Eternal Dao Palace

7 days have passed since Dai Mingyue has accepted a new master. Senior Goose' temple has been acknowledged to be the supreme powerhouse in the Soaring Dragon Peaks after countless old monsters and ancestors tried to attack the temple, only ending in miserable conditions afterwards.

Senior Goose gained a terrifying reputation as a mysterious Temple Lord no one has ever seen. But from the stories of the people who've attacked the temple, they've said things from him being a Divine Realm expert, a being of endless boundless divine light beyond their understanding, a being capable of slaughtering Primal Ancestors...

Everyone was curious about this mysterious Temple Lord. No one dared to find out about him though, in fear of suffering divine retribution. The temple gained a new nickname as well - Immortal Temple.

There are only 85 million members of the temple, each being the peerless prodigies of their generations. Heaven-defying geniuses were omnipresent within this temple. Even the venerated Primal Ancestors couldn't get their descendants in by the backdoor method.

Within the temple, there are seven main halls, each headed by a being in the Nine Heavenly Pillars expert from the Divine Realm, and had Primal Ancestor elders. Of course, the info about the Nine Heavenly Pillars level immediately spread around the Five Mythical Worlds, causing even more to wonder about the true power of the temple.

The Ancient Light Society was responsible for teaching disciples to be faithful and loyal to the sect, and handling disciplinary matters. The Myriad Treasures Pavilion was responsible for handing out treasures and materials for cultivation.

The World Expansion House gave out missions and tasks to disciples, which varied from handling sect matters to exploring forbidden grounds.

Then there was the Undying Spirit Society, responsible for tempering the Dao Hearts and wills of disciples. The next branch - Endless War Peak were filled with battle addicts, gaining reputation of having extremely ferocious disciples.

The Heavenly Karma Abode was responsible for keeping watch over the karma of disciples. They would resolve any karma that was heavily burdening disciples, although they usually do not directly act. They are also responsible for handling sect matters outside the temple.

Finally, the most mysterious and terrifying hall was the Eternal Dao Palace! Even the temple's prime elders, who are rumored to even be above the leaders of the other six branches are completely horrified of the Lord of the Eternal Dao Abyss.

The Eternal Dao Palace imparted the Dao, and contained extremely mysterious scriptures. Even the greatest geniuses were unable to find themselves entering the Eternal Dao Abyss... the requirements were truly too much.

There are only 9 disciples within the Eternal Dao Palace. Each of them were destined to eventually ascend to the Divine Realm, and maybe even become powerhouses there. Their potential were truly limitless.

In the Immortal Temple, there stood an extremely mysterious black palace floating above. It exuded an incomparably profound feeling, as if one were in the presence of the boundless Dao. This was the Eternal Dao Palace.

Inside the grand halls of the Eternal Dao Palace, in its vast grandiose pillars reaching the heavens, the red carpets releasing the most noble of auras...

There were 9 disciples inside, sweeping the floor. Each of them released vast auras, all of them being at the Divine Enlightenment Stage. They were the most peerless geniuses of this era, yet present on their faces were filled with disgust and unwillingness!

They were sweeping the floors of the immeasurably clean Eternal Dao Palace.

"What the hell?! That entry trial was so unimaginably difficult, and yet when we arrive we're supposed to clean this palace?! There isn't even a speck of dust anywhere here!" angrily screamed one youth.

"Each of us would be seen as peerless geniuses everywhere we go, but now we are sweeping the floor! What's the point?! That old Palace Lord should be the one cleaning himself! When we first came here, we were greeted by his annoying yawns and the smelly clothes of a beggar!" ranted another man.

"Mhm. But there is no choice, we cannot fight against the Palace Lord. He's too terrifying. I've seen some of the prime elders of the temple, but none of them were as horrific as him. We must endure and deal with it. It has only been 3 days anyway," said a young, cold beauty.

A black robed youth responded to the beauty, "Fine. I can accept us cleaning this place. But why is that one guy over there not doing anything, and yet the Palace Lord isn't even doing anything about it?!"

He pointed across a divinely handsome white-haired youth relaxing on the floor, his eyes closed and his hands behind his head serving as cushioning.

His features resembled that of the sloth Zhou Fengren met back on the way to the Five Mythical Worlds Tournament. He was the son of him!

Suddenly, the voice of Zhou Fengren, who was actually none other than the Palace Lord of the Eternal Dao Palace, reverberated throughout the hall.

"Wu Mengyao. Go to the Myriad Treasures Pavilion and get yourself a book containing the secrets of the Godking realm. Tell them this Great Venerable sent you! If they deny, fear not for I will come there myself and destroy those little brats' little playground! Bahaha, let's see if those brats think they can deny the orders of a Temple Ancestor! My rank isn't any lower than that of that stupid beast you call the Temple Lord!"

The sleeping youth, Wu Mengyao stood up and yawned five times. "Ai... I'm so sleepy... ah... no time to sweep the floors. Hmm...? Godking? Right, isn't father a Godking as well? Hahaha, maybe father sending me to this temple was really a good choice..."

He yawned again before continuing, "Haha, when father sees me he'll be so shocked that his own son lazier than him will be a Godking... ai... that is only if I bother cultivating... too boring..."

Some of the other disciples were infuriated. "What?! How can this lazy disciple gain a book containing the mysteries to a cultivation realm higher than the branch leaders?!"

Another disciple curiously asked, "Nevermind that kid. There must be a reason why the Palace Lord chose him. If the Palace Lord can casually give out books containing the mysteries of the Godking realm, then he must truly be a terrifying character. The other branch leaders are after all frightened of him. It seems that he might actually be an ancestor of the temple like he said!"

The frustrated disciple only let out a "Hmph!" before continuing to sweep the floor as his face twisted into an absurdly ugly expression.
