Battle at the academy pt. 11

I fall to my knees and Morwenna rushes to me. She sits in front of me and places her hands over my own. 

"We are almost out of time, so I need to explain the rest and I need you to hear me. The only way we can get you through this is if we make sure he can't find you and use you." 

"Who?" I ask quietly. 

"Fenrys."

A scornful snicker escapes me, but she chooses to ignore it. She likely thinks that I am too overwhelmed and am falling apart, which is true, but is only part of the reason. 

"We need to set it up so everyone thinks you've died and then get you out of here. I was going to stage your death in another way, but now we need to make it seem like you died at the hands of the demons during today's invasion instead. We can take the opportunity that is in front of us. Layla Gibbous needs to die at Alpine Crescent Academy, and then your new life can begin."
