Summoner Aether Servant

Today was the last day of his stay in Warriors Arena. After the breakthrough he went through to the Gold rank the previous day, he became more confident of his abilities to fight. It didn't matter whether he was using his two ancient relics, because now he had the spiritual energy, and he even found a way to use it roughly.

His opponent today was unknown, and at present, he didn't have enough cash to collect information on this person, all he found was the person's name; Aether Servant.

His areas of specialisation were unknown, and it seemed he had just recently come to the warrior's arena. Feng decided he would not hold back and use full force against him, but he could only use full force when he had his blades. But unluckily, he didn't have it.

Just as he was about to go onto the stage, he heard a voice calling out to him.

He looked towards the source and saw a familiar white and blue-clothed youth with a broadsword on his back and ethereal wolves at his feet.

"Feng boy, yeah, sorry for not being here to watch your matches, but whatever it makes no difference either way, just came to tell you about the new parts of the deal I developed."

"Yeah, ok, man-boy, what is it."

"Don't call me man-boy, anyway I permit you to use your blades, and if you win this match, you can get some gifts and have the pleasure of becoming my assistant."

'Oh no I agree to this I might die from how eccentric he can be.'

Feng grinned and said.

"Fine, but as long as the gifts are good."

"Che deal."

'This little boy will regret making me spend extra things on me, just wait till that Daoist Aether Servant destroys the brat. Kekeke'

Unbeknownst to him, the Dire Wolf immortal had already seemed to plan his demise, and the Wi also knew Daoist Aether Servant.

...

DONG

"Begin!"

The match begun like it always had, Feng pulled his arm backwards and wound it over and over, he did it for both arms and then conjured his blades. During this period, he had not even looked up to view the opponent.

Seeing him, the crowd was in a rage, and they yelled out similar statements.

"What the hell is Modern Day Asura doing, shouldn't he bring out his daggers or fight with his hands?"

"Mr Asura, better fight with your dagger or your fists, after all, you are more proficient with them!"

"Idiot, he is a fool, che the death of a genius like him will be a pity."

Feng ignored these fellows who yelled from their seats and kept the Flying Raijin blade in front in his right hand and drew his left hand backward with the Thunder Pheonix blade in his wrist. It was a stance he had developed from nothing; it had no specifics, and it was just a random blade stance that had no specific qualities.

Feng finally looked up to see who stood where the opponent was at. It was a grey-robed middle-aged man, who held an Arcane Wood staff on the top of the wooden staff a grey gem was embedded and emitted arcane energy.

They stood and stared at each other with no movement at all until eventually the middle-aged man cross of Feng raised his staff and begun chanting,

"Emoc Htrof dnuohlleh."

A grey, swirling portal that looked akin to a galaxy appeared, and from within a loud bark-roar could be heard from within, a wave of heat emerged from the entrance, and the bark-roar was heard again, only this time a large body came with it.

It was a giant fiery hellhound. This beast was one of the aether beasts that come from the aether. Summoners had to risk their lives in the aether just to tame beasts like this. The creatures from this place could also advance, and a hellhound like this could advance into a two-headed hellhound and aster that they would further develop into a three-headed hound.

These evolutions were so popular because it could later compare to the legendary hounds Orthrus and Cerberus. Soon the audience chattered with surprise and pity towards Feng.

"A summoner who wears grey robes and has a hellhound; it must be the fallen combat genius Aether servant, who used to be known as Daoist NineKnifes of the Brothers of the Knife. They had immense power, and all of them were of the elite sovereign rank. The ninth of them was the most talented, but alas, what use was potential if you get disabled or die—in his case, crippled. Eventually, the fallen combat genius becomes a summoner and using his skills from the old days. He could easily get beasts from the aether."

"Right, just like the case of this young boy who met this summoner Aether Servant."

"Mmm, now he is even guaranteed to die."

Feng had an extraordinary sense of hearing so he could pick up a few of these sentences. He completely ignored the offensive ones and focused on the history of this man in front of him.

'He used to be an elite of the sovereign rank, who was skilled in close combat, even if he is crippled, I cannot underestimate him. If I do, the only result will be death.'

He shook his head, grinned, and cleared his mind of all thoughts, all the while rushing towards the hellhound who didn't dear go too far from its master, who kept his staff up.

"esu etalosed llaberif"

The magic words coming out of his opponents formed golden words in the sky. These words dashed towards the hound and landed on it.

Spell circles appeared at the slowly opening maw of the hellhound, and a fiery orange flame flew out of its mouth towards Feng, who only scoffed and thought.

'You want to play with fire in front of me. If you lived with a living torch for a while, you would have understood these baby flames are nothing.'

He held both blades forward and gave a slash towards the incoming flames, lightning and thunder crackled around the blades and wholly ignored the fire instead of heading towards the caster.

Like the flames, the lightning felt like a child's play towards both the caster and his summons. Feng realised he couldn't let this opportunity go to waste. Not every gold rank would get the chance to fight even a crippled Sovereign-class, who had the skill of a jade rank combatant.

Feng's grin became even more extensive, and he circulated the energy in his blades, his footsteps became lighter and soundless, the lightning around the blade became white and emitted a powerful aura. His opponent, who didn't speak previously, now spoke a few words.

"Oh? Is that primordial lightning I see there? No, it isn't quite there yet, it should be half-step Primordial lightning."

Feng's crazed face had already reached the hellhound and rain a barrage of attacks on it, the half-step primordial lightning flew everywhere illuminating the surroundings and falling like rain on the floor.

The only victim in this fight was the floor after the half-step primordial lightning fell on it, the stage was completely covered from view by the dust, and the crowd wondered what was going on.

A limping silhouette appeared from the dust and revealed himself to be Aether Servant.

He then yelled towards the side where Feng stood with the blades in hand.

"I'm not done yet!"

"Emoc Htrof enivid milihpen!"

A portal emerged from thin air and gave off a more ancient aura than the last, the arcane energy in Aether Servant's staff was rapidly sucked towards the portal in a never-ending stream.

The stream of energy heading there was suddenly cut off, and the world became dark. The portal was there in the air, began rapidly spinning and burst into an explosion of lights. Humanoid body parts slowly emerged from the portal and into the outside world.

When the full body was out, what now stood in the place of the portal was a youth with Brown hair, green eyes and black bat-like wings, this youth was devilishly handsome, and he had white jade-like skin. If anyone touched it, they would find soft skin.

The youth in the air looked back towards the summoner and asked.

"Why did you summon me?!"

"Master Amon, I need your services, please help me."

Aether servant said this while bowing his head. One could only wonder what sort of background this youth had that even a former sovereign would have to bow his head.

The youth responded with a devilish smile on his face.

"Keke, last time I took your ability to cultivate, this time I am not so sure you will survive with your life. After all, you know the price of summoning me."

"Yes, master Amon."

Listening to the conversation, question marks flew around Feng's head, and he heard the sighing of Damon.

'What's wrong, Damon?'

[Nothing boy matters of the past, just make sure you deal with this Amon fellow, I know who he is, and if he discovers you, I can assure you there will be no use for the nadis I will get in the coming weeks.]

'Hmm, I see.'

Hearing this Feng focused all his attention on the match ahead and begun emitting dangerous killing intent, and the only thoughts in his mind were:

'This man is a threat that needs to be eliminated.'

The fight had now advanced to a whole new level.
