No one raised a a concern since they knew that the manual he brought was even worth of any two treasures from the treasury.

Long Bai followed elder Jun until the hall but stayed only at the reception area. Elder Jun on the other hand was accompanied inside the vault to get the item he wanted. While Long Bai was waiting, a lady he was very familiar with came to him with a smile.

Yang Ruiya greeted formally to Long Bai as if he was a noble son of someone. Long Bai detected this change of treatment to him and gave her a forehead flick.

"Ah! Young master, what was that for?" Ruiya was almost tearing up confused of what was going on.

"What rumor has entered your ears that made you treat me this way? If you call me again like that, I'll give you another flick." Long Bai warned.

"By the way, why are you here? I don't think you'll follow me to this place?" Long Bai added playfully.

Before Ruiya can scream in pain, she saw his master.

Elder Jun was a bit flustered with his disciple's nosey attitude. Although she was like such, he took her since he saw potential in her.

"Ahem. Little Ruiya, don't be rude. I don't have the qualifications to become his father. Its more like he should be my master or something. Anyway, did you get your promotion as you said?"

Ruiya happily showed elder Jun the silver tag. With all of them settled, the three walked together towards elder Jun's residence. With the addition of Ruiya in the procession, the people has again crafted additional stories about elder Jun where they were saying that Ruiya has become the daughter-in-law. All sorts of stories spread all throughout the residence in a short while.

Back at the residence after receiving the breakthrough pill, Long Bai was able to gain three levels instantaneously. Although it holds huge amounts of essence, it wasn't enough for the system to use it to open the next gate channel. It seemed that only treasures on the same level as the millennium milk would be able to help him with this cause.
