Distraction

"How should we distract her?" I whisper to Lei, making sure my volume is low enough to where Nelle cannot hear me. She is still diligently working away at her desk, and blocking our way into the Headmistress' office. Damn her and her work ethics.

Once we saw her, we double backed and huddled together in a corner much farther down the hallway from her so we could form our plan. Morwenna left a couple of minutes ago, so the longer we take to work it out, the less time we have to snoop through her office.

"I can put her to sleep," Lei whispers back, but I shake my head. Morwenna is too crafty, so we shouldn't underestimate Nelle either. And I have a feeling a trick like that would be too simple and she would find her sudden sleepiness questionable.

"A stomach ache?" He asks, and I don't like that one either. Although it's closer to what I think we need.
