The next couple of days, Robin spent mostly in bed she was in too much pain to move about. Ms Patch helped her too and from the bathroom and brought her food when needed. She didn't see any of Mr Caldwell, which was a blessing in Robin's eyes. She had asked Ms Patch where he was, but Ms Patch had been funny about answering advising that Mr Caldwell was just out on business, but she had seemed shifty when she had said.
Robin has slept so much over the past couple of days, that by Wednesday morning when She finally felt more human and rested. It wasn't long after she woke up before Ms Patch entered the room, she looked a little more unkempt than usual as if she had been up all night.
"Good morning Miss Giggs I trust you had pleasant sleep." Ms Patch had a small slender frame, she was a woman in her late 40's she had ebony hair with silver streaks of grey passing though it. "What should I fetch you for breakfast?"
"I... I, Ms Patch I'd like to eat elsewhere today if that's okay?" Robin asked it was at that point that she realised that she had no idea what was on the other side of the door, these past few days she had been refined to just these two rooms. Not that she been awake much to even see the two rooms she had been in.
"Of course Miss! Let me just get you something a little more decent to wear. I'm sure the doctor will want to check in on you as well make sure you are well enough to get about."
"My dress will do...!"
"Your dress? When Mr Caldwell arrived that night. You were not wearing any clothes deary."
"WHAT?!!" Robins's cheeks filled quickly with blood! Not only had a MAN seen her naked for the first time, but she also didn't remember the experience and the man was no ordinary Man it was Mr Calwell!!!
"It's okay Miss, Mr Caldwell had saved your dignity, he had wrapped you in his shirt... he said your dress had been destroyed in the accident".
Robin wanted to cry, every word that was coming out of Ms Patch's mouth was just making her feel more embarrassed. Mr Caldwell was the Godly man, the man she thought rescued her. Robin knew she had been an idiot for thinking it was someone else, but how did someone so scary as Mr Caldwell make her feel as safe as he did?
"Miss are you alright, are you sure you feel strong enough to come down and eat?"
Robin who had been lost in her own world looked quickly at Ms Patch and nodded, she needed to get moving the quicker she could prove to Mr Caldwell she had recovered, the quicker she could go home, and leave this whole mess behind her.
Ms Patch disappeared to fetch Robin some clothes, while Robin took a shower, Robin had discovered the day before that the shower was just as pleasing as the bath with its giant showerhead for the rain effect and the many jets the whole shower felt like an expensive massage. The shower like the bath had so many shower gels and cleansers that Robin felt like a kid in a candy store. If she was going to be forced to stay in the devil's house, she was going to make the most of the lotions! Once she had finished washing, Robin grabbed one of the soft warm white towels wrapping herself up tightly before she walked back into the bedroom.
Ms Patch had placed some clothes on the bed for Robin but it wasn't that, that caught Robins eyes when she walked into the bedroom. It was the figure who was standing next to a pile of clothes himself, Robin walked in just as Mr Caldwell was doing up the last button of his trousers. He was still shirtless, the scars on his chest matching the scars from the godly creature that had rescued her. Robin could see a clean pressed shirt hanging off one of the chairs. Robin's cheeks flushed pink again if she had been a one minute earlier she would have seen more then just a shirtless man.
"What are you doing ?!" Robin yelled did this man have no shame? Mr Caldwell looked up and his eyes flashed as a smirk spread over his face.
"Sorry did you want me to take them off?"
