Then, I will explain this to you. This nation is called Kyo Empire, it is a country that ruled by the emperor, capital city's name is the Imperial city and it is the largest city in this empire. The empire divided into twelve provinces, exclude the imperial city. One of the province is the Northern province, where we are now and as capital of that city is the Blackmoon city. Nanbei city is second biggest city in the northern province where merchant from the empire and also from Steppe do the trade. It is also where northern army's based. As you know 50 years ago the Kyo empire was on the war with the tribes on the desert, even know there are still some minor conflict between them. So the empire place an army in this city. This is also to guarantee the trade in this city and area outside the city, to prevent a raid from the desert tribes. Kyo empire is not the only nation that exist in this region. There are also several other nation, but I only know the nation near the empire. On the west ,empire border with Naman State, this nation consist of various city state that form an alliance and their decision is made by the state council with each city has a representative, the Kyo empire doesn't have a good relationship with that nation, from I the news that merchant talked about, it said that it is very often there were a skirmish on border between the nation, as the full scle war, it is not happen yet.

The next is eastern border, on the east there are several kingdom, there are seem conflict between them, but when outside force want to invaded they come to unite, ten years the kyo empire try to invade and unite the eastern kingdoms but it failed, because they formed an alliance among them to fight the outsider.

As for the south there is Koresh empire, the kyo empire has a friendly relationship with that empire, the current empress is actually the younger sister of Koresh empire's emperor. So not only this empire has a good relation but also they formed an alliance.

What about the north border mom??asked Altan. Teya then pensive absentminded for while. I already told you before that if pass the golgi desert we will arrive at large steppe. A steppe?? What is that mom?

It is a land where nomadic people live, the child since age five already learn how to ride, they are expert of hunting and horse riding. There are so many tribe on there. Is the steppe larger the kyo empire ? yes of course altan. It is far far larger.

But…but.. there ara always war on there, the war like daily activity.

Mom, can you bring me some time if you go to trade in other city, I want see this empire. It isnot fun if I only stay in this city.
