After gaining this new ability for the first time since reincarnating nick was able to see and just as his newly acquired vision adjust he sees a tree fall on the ground that was easily 40 ft in diameter and ~450 ft tall however when nick tried to look around he couldn't he could only see where the boy holding him was looking

Only after nick calmed down from the excitement of vision did he notice another notification

*status recalibrating*

After seeing this nick realized there would penalties for losing the massive body he started with just as he was worrying about what would happen he saw the notification saying

*recalibration complete*

*please look at recalibrated stats*

And after it was done nick immediately said open status to see how badly the stats were affected

After seeing his new stats nick got a little sad seeing how he had basically nothing

"I might as well have just started this way and not as that super op tree before"

However as nick started to talk the kid started looking for where the voice was coming from then asked

"Hey dad did you hear that voice?"

"No i didn't hear anything. You sure you heard something?"

"Yeah maybe it was the wind. Did you know that the wind talks by moving branches in the trees?"

"No maybe you can tell me some time. Now i think we've been here long enough lets head home"

While on the way "home" nick was unknowingly brought along thinking it was just a neat stick but nick nit being one to complain went along with it and while waiting practiced his two available ability's

"Ok first up magic circulation uh... activate"

While active nick noticed that he was healing faster, felt stronger, and felt what must have been his magic refreshing feeling newer and after seeing that it was a toggle skill he just left it on so it would hopefully level up. Next on the list nick tried

"Activate absorption?"

*absorption activating*

* would you like to filter what is absorbed y/n*

"Uh yes filter"

* would you like to filter out magic, oxygen, sunlight, nutrients, and or blood*

Upon seeing that nick could absorb blood he freaked out saying

"Do not absorb blood" over and over

*absorbing all available resource except for blood*

"Thank god i did not want to absorb the blood of a child"

While nick was busy having his panic attack at the same time the kid was playing with stick pretending that it was a sword and after arriving home he dropped the stick and ran inside

Meanwhile nick has calmed down just in time to freakout at being thrown into darkness once again
