Kelly frowned slightly as he looked at Feron. The vampire was sitting cross legged next to his sisters bed and it seemed like he had been waiting for him to wake up. Kelly stretched and rubbed his eyes to wake himself up, ignoring the strange man for a second. He yawned loudly and ran his fingers through his messy hair. He actually managed to have a proper night's sleep.
"You know, waking up to a vampire watching me sleep would be alot creepier if I didn't know you," Kelly pushed the covers away and swung his legs off the bed, righting himself into a sitting position.
Feron only smirked and chuckled in response, his red eyes shamelessly ogling Kelly's bare chest.
Kelly's cheeks were tinged pink as he caught the look in the vampire's eyes, "Don't even think about it. I don't want a repeat of last night. Speaking of which, where'd you run off to last night?"
Feron's brows furrowed as if thinking about something deeply upsetting before his expression reverted to the smirk he had before, "I went to get you this." He held up a silver chain with a small circular pendant hanging from it, "It'll help you suppress that troublesome aura of yours." He held it out for Kelly to take.
Kelly hesitated for a second and then took the chain, looking at it skeptically before shooting Feron a surprised look, "Where did you get this? My family has been trying to get a witch to enchant one for me for years!"
Feron only smiled, not answering the question. He had to pay quite alot for that small trinket. It costed him more than a tenth of his bank account, which was no small sum, a vile of his blood and a favor. But he wouldn't tell that to Kelly.
Kelly granted him a beaming smile and a heartfelt "Thank you!" before putting on the necklace, "Is there anyway I can repay you? I really couldn't just take this, it must've cost you a fortune." Kelly was nervous as he waited for Feron to say something.
Feron tilted his head to the side as if thinking about it for a second and then he answered, " Well... there are two things I'd like to ask for, but you can say no to them if you do not wish to fulfill my requests."
Kelly bit his lip a bit, caressing the necklace as he thought about it, "What do you want?"
"Well, first, I want you as a friend. I want to be around you. I know you prefer to keep your distance from people but I hope I can be an exception...." He paused, gauging Kelly's reaction.
"That's ok.... I don't really mind being around one or two people. I just hate attention when it's a crowd. Usually people are only looking at me because they have to, they can't really help it, and I hate that. The more attention I get, the more likely it is that I'll hurt someone...." Kelly frowned and shook his head as if dispelling negative thoughts. "Anyways, what's the other thing you want?"
Feron didn't answer right away. His next request was ridiculous. He didn't even know how Kelly would react. He sighed and decided to just go for it.
"I want to experience what its like to be more than friends with you. Without your powers as an Incubus clouding my judgment."
