White Werewolf

"A few days ago, Samantha was nearly compelled by someone, but luckily she was wearing a vervain necklace. I wondered why she possessed such an item, but now that I finally met you, I'm guessing that she's also a white witch," Caleb said.

Marielle, Samantha's mom, instantly shook her head, "She's a mix blood," she said, "A werewolf and a white witch," she added.

"Sabrina's father was a werewolf, the alpha of his pack and I'm a white witch. We fell in love, got married and we had Sam. She was the biggest blessing in our life. Her father loved her so much that he risked his own life for her safety," she started.

"What happened to him?" Caleb asked curiously.

"He was killed by a pack of rogue wolves," she answered, "Samantha is no ordinary werewolf Caleb. She is the white werewolf," she added.

Caleb's eyes instantly grew in shock, "You mean she's…" he said.

"Born the strongest among all," Marielle said.

"But... how come?" Caleb spoke in shock.

The White Werewolf was known to be the alpha among alphas. According to the Lycanian Prophecy, a white wolf was born every 1,000 years. The Lord of the werewolves, Lycaon, bestows this power to anyone he thinks is deserving of it and who he thinks can handle the responsibility. He picks the person according to his own will. There is no certain rule from being the white werewolf.

The White Werewolf is no ordinary werewolf. Different from an ordinary werewolf, a white werewolf is bestowed with one of the four elemental abilities.

The ability to control either the fire, water, land or air.

Lycaon created the white werewolves to be the ruler of righteousness among the werewolves. But for the last 500 centuries, no white werewolf has been able to fulfill his/ her responsibility.

Due to greed and envy, almost every white werewolf alive has been killed. Because of the power they possess, a lot of supernatural beings see them as a threat. Hunters, Vampires, and Werewolves, all of them didn't like the existence of someone much more powerful than them so a lot of them joined forces to kill each and every one of them.

"I guessed that it had something to do with her being a mixed blood. On the day that I gave birth to Samantha, Lycaon visited us. He warned us about the dangers we might face because of Samantha," Marielle recalled, "Me and my husband didn't have any idea on what Lord Lycaon meant, that's why I performed a spell on Samantha. That's where we knew that she was born as the white wolf," she continued.

"Does Samantha know?" Caleb asked.

Marielle shook her head, "She doesn't have any idea on what she is and on what I am. She doesn't have any knowledge about the supernatural world Caleb," she answered.

"But why didn't you tell her? She's almost 18. Her wolf side will eventually show up."

"I wanted her to live a normal life Caleb," she said, "It wasnt easy for us to live normal like this. We are constantly hunted by hunters, vampires, and werewolves. They want to kill Samantha because they see her as a threat and her father died protecting her. I don't want to lose her too."

"Then I guess your peaceful life is about to be disturbed now," Caleb suddenly said.

Marielle instantly raised her brow upon hearing Caleb, "What do you mean?" she asked.

"Yesterday, I was strolling around your neighborhood and I noticed a man standing in front of your house. I'm guessing that the man was a hunter because a strong smell of wolfsbane was coming from his clothes," Caleb said.

"I guess we have been found," Marielle spoke in worry.

Ever since her father died, she and Samantha have been running from almost every supernatural being. Given that Samantha wasn't born normal, the higher people of the supernatural world wanted her dead.

She was born the strongest and it threatened them.

"Don't worry auntie, my pack and I will protect the both of you," Caleb held Marielle's hand, "We won't let anything happen to you and Samantha," he said, "If you will permit me and my pack, we want to guard the both of you for at least a week. Don't worry because we're going to stay outside,"

Marielle suddenly smiled at Caleb, "Tell me Caleb," she said, "Why do you want to do this for us?" she asked him.

Caleb's face instantly turned red.

Was this the part where he asks for Samantha's hand formally?

He wasn't used to doing these things.

"Actually…" Caleb cleared his throat, "I like your daughter auntie," he confessed. He looked down to avoid Marielle's eyes due to embarrassment, "I want to protect her, especially now that I know her identity, threats will always be around her," he said.

Marielle patted Caleb's shoulder, "I'm really happy that my daughter has someone like you," she smiled, "I permit you and your pack to stay here for a while, but if danger arises, I and Samantha won't have a choice but to move away. I hope you know that," she said.

"I understand, we will do our best to protect you," Caleb answered her.

"Why are you guys so quiet?" Samantha popped out from the stairs, "Are you guys even talking?" she spoke in frustration.

"I'll take my leave for now auntie. We'll be back by 8 PM," Caleb said as he stood up from his chair.

"Okay, I'll make dinner for everybody," Marielle responded.

"Excuse me, who is eating dinner here?" Samantha asked but nobody responded to her question.

"We'd be grateful for that," Caleb smiled at Marielle before he left.

Samantha immediately chased after Caleb as soon as he stepped out of their house.

She grabbed Caleb's sleeve, "What did you tell my mom?" she asked.

"Why are you curious?" Caleb smiled playfully at her.

"Just answer my question," Samantha vexed but Caleb didn't mind her.

He stepped forward and hugged Samantha, "See you at dinner," he told her. Caleb winked at her before he left which made Samantha's heart skip a beat.

She just stood at the same spot, frozen, staring at Caleb's figure which slowly disappeared from her sight.

"The hell was that," she whispered to herself.
