It was morning when they were out on the field, it was quite windy so they felt refreshed.
"Come and fight me!."
His Father and her Father in law exclaimed right in front of them.
"Ehhh?." Dorothy reacted.
Meanwhile Anna was curious and asked Louise a question.
"What are they doing aunt Louise?."
She looked at the person beside her only to see her at the corner moping from something.
"I really don't like being called aunt.."
She came back to her senses and went towards Anna and gave her a reply.
"Looks like Father's helping them control their mana."
Bewildered, Anna's head tilted and her brows furrowed as she was curious about what Louise just said.
Carla arrived at Arthur and Dorothy's room, she slammed open the door and yelled out.
"I'mmm herrrreeeee!!!!!."
Only to see an empty and clean room, her fear was skyrocketing, her legs were shaking tremendously.
Meanwhile Arthur was readying his sword as he was prepared to fight his father, Dorothy however was still processing everything happening.
"Ho-How are we gonna fight him Arthur?."
"Don't worry Dorothy.. I maybe old but I still got a few tricks up my sleeve."
As her eyes widened from what she was seeing, the man using the wheelchair was standing on his two bare feet and was readying his stance, was holding his honed sword and gave them a glare that gave Dorothy shivers down her spine.
"Wha!?."
Dorothy was frozen from what she's seeing right in front of her and from the benches Anna too was opening her mouth wide open as Louise gently closed her mouth while smiling.
"If you two won't come to me! ----."
He then disappeared out of thin air, Dorothy was trying to predict his movements but for some reason the fear, the anxiety, the nervousness was getting to her.
Arthur was calm and was concentrating, he inhaled a ton of air in him and released them through his nose.
"There!!."
Arthur blocked his Father's strike which was aiming for Dorothy's back, while she was too out of this moment to react at all.
"Looks like you still haven't loose your touch Arthur.."
"What do you mean? you were the one who taught me everything I needed to know." He replied confidently.
"True.. however.. it isn't enough."
He disappeared again but this time they could see his footprints on the ground as the marks were circling around them.
[I can see them? perfect!] Dorothy thought as she waved her wand a few meters ahead.
"Gugalan---!?."
The footprints stopped right before they would reach Dorothy's range, she looked to the left and right and readied her spell just in case but nothing occurred.
"Look out! ----."
Arthur gave her a push as he blocked his Father's strike from above.
[From the air!? He's very quick!] Dorothy thought.
Arthur's feet were already rooted to the ground as his Father kept on pressing his sword unto his, pinning him on that spot.
Dorothy then leapt towards him and used her staff was a weapon to counter his sword.
The two clashed mid air as his Father then said,
"Using your staff as a counter for my sword? Impressive.. gotta hand it to my future daughter in law for thinking ahead.. but with just this won't be enough!."
He twirled his body mid air and kicked her unto the ground while he then changed his direction and headed towards Arthur.
Father and son have now locked swords, Arthur was loosing his footing while his father was simply laughing as he overpowered him.
"That's enough Father." Louise said.
Louise was in front of them while Anna was helping Dorothy up,
"Mama, are you okay?."
"More so?." She replied by giving her a smile.
"Father, when are you going to teach them."
Her tone was low, it was obvious she was mad, her rage was skyrocketing, her fists were clenching tightly.
"I just wanted to know how strong they ar--."
"You just wanted to show off didn't you Father!?." She exclaimed.
She drew her sword and rushed towards her Father without hesitation, Arthur backed away while the two dueled like there was no tomorrow.
"Arthur, what's going on?." Dorothy asked while being carried by Anna who was now exhausted.
Arthur princess carries Dorothy back to the Bench to place her there while Anna climbed unto his back.
"Well for now let's just enjoy this moments of rest.. cause I'm pretty sure the time when he'll actually train us.. there'll be no end to it until we mastered what he's trying to teach us." Arthur said.
While Dorothy was nervous from what she just heard and was panicking in her mind,
[B-But!? the match's tomorrow!? how are we going to learn something in just a day!?] She thought.
Louise feinted her swing to the right but then swung to the left, she thought it was a brilliant idea to trick her father but it was still predicted and was blocked.
She backed away from him and said,
"You're always like this Father! using your own mana to help support your legs is quite the risk, I would be fine by it if you actually taught them anything.. but you didn't."
She rushed in and swung her sword multiple times at her Father, she wasn't frustrated, her swings were as perfect and elegant as they were her Father would merely dodge or block a swing or two.
"You just flaunted your skills at them! So I'll make sure you go back to teaching them what you wanted to teach them in the first place!!." She yelled.
As her swings were getting faster by the second, it was a technique she made for herself when she was young, her swings couldn't be seen by plain sight, Their Father was having a hard time keeping up as he was standing his ground blocking every strike, and was starting to move sluggishly.
"Wait! Louise! Hang on! ---!?."
He blocked as fast as he could but he was starting to get grazes from her swings, and by each graze occurred, He was starting to look confuse from what he was doing.
"Huh? what was I?."
He felt confused at the moment but his hands were still moving to defend from her strikes.
As Louise managed to calm down and seen her Father's confused look she quickly reacted and leaped above him, while in mid air she punched her Father's head into the ground and landed on the other side.
"Oh boy.. I used my ability by instinct.." She said to herself.
While her puzzled Father was getting up from the ground, he looked at his hands and sees grazes.
"Louise Ackerman!."
A chilling sensation went into her spine as she froze right in the middle after hearing her Father's voice.
"You used your ability again didn't you?."
"Bu---!?"
Her Father then pulled her cheek as he said,
"I told you to never use your abilities Louise!!."
"Bwutttt Youu weeeerree gowing too faarr Fawtherr.."
Dorothy was confused as to what's going on between those two while Arthur places his hand on his face as he lets out a sigh.
It looked like he knew this was gonna happen, Dorothy said in her mind.
"Youu we're swuppwosee to tweach them somethwing----ouch!!!."
His Father pulled her cheek even more as he then exclaimed,
"My Memories are still fuzzy Louise, I can't do that if I don't get back my memories!."
"Wait fwor fwive minutess."
He let go of Louise's swollen cheek as he then walks towards Arthur with a serious face all of a sudden.
"Oh boy here we go again." Arthur said to himself.
"Looks like you've been eating well Arthur.. glad to know you're doing well."
Dorothy was dumbfounded from what's going on right now, Arthur's Father reacted to him like it was the first time they saw each other for many years.
"Ummm Arthur? what's going on?." Dorothy asked.
Before Arthur could reply, his Father was already staring into the girl beside him, he was puzzled to why he thinks he knows her from somewhere..
"Have we met before?." Franklin asked.
"Huh?."
"He was grazed by my sister's ability.. which if her sword pierces a flesh or two, my sister can take out that person's specific memories and she can return those memories by simply creating some contact between her and her victim.. and it depends on her if she returns your memories or not." He said.
"So if she touches her target and doesn't want to return that person's memories, it won't work?." Dorothy asked.
"Yes to be exactly." Arthur replied.
[What kind of Overpowered ability is that!?] She thought to herself.
"Your eyes really look familiar.. where have I seen them before? hmmm." Franklin said.
Louise Ackerman, Arthur's younger sibling, she has been scouted by different Heroes from different squads all for her ability, but she would turn down their offer the moment they open their mouths not even Merlin could persuade her to join them.
"Don't worry.. he'll be back to normal in a minute or two.. so for now just deal with it." Louise said.
As she turned her gaze towards the sides and sees Dorothy hugging Anna tightly as they were staying away from her, Louise then asks,
"What are you doing?."
They never gave her a reply as Louise then understood what they were doing, she then let out a soft giggle and says,
"Don't worry I won't use it on you.. besides I believe Father wanted me to join in on what he wanted to teach you two.. so don't worry.. I won't take your memories.. not yet hehehehe."
Arthur then *bonked* Louise's head with his hand, they then heard Carla's voice from a far as she was heading towards them, filled with sweat and was really exhausted.
"Is that? Carla?." Louise squinted her eyes.
"Yup." Arthur replied.
As she arrived in front of them she was grasping for air and was very sweaty, she then straightens her body and says,
"My King.. I have received your message.. now where is your Fathe---huh?."
She then sees Mr. Ackerman on the bench laying down, asleep.
"Don't worry about that he'll be fine.. just give it a minute or two.." Louise said.
