Tyrannical

Another light shone from thr giant spire. The audience took notice of this. A man pointed out,

"Imperial Dao Sects's greatest genius this epoch. I heard he's about to grasp their sect's primal essence soon."

Another person beside him replied, "Looks like the other worlds are even stronger this time around! It'd be lucky if I'll be able to even understand a small mystery of a primal essence."

Soon, more participants finished. Within a few hours, 128 geniuses have finally passed the first round.

They were teleported to a white room surrounded by towering marble pillars with golden carvings and details on them.

There was a row of 128 chairs placed around. The last participant arrived there and saw no one sitting on the chairs.

The young man immediately had his long brown hair being blown by a powerful pressure. His green eyes shrank as he started sweating immediately.

A chill ran down his spine; the hair on his body seemed to stand up as straighter than the foundation of a sect.

What he saw was other participants feeling the same way as he did. 2 auras equivalent to primal ancestors were shooting towards a black-haired man clad in black armor shining with red accents.

"Hahaha, interesting. I'll meet you two later in the semi-finals or whatever Don't disappoint me," said the 8-foot tall man as he swaggered away from those two primal ancestors and the aura disappeared.

The tension was still felt in the air as the participants dropped to their knees. This scene was being projected to the audience in the arena.

Shi Bing looked at the scene carefully and said, "Very overbearing... I might even have some trouble against that person."

Zhou Fengren replied, "Blah blah! Tyranny is useless if he can't even get to Godking! I'm more interested in that fatty. He truly has impressive talent!"

Meanwhile, the audiences had different opinions. They were shocked and yet interested at the event at the same time.

A young boy pointed out, "How domineering! He's saying he can defeat those two Primal Ancestors at once!"

Another person said, "He's so arrogant that he doesn't even feel their auras anymore! His mental state is terrible!"

The Emperor laughed at this scene as he said, "Hahahaha! This is so interesting. I wonder what will happen later on. Well, I shall stand up now."

He stood up as the audience silenced themselves. He spoke as his voice reverberated throughout the whole arena, including the lobby the participants were in.

"Congratulations to all the geniuses who have passed the first round. For those who didn't manage to pass - fear not. All of you here still have a bright future. Do not let this get you down and use it instead as a reason to strive for greater heights!" the Emperor said with great fervor.

"Now, we will be moving on to the next round. This time, everyone will be placed in a massive atena. You will have to fight everyone here. The last 16 men standing will move on to the next round. I wish you all luck - the 2nd round starts now!" he continued speaking as he waved his hand, causing the dungeon to disappear as a massive gray stage appeared at the center of the arena.

The Emperor sat down again as he took a sip of tea while the participants appeared scattered throughout the stage.

Everyone went on the move immediately while the Blacksun and Li Xiaowen meditated to work on their cultivation more. Naturally, no one touched those two.

Meanwhile, the man in black armor just leisurely roamed around. It seemed that he did not care about anything at all.

He walked across a 7 ft tall man. This man had big bulging muscles, dark brown skin and long ears and was quite hairy. He was the Imperial Dao Sect's greatest genius this epoch - Divine Mountain King.

The Divine Mountain King looked up at him with a sneer in his face. He asked, "What do you need?"

The black-armored man replied, "Ah, just give me all your treasures, spirit stones and sect secrets and manuals. Nothing too much."

The audience were shocked at this statement. One man pointed out, "That's insane! That guy just offended the Imperial Dao Sect with that statement. How outrageous!"

Another man said, "He won't take this lightly. He has a fiery temper and lashes out at anyone who inconveniences him for the smallest things!"

A flash of killing intent appeared in the Divine Mountain King's brown eyes as he gathered a tremendous amount of force capable of annihilating infinite worlds within his fist, smashing it towards the man in front of him with great speed!

He shouted, "So arrogant! This King shall teach you a lesson, hmph!"

The black-armored man replied, "How disrespectful. I was just asking for a bit of things, can't even be generous enough to give! Oh, how selfish!"

He proceeded to retaliate by flicking the air in front of him, blasting the Divine Mountain King out of the arena. His trail left the ground smoking hot.

The Divine Mountain King was completely unconscious. His clothes were ripped, his body full of wounds and bruises just from a flick that did not even make contact with him.

He couldn't even comprehend what happened before he was utterly decimated with a casual flick from the man he tried to attack.

The audience were riled up over this. A young man shouted, his eyes gleaming with excitement, "How tyrannical! He first asked him for his most precious treasures and the Imperial Dao Sect's secrets, then completely demolished him when he didn't comply! Who is he?!""

The man in black-armored yawn as he stretched his limbs before going on his way again. He said, "Ah, so disrespectful and selfish. That should have teached him a good lesson! Is everyone in this tournament so weak?"

Zhou Fengren said, "He has guts unlike that Li Xiaowen brat, but he's too damn arrogant! Not worthy to be my disciple. I want that fatty! That fatty!"
