Chapter 5 I Really Want To Kill You

(So will it work?)

[Yes, you should be capable of achieving your intended goal without much difficulty] great sage's voice echoed in the back of my head.

(Thank you great sage...also...please don't tell dad, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't condone what it is I'm going to do)

[The information will not be told to him so long as he doesn't enquire about it] I sighed at that.

(That's the best I'm gonna get, isn't it?)

[Yes]

"Alright, that's good enough I guess" I muttered to myself as I felt her break off the connection we were using to speak to each other.

"I'm going to make them pay for what they did...and I swear that I'm going to make sure they don't die peacefully" I hissed, my voice becoming much colder for a second.

I had just gotten done discussing a certain plan I had been talking about with great sage over the past hour or so. The plan definitely wasn't, well, let's just say that it's definitely not something a hero or a saint would think of. Anyway, I had just gotten done with this when I felt three people making their way over to me, I cursed under my breath when I realized who they were.

"Ex-excuse me"

Turning around I am met with the three individuals that thought it would be a perfectly great idea to come up and talk to me even though I'm clearly not in the mood to talk to some random group of people. The only one of them that I actually recognised was the guy at the front of the group, he is the one that dad asked to help with the orc lord incident by becoming a fake hero, he was with a girl and some other guy that I've never seen before. I can't remember the fake hero's fucking name for the life of me but I really don't care, the only thing about the three that got  my attention was the girl that stood behind the two guys.

"If it isn't the boy scout"

"It is nice to see you again, I wish it was in better circumstances though" the fake hero extended his hand but I just ignored him to look at the other two.

"I'm Grucius, one of the beastmen from Eurazania" the other guy introduced himself with a smile, giving him a quick look over. I noticed he had silver hair and eyes with lightly tanned skin.

"I honestly don't give a shit who you are" I said bluntly, causing him to flinch at how cold and somewhat hollow my voice sounded. My day hadn't exactly been sunshine and rainbows, so what the hell did he expect me to sound like?

Shrugging off the look Grucius gave me I looked over at the girl, the person who had caught my attention since they had all first come over to me. She had light green hair and eyes, she was wearing a mainly light purple outfit but also had a dark purple robe wrapped around her neck and hanging down her back.

"Lady Suu, correct?" She asked, she sounded and looked calm even while I was obviously glaring at her with very clear hostility.

"Yeah"

"I'm Mjurran" she introduced herself, however after she did a kind of awkward silence filled the hallway we were in, no one said anything else so the atmosphere became annoying real quick.

"What the fuck do you want you idiots?" I eventually grumbled, I was very irritated by the whole situation.

"It's...it's not what we want, it's what Mjurran wants to talk to you about?" Grucius sighed, sounding rather nervous.

"You don't have to do this" the fake hero cut in before Mjurran could say anything to me.

"Yes I do Youm"

(Oh right, that was his name) I thought to myself as I ignored the bickering of the three in front of me.

"Lady Suu, there is something I must tell you"

Mjurran then went on to explain the part she had played in the attack on tempest. She told me how she had been sent here by Clayman, how she had helped the attackers by putting up the barrier and how Rimuru had forgiven her because of the fact that Clayman had been controlling her with a fake heart-like thing. I listened through the whole story without saying anything, all the while I had my eyes active for any lies or bullshit in her words, there weren't any that I could detect.

"I can't apologise for what I did...I don't deserve that right" the atmosphere became tense after that but was broken when I let out a long breath of cold air.

"I already know..." that took them by surprise

(Did they really think dad wouldn't have told me about this?)

"Why didn't you just say that from the beginning?" Youm asked after a minute of confused silence.

"Because I wanted to see for myself, I wanted to know if she was telling the truth or just spitting bullshit"

"I should probably warn you though" I said, my voice  gaining a slight edge to it.

"Warn us about what?" Grucius asked becoming somewhat alert as he seemed to detect the slight amount of bloodlust that I was releasing

"Don't talk to me" it was then that Youm and Mjurran  also felt it.

"In fact if I were you I'd stay as far away from me as much as possible, at least until we have sorted all of this out"

"W-why?" Youm asked while taking a step backwards.

"Because..." It was then that I finally stopped holding it back causing my bloodlust and aura to pour out.

"Because I really, really want to kill you" the emptiness of my voice probably sent shivers through their spines as all three of them collapsed to the ground thanks to the pressure that now pushed down on them.

"Every part of me is screaming that I should rip you to pieces right here and now" my voice wasn't filled with hate, sadness, rage or anything like that while I continued to speak, it was just hollow and cold.

"Along with your two little boys scouts for even trying to protect a murderous bitch like you" after I said this the pressure on the three began to lessen as I slowly started to retract my bloodlust and aura.

"And the only reason your still alive, the only reason I'm not going to kill all three of you this very instant is because I know for a fact that you had no control over the situation and were nothing but a useless tool in the plans of others" my eyes were fixed solely on Mjurran as I continued to speak while completely ignoring the other two.

"But let me make this very, very clear"

"If I even find the smallest bit of evidence to go against that belief, well, let's just say you will wish that dad had killed you instead of letting you live"

"Now piss off, I'm done looking at you lot" I growled, causing the three to shakily stand up and leave without another word from any of them.

"I know your there, so just come out already" I muttered after the three got out of ear shot

"Thanks for not killing them" Rimuru said as he walked out from around the corner.

"Whatever"

"Suu..." he tried to say something but stopped himself.

"If you want to say something say it, I don't have time to stand around like this, after all Zeref and the others aren't gonna revive themselves"

"About that...I...I don't want...how the hell do I say this?" He sighed while rubbing the back of his head.

"You're trying to say you don't want me going out there with you and killing people, you don't want me becoming a demon lord because there's a chance the transformation could change me, right?" I had already guessed that he would eventually come to me about this, so I know what he wanted the moment he showed up.

"...Yeah"

"Listen...I get what your trying to do and I appreciated, I really do but...right now, at this moment in time I'm not in the mood to debate this with you" I was trying not to come off as angry that he wanted me to stay out of the fighting but I was failing in that task.

"I have no intention of backing out of this. Great sage has already confirmed that I have a demon lord seed or whatever it's called, so there is no problem there. Souei has also already confirmed that there are enough enemies for the both of us, there's around thirty five thousand of them after all. So in the end there is no reason you can give me that would make me back down from this" he tried to argue with that but I continued before he could.

"And besides Zeref is an abyssal creature, so his soul might work differently than the others. You also weren't the one that named him, so we don't know if you will be able to bring him back. Although I will admit for all I know you may be able to bring him back to life without any problems, however I'm not willing to take that chance just in case you can't revive him, after all, we only get one chance at this and I'm not willing to fuck it up" I had a point there, a point he honestly couldn't think of a come back for.

"You've...changed?" He didn't say it in a bad way, it was more like a mixture of surprise and concern than anything else.

"Well...taking part in a war, being a leader of an army, losing your friends and family, all those things are bound to change you at some point" I instantly noticed the massive amount of worry in his eyes when I mentioned something about war.

"You took part in a war! When?! What happened?!"

"I'll tell you about it another time, right now we have more important things to do then stand here and talk" I said as I began to walk away.

"You can't just walk away after dropping that bomb on me!" Rimuru shouted from behind me but I kept walking.

"...See you at the meeting dad"
