Chapter 12: Blue Flames

Taka: Right your training will start tomorrow, for now, I need to talk with the others

Jake: your gonna tell them about the colour of my flames aren't you

Taka: Of course we need to know what we are dealing with here

Jake: I know I also would like to know

With that Taka stood up and they both left the room, Taka walked down towards the main hall leaving Jake at the doors to the room.

Jake took his sword and left to go to his room to get some rest before his training started tomorrow, too ecstatic to get to sleep he just kept thinking about his powers, Jake stood up from his bed and went into the bathroom, standing in front of the mirror Jake only just realised how in shape he was.

Somewhat admiring himself in front of the mirror Jake then thought about activating his flames not fully knowing how, he closed his eyes and concentrated on them, then suddenly his body burst into flames once again, Jake opened his eyes and looked over his body once again which was now ablaze.

Jake: awesome

Jake then tried turning his flames off again just concentrating on it once again, with that his flames died out, Jake left the bathroom and lay down in his bed, closing his eyes and falling asleep.

Jake was woken up by knocking at his door.

Taka: Jake hurry up and get ready, this is important

Jake: Yeah course on my way

Jake got out of bed and got ready before opening his door to Taka

Jake: so what training are we doing first?

Taka: none yet

Jake: Okay, why not

Taka: the other masters would like to see you first

Jake: oh okay it's about my flames isn't it

Taka: of course

As they were making their way down the corridor Jake asked Taka some questions about the other masters

Jake: so where exactly are these other masters? I've been in every room in this place and have never seen anyone else

Taka: well that's hard to explain, see you are not even supposed to meet the other masters until your training was fully complete

Jake: so what exactly are they going to be looking for?

Taka: To be honest I have no idea, I guess to see if your flames are dangerous or not

Jake: I see

They reached the main hall and walked up to the fireplace

Taka: now as I said you should not be meeting them yet so you must never access this place until after your training, got it

Jake: sure got it

Taka pressed some hidden button behind the fireplace revealing a hidden door on the right side of it.

Taka: now follow me

Taka walked through the door which led onto a staircase that headed down, as they walked down the staircase finally hitting the bottom which opened up into a huge room with a massive stadium-like seating carved into the stone on one side of the room and the rest being empty, but with a single wooden chair in the middle.

On the seating, all 11 masters were sat staring down at Jake and Taka who had made their way to the centre by the wooden chair. Jake looked up at the masters seeing them for the first time, they all looked to be between their 40's to '80s, there were 4 women and 7 men.

???: Please take a seat

Jake was interrupted by one of the masters, a woman in the middle of them all in the biggest seat up there. Jake sat down on the wooden chair and looked back up at them

Taka then walked next to Jake

???: Now activate your flames

Jake looked at Taka in hesitation

???: Now Mr. Kynnersly

Jake closed his eyes and concentrated just like he did last night, once again the blue flames burst outwards and completely covered Jake's body.

All the masters stood up and looked down at Jakes flames in complete amazement, Jake opened his eyes and looked back up at them, seeing them all look amazed Jake felt at ease and continued displaying his dark blue flames.

They all started flicking through various books whilst all discussing with each other, Jake was not able to hear what they were saying, Jake stood up and shouted up to them.

Jake: So is anything wrong, or can I continue my training

As Jake shouted up to them they all stopped and looked at him, he sat back down on the chair as he did the same woman who was talking to him stood up and made her way down towards him.

As she approached Jake, a sudden bright light flashed from her body, almost as if someone activated a flare in the room, she walked right up to Jake

???: Hold out your hand

Jake did as she asked, as he did she quickly grabbed his arm that was still covered in his flames, she then sighed in relief and let go of his arm with the light disappearing from her body.

???: Right you can continue your training here

She made her way back up to the others who all seemed happy with the result, Jake deactivated his flames, stood up and headed towards the door with Taka who also seemed relieved.

???: We will not see you now until you have completed your training, I wish you look Mr. Kynnersly

The woman had shouted towards Jake as they had left the room, heading back up the staircase Jake and Taka discussed the training.

Taka: Well with that done we will now start your training

Jake: what exactly am I going to be doing in the training?

Taka: Well for starters I will teach you how to use your powers, starting with being able to activate your aura, which you seem to be able to do already

Jake: Is that what I'm doing?

Taka: Yes those flames all over your body is only your aura I will also teach you how to use these powers for offense, with also teaching you how to use your sword

They reached the training room and Jake was ready to start learning.
