Chapter 27: Released

Jake had spent the past couple of days researching books in the library, trying to find any information about how to stop the demons breaking out, whilst also trying to find anything about his powers.

All the masters were sat in the library all reading through books, Jake then stood up.

Jake: well, why don't we just release them now and fight them

They all looked at him and then back towards the books completely disregarding what he had just said

Taka: The issue there is that they don't actually possess a body, you see they need to take control of a body before they can fight

Gabrielle: Exactly right, currently they are sealed away in their capsules in their spirit forms, once they are free they will head out and take control of a willing body, offering them power, once they have they then will start a new war

Jake sat back down flipping the pages in the book, looking annoyed, jake grabbed a few new books

Jake: Taka I'm going to head back home and continue my research there, notify me if there is anything new

Taka: Of course I'll see you later

Jake then vanished from in front of him and made it back to his house, instead of continuing his research on how to keep the demons sealed away, he started more research in how to fight them, knowing it is going to be the one way to stop them.

Jake was interrupted by a knock at his door, as he answered he was greeted by his friends who seemed to invite themselves in.

Lez: So Jake what you doing tonight

Jake: I'm actually incredibly busy with work

They both glanced into the living room and saw all the old books scattered around the room.

Harry: What exactly is your job?

Jake looking panicked

Jake: Erm I'm a researcher

Harry: And what exactly do you research?

Jake: Just old war history, I help translate the books

Harry: Right

They both looked at each other confused but just accepted his answer

Lez: never mind then, well see you soon then yeah?

Jake: Yeah no problem, I'll message you when I'm free

They both left his house and Jake closed the door and sighed in relief, before heading back to the books.

A few hours had past and Jake had gotten through four of the books he had brought back with no luck in finding anything about his power or how to control it.

He was halfway through the next book when a small page mentioned his blue flames, saying they are an exclusive variant on the firepower, and only occurred to the strongest individuals, it also mentioned that more information about them is in the Book of Angels.

Jake was frustrated as he had no idea what this Book of Angels was but knew if he could get his hands on it he could learn more about his powers and how to control them.

Jake had been researching them for almost 2 days straight with no luck, back over at the monastery the masters were still trying to find a plan to stop the demons from being released or even being able to kill them now, with no luck on finding anything to help them.

They, however, did find a way of resealing them way using the same method they used before, which involved them being able to capture the spirits in flasks that were made.

The problem was the Demons would not possess actual bodies and would be able to get passed the masters if they were unprepared, Gabrielle had planned to reseal them as soon as they broke free before they were able to escape the monastery.

Gabrielle had met up with Taka in the library.

Gabrielle: Hello Taka, as you know we plan to reseal the Demons, this means we need all the help possible, can you contact Jake and tell him

Taka: Of course

Taka pulled his contact card out his pocket and make the call to Jake, as he was calling Jake a huge explosion came from beneath them, Taka and Gabrielle knew exactly what it meant and ran out the library meeting with the other masters who were already heading down the staircase.

As they arrived in the huge room through the smoke and Debris they could see 4 huge figures heading their way, all frozen with fear not knowing what to do some slightly stepping backward, Gabrielle stood forward.

Gabrielle: STAND YOUR GROUND, THIS IS WHAT WE TRAINED FOR

They all walked up to the side of her and readied their weapons, whilst also taking old flasks with etchings in them.

Gabrielle: They should be weak enough to be captured

All the masters prepared themselves for the fight all activating their auras and standing guard of the exit, making sure nothing could pass them.

As the smoke cleared the four figures had disappeared, the masters confused started to panic thinking they got passed them, that was until a purple glow from one of the corners of the room appeared and shot towards them all.

A purple ball hit the ground causing a huge explosion and disbanding their form, three of the masters charged at the corner thinking they would be charging into a fight, once they got where the purple ball came from they could not see anyone,

Turning back they could see the four figures standing behind the rest of the masters who were all on the ground, Taka stood with the Gabrielle and Eucliffe, not knowing what to do, the figures then charged another attack.

Each of them charging another purple orb which looked like it would be a more powerful explosion than the first one, Taka stepped forward to take the blow thinking he could handle it.

That was until he saw the first master charging ahead with her sword in both hands heading straight tin for an attack, the look on her eyes looked confident and composed and looked like she was not aiming for just one of them but was going for one big hit.

As she swung her sword towards them with her aura at full power in a slicing motion, she was stopped by one of the figures in the middle, this figure grabbed her sword out of her hands turned it around and stabbed right through her chest her aura deactivating as she fell to the floor.

Taka looked in shock at how quickly she was overpowered, the figures then blasted open the roof and disappeared, causing one last explosion as they blew the front doors open.

Eucliffe made his way to the other masters making sure they were all okay as Taka ran over to Gabrielle turning her over as she pulled the sword out of her chest she looked at Taka

Gabrielle: Thank you Eucliffe for your sword, Taka contact Jake quickly

Taka was shocked but glad she was okay and quickly pulled out his contact car once again and called Jake.
