Blue Moon guild.

Her tone was so cold that even Edwyn shivered. It was the first time he saw the young woman looking that angry, and he was pretty sure it has nothing to do with the man's words. Since the beginning of their search for a blacksmith, she seemed to have a specific grudge against Craft Association and Edwyn still hadn't figured out why.

He could have directly ask her, however he was clearly too shy to do that. Maybe it was something personal, like a painful memory for example. What if his question made her even more upset?

The man in front of her snorted with haughtiness, as if he didn't take her seriously.

"And what if I was little girl? What are you gonna do, hmh?"

It was at this moment Edwyn knew, he fucked up.

Aelya looked at the young boy, and this one knew it was time for him to take a risk. She was waiting for his order, and what will happen next will entirely depend on him.

The young woman will obey whatever he'll say next, however he had to take position. Even if they had already kill a few of those men before, what will happen next would change the situation.

Edwyn looked at her. Her eyes were focused on the man before her, and her gaze was full of hate.

"Kill them." The young boy finally took his decision and Aelya immediatly acted. She jumped on the chief and used a [Shield Bash].

The bald man didn't see it coming. After all he was still in the town a few minutes ago, advertising for his crafter association when one of his guys started complaining. He said that someone dared attack us, Smith & Weapon. There was one thing that this chief like above everything, and it was to show off. And this was the perfect occasion to show off, that's why he decided to resolve this problem by himself.

To think that someone would dare to attack them, a crafter association! Nowadays everyone were afraid of them and no one would never make any trouble with them, even when they pushed things too far. They could casually take all the available spot in one area and nobdy would raise an eyebrow! That was the might of his crafter association!

The chief didn't ask fot any information, he gathered his friends and directly came in the crevasse, looking for the troublemakers. And what did they find? Two girls running around with a few goblins? Was that a joke? He expected more than this! At least a few dozens of guys, who would kneel before him when he would announce to them who he was! That would have done a perfect scenery.

However things were like that and impress a few girls was still better than nothing. Moreover, it was even possible that after hearing his speech, they would do anything to gain his favor!

But who would have thought this woman would jump on him like a shrew? She even used a spell on him!

And the spell was almost the last thing he saw, just before a dynamite rain. This was the same things for his friends who rushed to help him get ride of the female warrior.

Edwyn closed his eyes. Seriously? Didn't they ask their coworkers about the details of their death before coming here?

There was a few screams amidst the explosion noises and nothing more. When the smoke scattered, there was nothing left.

Aelya bursted into laughter. It was a carefree laugh, so pleasant to hear and the young boy knew he took the right decision.

Wallace stopped mining and turned his head, looking at the scene before him with a stunned expression.

"Did you just... wipe out Stephen, the head of the crafter association Smith & Weapon?" He asked with a stuttering.

"Who?" Aelya answered while killing the goblins behind her.

"The bald guy with a beard, that was Stephen!"

"Your former employer?"

"Yes, this one!"

"That might be the case then. But shouldn't you be a little bit more grateful?" The female warrior asked with a playful smile.

Wallace was lost for words. Were those guys totally insane? Was that really a good idea to be associate with them?

"Oh, we got a few more rare ores! We got 20 now!"

Edwyn came closer and looked at the loot.

"It dropped pretty quickly, this is a good new."

Wallace almost dropped his pickaxe. Couldn't you be a little bit more concerned about the situation?!

"Wallace are you done with your mining?" Aelya caught his gaze and asked him. He blushed and shook his before starting his work again.

"What a strange guy." The woman whispered, making Edwyn smile.

"I think he may be regretting hanging around with us. Our display earlier may have frightened him."

"If that's the case then he's a coward. What were we supposed to do? Let those guys do whatever they wanted and kneel before them? I rather die."

That again, this wrath against the crafter association. Edwyn began to wonder. What could have possibly happened?

The young boy kept his questions for himself and limited himself to heal Aelya while she was killing goblins. Stephen and his friends didn't came back for a while and monsters respawn where there was no more soldiers. This way, the crafter association would have to kill them in order to reach them, giving them a little bit of peace.

During this time, Wallace managed to level up his miner job, allowing him to also get rare ores on the deposits, although there was less chance to obtain it by this way. Killing goblins was still more profitable, but it was better than nothing.

All those dead monsters also allowed Edwyn and Aelya to level up too, reaching the level 4. There was still nothing more that additional stats.

"Say, milady Aelya, will I get spells by leveling up?" The young boy finally asked.

"Not from what I know. Apparently you have to do special quest or loot spell books."

"Does this mean I'm gonna be stuck with my only heal spell for a while?"

"Not if we loot a spell book suitable for you!"

Edwyn frowned. This type of answer wasn't really what he wanted to ear. Knowing that your only way to have more spells only depended on luck wasn't a good new at all.

"Say guys, isn't it too... quiet now?" Wallace asked.

Edwyn looked at the surroundings and indeed, there was no more sounds besides the goblins.

"Where are the miners and the soldiers?"

The young boy had a bad premonition. Aelya said earlier that they needed to work as much as possible, so it wasn't logic that they stopped mining.

"Did the goblins killed them?" Aelya suggested.

"I don't think so. It may be a trap." Wallace interjected. "So what do we do now?"

The two of them slowly turned their head to look toward Edwyn.

"Wallace, you keep mining, the more ores the better. In the meantime, we are going to slowly come back to the entrance of the crevasse. Since we are alone in this area, let's take our time to kill the monsters. If they are waiting for us in ambush, it will be better to make them wait a little bit more."

The two players nodded together and each of them took position, Wallace with his pickaxe, Aelya with her shield.

Going back to the stairs took them an entire hour, which allowed Wallace to level up once more and Edwyn and Aelya to get more rare ores and a good amount of experience point.

There wasn't anyone waiting for them at the bottom of the stairs, so they decided to just climb up and see what will happen.

The three players weren't disappointed : the entrance of the crevasse in the plains was completely surrounded by players. They were forming a perfect circle, preventing them to try to escape.

And in the middle of the circle, his arms crossed in front of his chest, Stephen was looking at them with a joyful smile and an evil glint in his eyes.

"So you finally decided to leave your hideout and face your fate!" He spat as soon as they appeared.

"Who was hiding? You leave the entire place for us, who would be stupid enough to not take advantage of the occasion?" Wallace mocked.

"You shouldn't open your mouth Douglas, you're gonna regret opposing us! Look at you and your friends, full of yourself. You may think that you were able to win against us, but killing a few of our members amount to nothing. And you know why?"

"Does he really need us to answer his monologue? I'm pretty sure he exercised himself during all this time, it must have been tough!" Aelya whispered, loud enough for Stephen to hear.

The bald man blushed and a vein popped on his forehead.

"You won't laugh too long woman! Because of you, our work was delayed and our client is angry! So angry that he said you were gonna pay for this!"

"Watch out pretty boy, it's the moment he finally announce the name of his boss!"

If a gaze could kill, Aelya would surely be dead a dozen of times.

"Still so pleased with yourself? I'm curious to see how you are going to keep your pretentiousness when you'll know we are working for the Blue Moon guild!"

Stephen pronounced the last words louder and indeed, Aelya stopped smiling. Her face became serious and her gaze more focus.

"Did you say "Blue Moon guild?" She asked him, her hand gripping the handle of her axe.
