On a Beach With a Demon

Mia and Lucell landed shortly after they departed. The speed at which they traveled such a vast distance astonished Lucell. The wind was not kind to them on their journey and their clothes and hair were in tatters.

"I cannot believe we made it here so fast." Lucell told Mia. "This should have been a week's journey at least, but we flew here in minutes." Lucell stopped and took a look at Mia. Her hair was swept back and her dress was torn at every seam, revealing her body underneath. "Miss Mia, your dress seems to be ruined. Allow me to go through your bag and find you some new attire before we greet the King."

"Oh, thank you Lucy." Mia looked down at herself and sees the tattered dress. "I guess the trip really did a number on my dress." Mia then smiled and turned her attention to Lucell, whose clothing was also in tatters. "Looks like it was too much for your clothing as well. Do you have anything else to wear as well?"

"Sadly, I did not pack an extra set of clothing we left in such haste." Lucell answered. "The only other item I have is the one provided to me by the Goddess." Lucell said while digging through Mia's bag. "I have found you some garments. Please put these on."

"Okay." Mia said as she stripped out of her damaged clothing and went to pick up the new clothing. "Oh, this is a pretty dress! I still can't believe I wear things like this now. So much more comfortable than wearing those heavy suits of armor all the time. Oh, and pants were always a pain, the inseam always smashed my bits." Mia said while holding out her dress admiring it.

"Miss Mia, please dress yourself quickly." Lucell pleaded. "It is not good to stand nude on an open beach."

Mia then snapped out of her thoughts. "Oh right." She said as she put the dress on. The dress clung tight to her body showing off all of her curves. It was a bright red dress and had an opening to display cleavage. Mia pulled the dress down around her trying to make it tighter and then adjusted her breasts so that her cleavage was in the center of the opening. "There all dressed now." Mia said with a smile. Her hair still sticking up from the wind.

Lucell then pulls a brush out of the bag and some hair products. "Allow me to fix your hair, Miss Mia." Lucell said as he went towards her. As he began to brush her hair it got tangled in knots to which he just pulled harder.

"Ouch!" Mia screamed. "Not so rough! Here just let me do it." She demanded while taking the brush from Lucell. "You focus on getting yourself presentable."

"Right." Lucell said with a bow. "I am sorry, I did not mean to hurt you."

"It's fine." Mia said. "Just be more careful next time."

Lucell then pondered about what he could wear. Showing up in tattered clothing would be unacceptable and a sign of great disrespect. Lucell then sighed, accepting he must wear the Goddess's item she had given him. At least until he could procure additional clothing. He undressed and put on his speedo. His full muscular body was on display. He was very well sculpted. He exuded an aura of strength and elegance. "We should head to the palace, on foot. We wouldn't want to scare the locals with flight."

"That's a good point!" Mia agreed. "Maybe I should wear what the Goddess gave me so we would match and you wouldn't feel so odd." Mia said as she started to remove her dress.

"No please continue to wear your dress!" Lucell shouted. "It looks very becoming on you."

"Okay, if you say so." Mia answered as she fixed her dress on herself again. "Just doesn't feel right having you be the only one exposed like this."

"I am sure this attire is not all so strange in this kingdom." Lucell answered. "I am sure I still fit in. I learned a few tricks along the way." Lucell's skin color then changed to that of a normal human, and his horns disappeared on his head. "See now look like anyone else."

Mia looked over Lucell. "I doubt there are many tall muscular men in speedos, but if you say so Lucy."

Upon reaching the gate to the city they were greeted by the guard on duty. "Stop what is your business here." The guard shouted.

"We came to seek an audience with your king." Mia answered with a bow. "Please allow us to go and meet with him."

The guard paused and looked over Mia and then he looked over Lucell. "I guess you are one of those visitors." The guard sighed. "Go on through, I assume you already know the way to the palace."

"We will find our way, thank you." Mia smiled. Once they reached inside the city Mia turned to Lucell. "Lucy what do you think that was all about?"

"I couldn't say Miss Mia." He answered. "But we should remain on our guard, something does not seem right here."

Mia looked around and Lucell was correct. The entire city appeared to be deserted even though it was still just the early evening. "I wonder where everyone is." She said.

"We might find answers in the palace." Lucell answered. "Let's not waste any time."

Upon reaching the palace Mia and Lucell were greeted by more guards. "Halt what is your business?" The guards asked. They then paused and looked over Lucell. "Oh, it's that then." The guards then lowered their weapons allowing Mia and Lucell entry. "Please make your way inside and stay on your best behavior." They commented as Mia and Lucell walked past them.

"That was weird too right?" Mia asked. "We haven't explained who we are or why we are here but they continue to let us pass."

"It is quite troubling." Lucell answered. "Be on your guard, they may have the wrong idea about us."

"What do you think they are thinking?" Mia questioned.

"Well you are an extremely beautiful woman in an extremely beautiful dress." Lucell started. "They may believe you are here to have relations with the King.

"Ew!" Mia shouted. "He better not try to touch me."

"We must avoid an incident, so try to refrain from using force and use only diplomacy instead." Lucell instructed. "If you attack the King it will not bode well for an alliance and hurt your chances of gaining a rightful rule."

"The things girls have to put up with." Mia sighed. "Everyone wants to put their nasty…"

"Please refrain from vulgarities, Miss Mia." Lucell cut her off. "I know it must be hard, but please endure it."

Finally, after a long trek Mia and Lucell made it to the throne room of the King. There they found a middle-aged muscular man sitting on the throne. He had flowing black hair and beard. He had a golden crown upon his head and a golden spear in his hand. "Wow, that's the King?" Mia asked. "Poor Edward doesn't hold a candle to this guy." She whispered to Lucell.

"Remember to be on your best behavior." Lucell reminded as they entered the throne room.

The king watched them as they entered and walked in front of his throne. As they kneeled and lowered their heads, he spoke to them. "So, what brings you to my Kingdom?" The King questioned in a deep commanding voice. He then studied them both, noticing Lucell's attire. "Another one?" The King sighed. "Seriously how many suitors are they going to send before they get it through their heads." The King paused for a moment. "Look I am sorry they had you come all the way out here, and dressed you up like you are some piece of meat on display, but you have wasted your time. I am not ready to give up on my husband yet. Please just leave me to my grief."
