?] Castiel thought as his eyes were fixated on the sword.

Getting his focus back he noticed Patrisha getting closer and said,

"No you don't!."

Three daggers manifested midair and were hurled at her, she was thrown all the way back where she came from while Arthur was still continuing his pursuit.

[Crap! he's not slowing down! I can't move from my spot can I!?]

Then at the last second Ivy contacted him via telepathy and said,

[It's okay to leave the throne Castiel..]

[B-But---]

[Just trust me]

He closed his eyes and stopped creating daggers and backed away from Arthur to give him distance.

[He left the throne?] Arthur thought to himself as he stopped right on his tracks.

"Well I just received a message from my sister.. now.. let's have fun."

Castiel disappears and re appears right in front of Arthur while readying his daggers to strike,

[He's too fast!]

He managed to block Castiel's strikes at the nick of time and backed away from him, Castiel gave a look at the incoming Patrisha behind him.

She was hoping to back Arthur up but then stopped right in her tracks as Castiel hurled multiple daggers at her.

Castiel continued rushing towards Arthur, his brows furrowed as he noticed Arthur slowly ducking down.

Once he realized what was going on, Carla was already storing all of her mana into one of the pistols and readying to fire.

Meanwhile Ivy dodged of Dorothy's puppet's strikes while still outnumbered Ivy still stood her ground and tried to make her way towards Dorothy and duel with her herself.

She then summoned chains and coated it all over her fists then focused her mana into them and landed a powerful blow on one of the puppets, throwing it into the wall.

"Oh?." Dorothy said to herself.

Saya was just finished dealing with all the humanoid chains and noticed noise coming from where Dorothy was.

"Master.."

She hurried towards her Master's whereabouts while Ivy was slowly making her towards Dorothy..

[I'm slowly using all my mana just from a punch.. this isn't going to last longer]

Ivy decided and smirked at her foe, as she punched the floor creating a wave around her destroying the puppets.

Dorothy herself leaped above to dodge the aftershocks and was focusing all her mana unto her feet as if creating a solid object for her to step on.

After seeing Ivy up to now she gave her a smirk and slowly hopped her way back down.

"Now.. let's end this." Dorothy said.

Carla then fired her shot and a burst of massive mana in the form of a tiny bullet was heading towards Castiel,

"EHHH!? ARTHUR!?." He reacted.

right below the bullet Arthur was heading straight for him, Arthur was running while ducking below enough not hitting the bullet.

Castiel tried to manifest as many daggers as he could, but were all blasted away by Patrisha who had an opening.

"I'm sorry.. looks like your brother has failed."

The bullet exploded but never hit him. meanwhile Dorothy launched a massive fireball towards Ivy.

She smirked as she thought to herself,

[It's alright Castiel.. we tried our best]

Ivy then went to the sides and glued her body to the wall, missing the fireball's range by a meter.. once it was gone she then rushes towards Dorothy who was immobile from chanting that huge spell.

[Crap! I never expected she'd found a way to dodge that!] Dorothy thought to herself.

[Wait! that bullet never hit me!?]

Although it never hit a massive thick mist was surrounding him, blocking all his senses from operating.

[Wait where'd Arthur go!?]

He looked to the left and right but couldn't see anything and in front of him was Arthur and his blade which was coated with a black and purple aura.

"It's our win Castiel!!." He slammed the flat blade of his sword unto him and was knocked unconscious.

As the base of class L-3 dispersed Sir. Charles on P.A. then yelled,

"And the winners are Class L-1!!!."

Dorothy stared dead on, as Ivy's fist that was about to make contact with her face but stopped mid air from Sir. Charles's announcement, while Saya's scythe was surrounding Ivy's neck.

After the battle ended everyone was in the benches taking a rest while some were treating each other's injuries.

"Well Zack looks like we barely did anything today too." May pouted.

Zack looked concerned upon hearing May's statement and stared at the ground and thought,

[We'll do our best for tomorrow.. I'm sure of that]

"Hey Arthur, Dorothy.."

Ivy and Castiel were heading over,

"Sorry I hit you Castiel."

"No problem bro, It's an honor to fight you again but we'll beat you next time!."

"I'm sure you and your sister will."

Ivy went towards Dorothy and reached out her hand and said,

"Good luck for tomorrow Dorothy I won't forgive you, if you guys loose to some nobodies alright."

"You betcha!."

She grabbed and shook her hand.

"The same goes for you Arthur, do your best tomorrow." Castiel said.

"mhm."

He replied with a youthful smile while the Student Council members arrived at the gym.

"Awwwhhh did we miss it already?." Drake moaned in disappointment.

"Well are you, the Vice Pres and Treasurer prepared for tomorrow?." Sir. Charles asked.

"Yeah, and as we speak the contestant from the other schools have now just arrived and are now at the other dorm building as we speak, for now members of the Armed Committee are there to protect them." Alex said.

"Really? from your looks of it.. do we stand a chance?."

"It depends on everyone's efforts.. but I have hopes and think we can pull it off."
