The Council of Celestia (Raziel)

*sigh*

"I'm not looking forward to this..."

As I take my assigned seat in the council room, more and more Gods and Goddesses fill the large room. And before long, all the important Deities are here... except for the two who are supposed to be sitting next to me, Akkre and Chronos. The various Elder's are quick to notice the absence of my unwilling companions but decide to move on to the main issue anyways as Odin starts the meeting.

"Since most of us are here, let's start with the most pressing matter at hand. The Keeper of Eternity, Akkre the Omnipotent, has started causing trouble again. However, as usual, he isn't here when the topic involves him. The Keeper of Time, Chronos the Omnipresent, isn't here either, and he would undoubtedly know how the situation would unfold. Thus I bring this question to the Keeper of Knowledge, Raziel the Omniscient, what is the intentions of Akkre's actions in regard to the violation of the restrictions placed on him?"

I knew this would happen, but why does this have to be the first problem brought up today...

"From my understanding, Akkre intends to bring back the four Beast of Calamity on the world of Grauntia, which is located within one of the subspaces he created. I do not believe this will bring too many negative effects as Chronos has not yet done anything to stop him and is probably helping him."

The moment I mentioned the four Beast of Calamity, the room was shaken with a wide variety of smaller conversations taking place making it near impossible to hear anything. But this doesn't last long as Zeus brings order back to the room.

"Silence! You can have your private talks later, but right now the Council is still in session. Now then, putting aside whether or not Akkre's actions will be harmful, the first problem is that he was once again violated the sanctions placed on him previously. The Lord of Eternity is not to interfere in the matters of the mortal world unless it pertains to a matter that directly involves him or his descendants. The Lord of Eternity is cannot remain in the mortal world for more than one month at a time, however, time spent in the mortal world under his jurisdiction with the Death Bureau is not counted towards this. All sanctions placed on Akkre are to be applied to his wife, Tsuki, as they can be considered to be one person for they are soul-bound to each other. Both of these sanctions were violated as he purposefully killed a mortal before her time and his wife had remained on Sol III, Earth, for an extended period of time. In light of these violations, I propose that the two of them are to be placed in confinement for the next one thousand years."

Isn't that a little harsh? I know that Akkre isn't well liked by many Deities for being a Half-Demon, but with a punishment that harsh I don't think he will take it silently as he does with those sanctions. But it doesn't seem like things are looking up for him as most of the Gods are in agreement. He is going to owe me a favour for this.

"I disagree, why not limit the punishment to simple house arrest," I turn my head so as to look at everyone in the room as I continue, "do you all honestly think that Akkre will take such a harsh punishment without a fight, as he does for the sanctions you all put on him? Should this proposal pass, who is the one to enforce it. Imposing this punishment will turn into a guaranteed battle with him, just who is it that declare that they can win against him, let alone even be willing to fight him!"

Hearing my counter-argument, most of the Deities go silent as they think about the outcome of a battle between themselves and Akkre. And before long expressions of hesitation and doubt appear. Even if all of Celestia, Gods, Goddesses, Angels, Divine Beasts, and purified ghosts, all team up to take him, Akkre would probably still win. And that doesn't even include the few that would side with him.

"That's right! I'll personally beat anyone who dares claims that they could beat my sworn brother in a fight!"

One of the few Deities that Akkre has good relations with speak up, Sun Wukong the Monkey King.

"To begin with, isn't it more likely that my brother isn't even planning anything at all and is just bored. He probably wasn't thinking too much about it and wanted something to do. All you guys ever do is put more and more restrictions on him so of course, he is going to break them. He has never liked having his freedom restricted after all."

"I concur with the Monkey King," as Sun Wukong finishes speaking, Akkre's cousin, Izyi, daughter of Lord Death, speak up, "It is completely in line with both his thought process and personality to not really have any plans and is just trying to have some fun and appease his boredom. Ever since he resigned as Emperor of the Great Demon Empire all those years ago, he hasn't had much to do. Chances are he only violated the sanctions so he could watch the reactions of everyone else. If Lady Raziel's assumption is correct them both Akkre and Chronos are watching this meeting from afar."

Now that they mention it, that is definitely something he would do. Acting like he had everything planned out when in reality he probably wasn't thinking of anything it all. Eventually, the topic shifts to the various other issues that need to be addressed, but I feel like half of them had something to do with Akkre messing around, but I won't say anything, I don't want to deal with any more trouble today. After a couple of hours the Council begins to come to a close as we vote on the various proposals to the problems that were previously brought up, and thankfully, the proposed punishment for Akkre just barely didn't pass. But I was still told to deal with it anyways. I can't even get to Grauntia without Akkre's assistance. I'll just tell the subsidiary Gods I left behind the last time I was there to deal with it. I don't want to bother with this issue anymore and let someone else deal with it. He really is an annoying person to deal with.
