A Journey to the West (Akkre)

"*Sigh* I may have made a mistake."

"What's wrong, what mistake did you make this time? Is something interesting going to happen because of it?" Tsuki asks.

"It's nothing special this time. It's just a bit of reflecting on the past when I first created Grauntia. Having spent plenty of time playing the video games created by the people of the mundane world, I've come to realise just how absurd the System I made for Grauntia is. But it's too late for me to do it over."

"You only just realised this? That was one of the first things I noticed when I first started playing them, and I was the one who got you into video games."

"Hmm... I just thought of something, I think I might create a new world and use it for the stage of my next time-killing project. I'm pretty sure that one of our descendants runs a small game company on Earth, I think I'll have to pay him a visit soon. But this will have to wait, we've almost arrived at Mount Dragspear, let's pay our newborn Dragon friend a visit."

After a couple more minute of walking, we notice that the residents of Mount Dragspear are slowly surrounding us. A wary bunch aren't they? They seem to be the rough type, if I were to make a guess then I would say that they're probably some kind of gang, with their matching outfits and all. But there are a few who don't match that description, all of which are Dragonoids. They appear to be a little cleaner appearance-wise than the gang like people, but they still have that rough feeling to them. Now that I think about it, I remember one of those kids telling me that the Dragonoids had taken on a nomadic lifestyle and frequently raided other nearby settlements, but this was a long time ago but it doesn't seem like they gave up the nomadic life since then. And it seems that the bloodline effect is working as intended if these are the people that Cordelia is associating with.

As another minute has passed, the people here finally come out from hiding and completely surround us in a circle. Straight ahead, they open a small path for a Red Dragoinoid to enter the front of the circle of people. Based on the way the others are addressing her I think it safe to assume that she's the one in charge, or one of the people in charge around here.

After listening to what her companions have to say the Red Dragonoid finally addresses us, "Good that you at least know to not make any sudden movements when we have you two surrounded. Now who are you and why have you come here?"

In a mocking tone, I say, "isn't it common sense to introduce yourself before asking for others to do so, my, how rude."

"For some reason, my urge to walk over there and hit you is really high, but the only thing holding me back is my better judgement telling me that you are dangerous. *sigh* I'm the boss here, Milla Galyn Nudarga. Khanum of the Red Dragonoids, Khatun of the Dragonoids, and leader of the Dragon Bandits. Now tell me, who are you and why can't either of you be identified by the System?"

"One of those titles is not like the others." Briefly, I pause before entering rap mode, "and it's not like we can't be identified by the System, it's just that you don't have the qualifications to see anything. This is Tsuki. If you were stronger and had a better inspection skill then you would have been able to see something. I'm Akkre. If I am recalling the correctly then you would need to be a high levelled Legendary class and have a legendary tier inspection skill to be able to see a little information on me."

"You still haven't introduced yourselves and told me why you are here," Milla says, clearly getting more and more irritated.

"Geez, you lot got wax in ya' ears or something? I clearly introduced both of us earlier. Just look back a few lines in the script."

"What script! And how am I supposed to hear anything you just said, let alone your introductions, when you speak so fast! Someone is going to need to hold me back soon or I'm going to end up hitting him regardless of the danger!"

"*Sigh* Young people these days, they just don't know how to listen. I guess if you're that inattentive I can repeat my self. I am Akkre Kojuuin, and this is my wife Tsuki. We came here to visit a friend. The Dragon, Cordelia Auspin."

"Oh, so you know Cordelia, but I've never heard once that she had any friends."

"Well, I say friend but I suppose in her eyes, I am someone that she desires to kill the most."

"... Ok. Well, she left almost a week ago with one of my subordinates on a trip to Lausiel, so she isn't here right now."

"You're really just gonna ignore that, aren't you. Fine, they guess that's just more sightseeing for us then. So we'll be going now. Oh. but make sure to tell her that I was here once you see her again."

Seeing that we don't have ill will towards them and signalling that we're leaving, the people surrounding us break their formation and return to their mountain base as we begin our journey to the west. I should have brought Monkey Bro with me and maybe look for a pig and a white horse too, that would make for a fun time.

I repeatedly punch a nearby wall until it is nothing but dust as a way to vent.

"I hope I never have to speak with that guy ever again!"
