Hello, This is my first time writing a web novel. I know that there are a lot of things that I could improve on so any constructive criticism will be welcomed. I will read your comments and try to improve my writing. Thank you in advance for reading this novel or at least the synopsis.

The Upgrade system

"I can sell you some healing pills but I don't know how to make this so-called Spirit Gathering Pills."


"No worries, I am not an alchemest myself but I have always wanted to be one. I have collected a couple of recipes including one of the Spirit Gathering pills and I saw all of the herbs needed for the pills deep  inside the forest."


Leo continued, "Can you make the pill for me? I can give you the recipe for it and I will also get the herbs from the forest."


"Yes, as long as I have the recipe and the herbs, I can make the pill for you but can I ask what this pill does?"


"The pill will help you get more spirit energy around you allowing you to cultivate faster."


'Then what the heck does this pill have to do with healing your injuries? You can just eat the healing pill. He is just making me do extra work for him but at least I get a pill recipe which in itself is hard to get.'


"I know what you are thinking, but my injuries are special and it needs spirit energy as well as healing pills for me to recover and the Spirit Gathering PIll will make that process faster."


'Ok, I swear you are making up stuff on the fly now but what can I do except go along with your explanation.'


A day later, Leo and Dan met in a deeper part of the forest as Dan didn't want to come to his house and know his true identity and Leo didn't want to attract too much attention from the village.


Leo gave Dan the recipe and the herbs before Dan started to make the pills. In the beginning, Dan purposely made a lot of mistakes. If he didn't make a mistake especially if it's his first time making a pill, it would be very abnormal.
