Chapter-2 (part -2)

"Shocked" is understatement what I am feeling right now. My whole body shivering, wide eyes i stand like a statue. I stop breathing feels like someone choking me. "Lia are you coming?" sound of granny break my trance. In few seconds putting my night shirt and shorts but not before shutting the window and curtains i make my way to the kitchen. "Why you look like you ghost? " ask granny. "I i think i saw ghost?" i replied more like a question. "Oh! we have a ghost!!!? And I never met him? that's not fair. You should invite him for dinner Lia. I would like to meet him." she replied. Knitting my eyebrows today I'm thinking what answer do i have now and here she is giggles like a girl. "Very mature granny" mumbling i sat on a chair and start eating. She laughs and say " what you want me to say? you never scared of anything before even when you were child and now you telling me you saw a ghost. like I believe you, more important we don't have a ghost coz before you and your father i lived here alone for almost 15 years darling". She pause for few seconds then ask" Did something happened in school? i mean with Adrian?.

Adrian my best friend, actually WAS my best friend. After my dad i was became reserved didn't want to do anything or with anyone i was just lost. He was my friend he should be there for me right? Unfortunately he thought i was a cry baby so he gave me space and didn't talk to me almost a month. After that apologize to me and thought we were cool. I didn't say a word but he said and i quote "I'm your best friend i know what are you thinking". We are not like before but i never shut him out just don't talk to him much. Granny thought we had something going on coz i had a crush on him but trust me there's nothing not even in my dreams now.

She knows and sometimes she did that to push my buttons like what she doing it now. But i learn that keep quiet is the best option.

"Actually it's about the haunted house" i told her.

Granny look confused. "it's the Empty house next door" i told her.
