Grandma(1)

As Mr. Vaughlan was detained by the military, news soon reached his family.

Someone knocked on their door.

"Mr. Vaughlan has been detained by the military at the 14th base. He has been arested due to his involvement in terrorist activities. Until then, he will be out of touch. "

There you go....and then the soldier exited without waiting for their response.

They couldn't even chase after him as when they had realised his words, he was already on his vehicle and left. They knew they can't question the person since the military was now involved and the society respects the military very much. It's not like they were the law..but you know the military's power right.

The following days, many other organisation were brought to light...each one was dangerous than the other. Some in other countries. But they were soon caught with the help of the country's military too. They had been exchanging intels since they found out about the Kraits.

Grandma's Villa---

Two jeep military vehicle rolled into the villa.

There were two person on the front.

Ansem got out of the drivers seat. Roger got out of his other vehicle.

All of them had gotten out. They were carrying many things in their hands. With their casual looks and their stunning military air around them...they couldn't look more captivating. I bet both men and women would fall for each of them hehe.

The maids opened the door, she was startled,"Y-Young Master..Young Miss, welcome home"

It has been years since they came to visit. They looked more mature and stunning and she couldn't help but look at them with awe forgetting her duties. She snapped out of it when her master called from upstairs.

"Who came?"

"Madam, the young master and the young miss is here,"she answered while taking the things from their hands. As a maid, she was very diligent and loyal, this was the first time she went into a trance, she cursed herself for it afterwards when she went away to the kitchen.

"My!! Ansem......Amber I missed you,"she was just turning to Ansem and the next moment she went to her grand daughter in law. Both Ansem and Roger were momentarily stunned. "The what?"

Amber didn't see anything, she just accepted the familiar warm bear hug from her grandmother. She had had no grandparents growing up so she really treasured her relationship with her grandmother in law.

"Oh who is this?", as she asked that, she could feel a bit of familiarity from him , he looked like the younger version of her younger son.

"He's Roger Grandma..your grandson", Ansem replied warmly.

She immediately went up to him and hugged him dearly.

Roger was stunned twice -one,his grandma lively as ever and seeing her he felt so happy.

Two, Ansem's soft speech, he never spoke that way except to Amber which he rarely saw since he didn't see them much but he knew he was like that to her and now his grandma...wow he kept discovering about this cousin of his.

He accepted his Grandma's tender and longing bear hug. He felt like he could cry.

Ansem saw that,"Don't cry big man"

"Who said so?! Im not", Roger retorted.

Grandma and Amber laughed. They could see the ambience around the two brothers...though they hadn't had much interaction when they were younger, they were still cousins and they knew each other well.

"Grandma we came here to stay for vacation,"Amber smiled sweetly.

"Vacation? It seems you finished another mission!", she exclaimed.

"Yes, it's the one on the news nowadays"

"Oh my..!! Were you guys injured? No casualties right?!"

"All of us were fine Grandma"

If she happened to mention what happened, she knew that her Grandma won't have the heart to take it. They spoke sitting down on the large living hall.

"Roger will be staying here too right?! "

"Yes, Grandma. I have a lot of things to catch up on with you", Roger smiled.

"Of course we do. That brat of a son of mine brought you here for like what? three four times when you were 10 and never came back!!", she complained and huffed.

Grandma was now in her late 70s but her attitude and personality made her much younger. Her styles were in every way graceful like a lady ..she was perfect and her complain just now made her very cute.

All the three others laughed. The maid who came to offer them fruits too smiled.

Grandma,"You have to prepare a big dinner tonight okay, Lia?! Make it the best!!"

"I understand, Madam."

Then she turned to Roger,"Since all of you are here. I shall assign you to your rooms okay. Ansem and Amber has their own room here. By the way, i bet you haven't met your younger twins right? I'll call them over tomorrow!"

The news of Mr Vaughlan's arrest were known only to the four people currently living in the family estate, it seems they haven't told their Grandma yet. It's better that way since Ansem wanted to be the one who told her.

They had a hearty dinner at night with lots of laughing and joyous mood.
