[ A gift from Professor Ade]

After Hina and her new friends showed me their dimensional beasts everyone was called back to our classroom.

We were dismissed by the principal. "Honestly when are we going to get a proper school life again?" I thought to myself. I then looked around and saw Hina talking to her new friends. She seemed happy. "I'm glad that she opened up a bit." I thought to myself.

I arrived at my apartment and saw a small box on my bed. There was a letter attached to it.

It said < Hey Kashi, it's me Professor Ade. I have a present for you. It's a portal upgrade for your overdrive gear. Now you can have a personal portal that you can bring anywhere. And btw sorry for lying about your overdrive gear. It's a prototype I made.

What dimension is the portal linked to? you may ask. Well it's a new dimension that only you have access to, so with all that done enjoy your portal and enjoy getting a dimensional beast.>

Professor Ade, the original creator of the overdrive gears and portals. Having stuff that he made himself is an honor. But sometimes I wonder if he's crazy or not. I mean who would make a teen go to a new dimension that may be more dangerous than the others. But I do appreciate this. "Now I can get my own dimensional beast!" I thought to myself.

I opened the box. And within it were two metal balls that had circuitry like design. I held one on each hand. And suddenly both started to melt and go through my skin. After a few moments I saw light at the parts where my overdrive gear chips were placed. After a few moments it disappeared. "Well that worked." I thought to myself. I summoned one of my gauntlets and held my arm in front of me. A red portal then appeared. I said.

I went to the portal cautiously. I walked in and in just a second I was already at the other side. I said. The place had a red sky and the ground was just blood red rocks, some had flames on them. And there was a lava lake. I said.

I walked around. It seemed like this dimension was a bit calm for having an appearance like this. However in just a few moments, I hear breathing behind me. I said. It suddenly punched me. I was able to block it with my gauntlets but it still sent me flying. "If it weren't for my gauntlets my arms might have been broken." I thought. I then hit a wall. The impact was so powerful that it broke the wall and made me cough out blood.

Behind the demon was a chest. The demon dashed towards me. However when the demon was 5 meters away from the chest, it stopped. "So he has a specific area." I thought.

As soon as I recovered I quickly dashed to the demon. The demon threw another punch. But this time I dodged it using my lightning speed. I ran in circles. The demon was getting confused. "So it can't keep up, huh?" I thought. I charged behind the demon. I threw a punch. However even though I successfully hit the demon, it didn't even flinch. I said I threw another punch, only this time I used my strength multiplier. I successfully knocked out the demon.

I went to the demon and touched it. However as soon as I touched it, it turned into a red like liquid and went through my skin. It targeted both of my arms and went directly for the chips. I felt a sudden shock.

My whole body started to hurt. I screamed. I pass out because of the immense amount of pain.

I opened my eyes to be greeted with a message.

[ System unlocked ]

I said. I then wondered how I unlocked the system. As I was thinking I then realized something. "If I have a system then that also means I have a status." I thought. I then thought of "Status". An interface then appeared.
