Chapter Four

[P.O.V. Zyston Woods]

Sleeping peacefully next to my Mate, then waking up from feeling her distress threw our bond. I tried to wake her up, but she wouldn't budge. The moment her distress turned into absolute fear, I tried even harder to wake her up. The next thing that happens tore me apart. She screamed a high pitch scream. I never wanted to hear her scream like how she did. It made my own arm hair stick up. The moment her eyes sprung open, she started crying really hard. Wrapping her arms around my neck and her sitting on my lap. Crying from what she experienced, I am completely clueless about what just happened. All I could do was hug her tight and comfort her.

At first, I thought she was having another bad dream about Lang. Then it dawned on me if this was a bad dream, I could see it threw our bond. From that point on, I knew it wasn't a dream. It was something else, but what? After she cried, she blocked our bond completely. She wouldn't come out of our room; she wouldn't even eat. As the days went by, she wouldn't even let anyone or me in our bedroom.

It has been a week since that night happen. I'm scared and worried about my Mate. It got to the point I have called on the future royal Eleven couple. Elves are known to have healing magic. Not even they could help her.

Then that's when I called upon the future royal Warlock and Witch couple. Not even they could help her. That when I realized I had no other choice but to call upon the Oracle that helped me all those years ago. She is one of the very few supernaturals that has lived for many centuries. Her magic and techniques are quite ancient and helpful; maybe she can help my Mate.

Waiting outside of the house for her arrival. A portal appears a young woman with a small black Mohawk with purple on its top and pale white skin. She was wearing black and skin, showing clothes. The portal closes, and the Oracle was looking around.

"That's her?" Katrina mind-links me sounding very surprised."I honestly was imagining a very old woman." The oracle looked at me, all excited. Walking down the steps to meet her.

"Zy, Zy!!" Tanasha yells, running towards me. Grumbling annoyingly at her, Katrina and Tyler were laughing at her nickname for me. Tanasha and I start playing like we were fighting each other afterward, she-bear hugs me.

"What the hell are you wearing?" Asking her.

"You like it? I was just at an awesome rock concert." She says, showing off her new look. My face just remained serious. "No? Maybe an '80s look?"

With a snap of her finger's, her look completely changed. She kept changing looks while I remained with a serious look.

"Tanasha... Tanasha... TANASHA!" Yelling her name while feeling a little annoyed, she quits her rambling and fashion show.

"Fine! My regular look it is!" She snaps back. Changing her looks, she had waist long white hair. Her eyes were completely white as well, and she was wearing a black robe. "Better?"

"Very." Telling her calmly and seriously.

"After I help you with your precious Luna, you owe me one." She points her finger with her long fingernail at me as she goes into the house. Following behind her, Kat grabs my arm before I can go in.

"That's the Oracle that helps you with your blood thirst problem?" Katrina asks curtly.

"Yes." Answering her back.

"Are you crazy? She doesn't even seem all there!"

"Tanasha is about a thousand years old, Kat, and if you were her age, you would be almost insane as well."

"If she that crazy, then why are you letting her near Adriana?" Growling from frustration, she let go of my arm and backed down. Storming into the house, meeting Tanasha in front of Adriana and my bedroom.

"Your Luna has been cursed," Tanasha says bluntly.

"Cursed?" Not quite understanding. "What do you mean, cursed?"

"By a very ancient dark magic.." Giving a thoughtful facial expression as her voices go quiet. "I know what to do, but I'm going to need a witch or warlock. Preferably someone that is an expert with dark magic."

Doing as Tanasha asks as fast as I can asking Blaise and Sybil, the future royal Witch and Warlock couple. About anyone that could help Tanasha. Taking me by surprise, Sybil said she could do it. Waiting patiently for Sybil to arrive, a knock at the front door echoed through the foyer. Opening the front door, a woman with shoulder-length blonde hair, brown purplish eyes, and tattoos decorating her body.

"Alpha King." Sybil greets.

"Coven Queen." Greeting her back. Letting her into the house and taking her into the living room Tanasha was all over her.

"Wow, you look exactly like what I saw in my vision!" Tanasha says, all excited. Sybil looked at me, giving me the who's-the-crazy-lady-look.

"Sybil, this is Oracle Tanasha." Introducing them to each other.

That when Sybil gave me an understanding look. Tanasha took Sybil by the hand and went upstairs with me right behind them.

(Warning! there are signs of abuse in this part.)

I'm in my old apartment, the one I use to share with Robert. After graduating from business college with Scarlet and Jake. I'm hiding from Robert in the kitchen closet. Everything that I had with Zyston feels like it was some dream-like; it never truly existed. Waking up from that dream, I am back in this disgusting apartment. The strange part about this reality is the moment I fall asleep, the same-day replays. It's never night, and the date never changes. When I first ended up here, I didn't even realize it until recently. Because of those small things I notice, I know that something has happened to put me here. 'Maybe, just maybe everything with Zyston wasn't a dream?'

The kitchen closet door opens with a huge bang. Making my heart race even more, and a small scream leaving my mouth.

"Baby girl, why are you hiding? Don't you know its playtime?" Robert asks sarcastically. The last few repetitive days I have been here, that is not what Robert usually says.

Grabbing my hair and dragging me out of the closet. Picking me up by my shirt and slams me into the kitchen counter, starting to beat me. 'What happening? He usually drags me into the front room!'

"Adriana! You need to fight!" A small voice ringed in my head. It sounded like Zyston.

Crawling on the floor, trying to get away from Robert. He kicks me from the side and sends me flying into the wall knocking my breath out. 'What-the-fuck? The Robert I remember couldn't kick me that hard.'

"Adriana, our enemies have put a curse on you. A kind of curse where you're stuck in a memory that you most fear. The only way to break the curse is by facing.." Zyston voice got cut off while it ringed in my head again. 'Facing? Facing what? My fears?' Thinking for a few minutes when it clicked.

Robert coming towards me, quickly recovering from that kick and getting up. Adrenaline pumping threw my body and my heart beating fast. Kneeing him where the sun doesn't shine. After kneeing him, the strangest thing happened; it was like a mirage. One minute it was Robert the next, it was some stranger. A man with long hair and brownish red eyes then turns back into Robert.

"You're going to regret that!" Robert says. Zyston was right. Maybe this is all in my head. Running away from him, opening the front door, it took me to a different place.

It looked like a battlefield; behind this battlefield was a huge castle. Everything and everyone looks like something out of Medieval times. 'This isn't my memory.'

"No, it is mine." A female voice said. Looking over my shoulder, there stood my wolf, Raina.

"Raina?.." I can't believe it. Excited that she actually does also exist because I missed her. I ran towards her and hugged her, telling her what just happened in my memory.

"I heard Travis call to me the same way Zyston called to you." Kneeling in front of her, she looked kind of sad.

"Raina, what's wrong?" She looked up at me.

"That night, when we fell asleep, that wasn't a dream Adriana. Our powers are starting to come in, and that night we Astro projected... The Man-made out of smoke is neither part of the real world or the spirit world. That how he was able to touch our Astro body when he did. I remember exactly who he is." She says sadly. "I can't explain it to you. It's something I have to show you." She starts to walk away with me following behind her. She takes me deeper into her memory.
