Chapter Eleven

[P.O.V. Adriana Braxton]

Every Werewolf is in their positions, ready for battle. Waiting for the storm to finally hit us. Our gunmen's guns loaded with silver bullets hiding high up in the trees. Some wolves are hiding on the ground to protect our guns men. They will hit the Dark Army first and once the Dark Army brakes through the tree line. The rest of us will attack from the ground in our wolf forms. The rainstorm above us starts to rain harder.

After waiting for hours, the first gunshot goes off, then a chorus of gunshots. My heart is pumping so hard I can hear it through my ears. Sounds of painful howls echoed through the forest. 'Focus, Adriana,' I kept telling myself. Taking a deep breath in and letting out. Ordering the ones in the forest to retreat to us. The only thing was nobody answered, which only made my heart sink. Brush moving from the forest, some of our wolves were able to return.

Commanding the pack to shift into their wolves. Cloths went flying in the air; it looked like confetti almost. Shiloh, Gilo, and Milo, never leaving my side. Letting their dragon side take over their body. Their eyes shift to sliver dragon eyes. Shifting into my wolf, Raina.

The Dark Army merges through the tree line charging towards us. Taking a deep breath than taking the first few steps, my pack follows behind me. Dark Army crashing into Silver Moon pack tearing into each other.

Blood and the smell of death were drifting in the air. Howls of pain and death echoed through the stormy night. From both sides of the battle of hours of endless fighting. Numbers going down on both armies. It seems that our numbers are going down a little faster than the enemies.

Rolling in the mud with a rogue biting and clawing at each other. Getting the higher end and braking the rogue neck. Shiloh, Gilo, and Milo staying close to me from a good distance away. Fighting and protecting me the best they can.

Getting pounced on by two dead rogues, they bite into me, poisoning me. As well as dislocating my left arm, a loud howl, and whine left my mouth. Trying to get them off me and failing at it. They kept biting down and tearing at my flesh until a creature like a roar got their attention.

The creature attacks the dead rogues getting them off me. This creature was half-wolf, dragon, and human. It was quite a sight to see, and the thing is I'm not afraid of this creature. Because deep down, I knew who it was. After killing the rogue's coal-burning orange eyes looked at me.

My heart was fluttering, and my stomach was full of butterflies. It seems as if time stopped itself. It was hard for me to believe that he was actually here. He turns away from me and continues to fight. Shiloh picks me up and takes me into the packhouse. Going into the infirmary and sits me down on the hospital bed. Gilo guarding us while Milo grabs me clothes to wear.

"Shift, my Queen," Shiloh says. Shifting back, Shiloh wraps me in a blanket. "We need to pop your arm back in place."

"He's back... His really back..." Tears stream down my face as my heart dances in joy. Shiloh gives me a small smile.

"Yes, he's really back." Shiloh sits next to me. Milo puts the clothes down at the end of the bed. Then takes a seat next to me too. "Take a deep breath and bite down on this stick. This is going to hurt."

Milo holding me tight and a stick in my mouth. Shiloh puts my shoulder back into place. After doing so, they help me into a white t-shirt. Putting a sling on for my arm to rest on. Giving me a shot of the Anti-Poison to keep the poison from killing me. I couldn't help but chuckle a little after they were done.

"What so funny?" Shiloh asks curiously.

"Oh, nothing... Just how Zyston is going to kick yours and Milo asses for seeing me naked." Their faces go pale, all but Gilo he laughed with me. Milo hands me some ibuprofen he found and a glass of water.

"We need to keep moving," Milo says, kind of quietly.

"I need to get back out there and fight," Telling them.

"Zyston is back; he will take care of this fight. You need to get downstairs with everyone else." Shiloh says

"But I need.." Shiloh cuts me off.

"No, the King orders are to get you downstairs. And that is what I plan on doing!" He says more forcefully. "I'm sorry, my Queen, but the King's orders happens before yours." Huffing out my frustration, I get up and start walking towards the exit. With them following me, I headed to Sanctuary.

[P.O.V. Zyston Woods]

After leaving the prison hurrying to Dark Wood as possible, I could hear and smell that the battle already started when I got closer to the Pack grounds. It only made my legs pump faster to get there. When I finally got to the battlefield, that's when I felt pain. Not my pain but Adriana's finding where she was. The scene that I saw before me made Travis, Stryker, and I furious that we changed into our hybrid form.

Knocking the dead rogues off my Mate and tearing them apart. Making sure she was okay, her intoxicating smell hit my nostrils. Something about it this time seemed a little different. It smelled as if a new smell was lingering with hers. There only one reason why female werewolf smell slightly changes, then it dawned on me.

When a werewolf is bitten to change, anything they have as humans usually doesn't get healed by the werewolf ability. Smelling Adriana scent, I know Raina, her wolf. Must have healed her ability to have children. It doesn't often happen when this kind of situation happens.

When everything clicked together, I wanted to protect her even more. Contacting Shiloh threw mind link commanding him to get Adriana off the battlefield. Joining the fight once again, killing and slaughtering the enemy. After endless hours and a day, the battle to destroy the Moon Goddess Kingdom. Was finally finished even though it is there no time to rest.

Changed back into a human form, looking around—hundreds of bodies laid everywhere. The ground was painted with blood. Packhouse was torn to pieces. Tyler walks up to me and hands me a pair of basketball shorts.

"We won." He says proudly, also with tiredness.

"This is just the beginning." Saying seriously with exhaustion laced in my voice. Tyler looks at me, curiously.

"What do you mean?"

"Alexander plans on bringing the Dark King back. For this to happen, they're waiting for the purple moon to rise. Something about this moon has the power to bring him back, with the sacrifice of a life. The Dark King takes over that sacrifice body for his own, bringing him back. From what I understand, the Dark King is going to destroy all. The Gods and Goddess Kingdom's like he did all those years ago. This time he plans on finishing it."

"Sounds like he wants to be the higher King and rule the heart of the Kingdom, including the five that surrounds that Kingdom."

"I do believe that is his plan."

"So, what are you thinking about doing?"

"We let our warrior's heal and rest for now—the ones who can still stand, including Joseph, You, and I. We're going to clean up the dead, all the Dark Army Warrior's throw in a pile. Our warrior's we will lay on logs and give them honorable death. Once this is all over, we will give those who lost someone a resting place. Like we did with Vincent and the others that died that day."

"Then, What?"

"We march to the Stone God Kingdom. Outside of their town is an abandoned one called Rock Well. That is where the Dark Army is hidden and being made. Alexander plans on attacking the Dwarf King and Queen next."

"I see. Well, we better get started then." He pats me on the shoulder then starts to walk away.

"Tyler." He turns around. "She still lives."

He looked confused at first. Until he realized who I am talking about.

"You killed her, though? Are you sure?" He asks, making sure I'm not crazy.

"I saw her in the very flesh." My words coming out like poison.

"Since she is still alive, that means she more powerful than we thought. We need to be more cautious about her."

"I agree." He nodded his head in agreement and went to give out some orders. Taking one last look at everything and taking a deep breath in. Then let it out, I join what's left of my Pack.
