Haa!"

wretched cry sounded out in a deserted mansion.

Jaune swung his sword in its sheaths for the thousand time this mourning, gasping and swallowing large gulps of the chilly morning air.

"Man the training is so good in this environment " Looking around the empty Garden in a daze, he mumbled to himself as he gradually regained his breath.

Jaune picked up his phone and glanced at the time. It was already 8 a.m.

"OH, RIGHT! What happened to the Eel from yesterday? Could it have escaped by now?"

Jaune smacked his head, annoyed at his forgetfulness, as he hurried toward the kitchen.

Yesterday, shortly after catching the Eel, he had been scared silly by the appearance of the Myriad Heavens Fishing System and thus temporarily forgot all about the Eel. As for after that, he was surprised by gigantic chicken. Eel or not, how could he possibly have any attention to spare?

"Eh? It didn't escape?" Jaune exclaimed as he saw the Eel lying motionlessly within the basin.

The water level in the basin was not high at all. As long as the Eel thrashed about for a bit, it would be able to quickly restore its freedom. However, perhaps due to the fact that it had expended a lot of energy on the previous day, it actually remained within the basin...

"En, it's good that it didn't run. I'll put it in a bigger pot of water , I hope I don't forget to feed it , well it's not I am in urgent need to eat it now that I have the chicken meat , might as well leave for mom to cook it she always loved cooking exotic dishes " Jaune mused to himself. He covered the basin with a lid and left the mansion, taking the Eel with him.

The morning sun was not strong. When its rays fell onto his body, it felt warm and gentle instead. Jaune played some music with his scroll while he worked out, it's not like it will ever run out of power since he can always use his semblance amplifi the capacity from the energy source.

After an hour of shadow boxing, and another two of hard physical training he begun doing some aura control exercices, while using his semblance to heal the damage done to his body.

'Man my semblance is really broken, from what Roman told me 2 days ago, I believe I am already as strong as some huntsman in training at beacon, and that's all thanks to my aura reserve and now my semblance, I don't even know if I need to go to Beacon if I continue like, after all I do not need to become a huntsman to be a hero, all I need is strength, friends would be nice too, and I think I can count Roman and Neo as friends. Still my mind feels tired unlike my body, I'll take quick a quick shower and then eat something then I can go meditate to rest my mind a little'.

Expelling the tiredness out of his eyes by shaking his head, he picked up the bucket and drew some water from the well to wash himself. After washing himself he goes eat some chicken then goes meditating.

"Whaa.. what happened , Ah, I must have fallen asleep while meditating again hahaha, man I need to stop that, Hmm let's see if the grimm are still doing a siege to the mansion."

checking the house surrounding he found that the grimm returned to whatever they were doing.

" guess I'll go hunt some grimm, before going back here , man I am loving this mansion more and more"

The hunt was great,first it was two packs of beowulfs and there alphas the first pack it was six in total then the second with 9 in total, then it was Boarbatusk but it got a little dangerous when a death stalker came to join it , it would've been close if not for my semblance.

By the time He came back, he was hungry again . As it was quite late, Jaune took a quick bath then eat some of the chicken before going to the well again.

"Now that everything's taken care of, I've finally got some time to waste..."

Thinking of the possibilities, Jaune felt a surge of anticipation. He picked up the Purple Bamboo Fishing Rod and headed toward the Ancient Well.

After digging around for a short while, Jaune grabbed a fat, greenish-black earthworm, ran the hook through it, and cast it into the well.

A Crocea Mors by his side, gleaming brightly in the sunlight. It was prepared in advance to fend off any possible danger that might pop out of the well.

'Eh? There's some movement! Jaune knew that he had caught something and hurriedly reeled the line in.

"YIN!"

"WOW! What an enormous fish!"

Looking at the huge fish that had emerged from the well, Jaune exclaimed in delight. He was so shocked that a beowulf paw would likely fit into his gaping mouth.

'This fellow lives in the water...so it shouldn't be so strong since it's on land now, right?'

Jaune felt some butterflies in his stomach. However, he swallowed his nervousness and proceeded to carefully pull the fish out of the well.

Oddly enough, this fish was obviously weighing at least around a hundred catty, and yet the weight coming from the Purple Bamboo Fishing Rod was only several tens of Kgs!

'Man it Looks like there are still some other functions in this Purple Bamboo Fishing Rod,' Jaune thought silently. This should not be something to feel surprised about. Any product of the Myriad Heavens Fishing System was guaranteed to be a top-quality one!

Jaune laid the huge fish on the ground and started to inspect it. The smell of the seawater was especially obvious.

'So it's a sea fish...no wonder it can grow to such a size!' Jaune mumbled softly. He felt a little regretful about this. If it turned out to be a freshwater fish, he could still put it in a tank and rear it. However, as it wasn't, he could only kill it immediately he had some Ice Dust lef over hopefully some usage of his semblance could solve the problem.

Jaune picked up his sword and, without any hesitation, slashed it at the fish's throat. The poor fish could only open and close its mouth, gasping at the air in vain, unable to struggle at all. It was just as if it was bound by some mystical strength, causing it to be completely unable to move.

Jaune pulled out the hook after making sure that everything was fine.

The moment the hook was removed, the huge fish immediately started thrashing around crazily on the ground!

In the end, however, this was nothing more than the poor creature's death throes. Finally, after a long time, its movements completely ceased.

Jaune went to the basement he found yesterday, took the Ice Dust and begun using his semblance on it, he did so for few seconds before the dust begun looking unstable , it was enough he poured some aura on it and throw it inside then hide behind the wall of the basement.

a minute later he went inside again, all the walls are part of the basement is frozen, he is sure it will stay like that for more than a month, after all the first time he did the same to some dust while experimenting with his semblance was 13 days ago, and the place where he used the Ice is still frozen till he went on his last hunt before ending here, of course he knows after all Junior is bothering with it almost daily.

Jaune cut the fish into three sections and stuffed them into the basement.

'this will do for the time being'

Jaune closed the door to the basement , before he started to clean the spare rooms he didn't clean yesterday, after helping your mom with the shores of the house for a better part of your life then your bound to catch a thing or two from here , and from those thing he is sure his cleaning habits come from her.after finishing his cleaning of the rooms he went to sleep for the night.
