Chapter Two
We say hi to each other, high five, first bump, hugs and whatnot, it just shows that we haven't seen each other in a long time. A sight to behold as people rejoicing at the meeting of their beloved friends, truly something indeed. "You guys went and had fun while we weren't around didn't you?" Well yeah, some of us didn't have to leave to our natives as we visit often or due to various reasons but others left after one or two weeks into the summer holidays. Luckily no one had supplementary classes during the holidays. "Well what were we supposed to do? Wait for you guys to have fun?" TP jokes, "But ....man...." We laugh it off. I notice the time, it's 9:15am, 5 minutes to the opening ceremony and I don't want us to be late, "Hey it's almost time guys, let's go." I push them and they start walking.
We all walk into the hall, it's a quite big hall. A lot of people have gathered here, not in order as they are waiting to be told to stand in order by the teachers, and we have managed to catch their eyes ,"TP, you really have a reputation, don't you?" I say as I smirk at him "Am I to blame?" TP replies. We all go and stand in order and teacher tells everyone to do the same. The student council presideny says some words after the principal and it's the usual talk.
The bell rings, "Students please go to their respective classes while maintaining discipline" that wraps up the ceremony, and it's been boring throughout the whole thing, I mean that's how it's supposed to be, I think. Well it's time to decide the seating arrangements, we do raffles to get the seats so it's quite based on luck. The class has 5 rows A,B,C,D and E , each row consists of 5 seats, so in total 25 seats, numbered 1-5 , one being the nearest to the board and five the farthest. A is the closest on to the window and E is the closest to the classroom entrance, the students want the seats near to the window atleast most of them do. A girl named Sumire got the seat way back in row A, she's quite happy. Another girl got seat A3, they have great luck I guess. It's finally my turn and I get... B2, damn that's close to the board, well I guess I ran out of luc......A4, damn that's the second last seat, next to the window too, I guess I have luck on my side.
Wait a minute, am I missing something? I feel weird suddenly, what is this? I'm sure I didn't eat anything bad in the morning but something feels off, could it have been the juice I drank yesterday but I feel like I'm forgetting something. "Hey, Akira I guess you got quite a seat there." This is one of my childhood friends, name's Suga "well I got the near the entrance, man we are far. Anyway class is starting, see ya." I high five him and he goes back to his place. I should just brush off this weird feeling, it's the first day of a new year of school, I should be more cheerful I guess.
