Rein then shook his head trying to deny the offer, "I ain't fit to be one."

"Perhaps are you thinking that you might drag your team down?"

"Yes, probably."

"Hayss.." General vrekerd sighed.

"I ain't fit to be a leader. You should try to ask Blast instead; he's a smart guy."

"What smart?! He's a coward like Craymark,"

"Then Derek."

"He's an idiot."

"Vishan then, I think he fits the title,"

"He's also idiot like Derek." General vrekerd then sighed in disbelief.

Rein then questioned General vrekerd, "Why does it have to be me?"

"Because you are special." General vrekerd replied instantly.

"Special?" Rein then thought to himself what's so special about him. He had a black hair and black irises, a little good looking, and yet nothing more.

There was nothing special about his life. Instead of calling it special, it was more miserable instead — he got disowned by his father, treated as a malicious stranger by his other childhood friends except Kim. Bullied by his teacher and classmates in the academy, but the worst of it all was her mother being brought to hospital, without him knowing what really happened.

General vrekerd then tried to cheer up rein's pale face and said, "I don't know what you've gone through rein, but you should know every problems always have a solution."

Rein then raised his lowered head,

"Wh — what do you mean?"

"I'm just saying don't give up. Don't give up so easily and conquer those problems that are bugging you."

Rein then chuckled and replied, "Are you trying to force me to become a leader just by comforting me?"

"Haha, busted," General vrekerd scratched his head. His old wrinkled face can be seen along when he laughs hysterically, but rein knew that it wasn't a fake one, it was a beautifully natural smile which is full of vigor.

General vrekerd then gaze at rein and said, "Rein, I know that this request is quite an foolish one of me. But I want you to take care of the other unawakened on the upcoming dungeon-raid."

Rein eyes widened, "Are — aren't you coming with us?"

"I wish I can, but I cannot, I'm just a palace general, or more likely a palace guard." General vrekerd said, "I can't leave this palace, for those are the king's order."

Rein then gaze at General vrekerd silently, he gazed at his lion's badge on his golden armor, and said, " So that's the meaning of the lion-sleeping-on- the-log badge huh?"

General vrekerd then replied, " Yes an palace guard. The highest rank guard."

Rein then tried to change the topic because it was too sad.

"so what will happen to the three Demon-boars that we've caught?"

"Ahh! that? Don't worry I ask my knight's to fetch it, and give you all unawakened, the credits for subjugating it."

"Credits for what?"

"Don't you want some credits for the upcoming tomorrow's party? You be brought on stage and awarded for killing a ninth-star Demon Boar!? Isn't it awesome?"

"Ninth-star Demon Boar? Damn so that's how the boar that I am fighting can breathe fire on its mouth while the others cannot."

"Hahaha… you sure is an unlucky brat. Wait, wait! You are the one that killed that Demon Boar?! Ho— how!??"

"That boar was so fierce, luckily it died from breathing fire. And that's how I manage to kill it."

"Mana exhaustion!? Thats— That's impossible!! Mana beasts are smart beings, they know when to attack and retreat, they are not as idiot as they seem to be. That's really impossible!"

"Well let's just say — that Demon Boar is an exception. There might be probably an idiot one right?"

"Hmm I really can't imagine if there are one, but it did happen, so I think there might be, probably."

Rein and general vrekerd then walked away from the fourth-floor. Rein were headed to his room while General vrekerd is trying to locate one of his knights to order them to fetch the Demon boars on the artificial realm.

Rein then proceeded to the room of the unawakeneds and as he opened the white long door. His friends were all busy. The boys are preparing their speech that can fish girls at the upcoming party tomorrow. While Carol is preparing her best outfit to wear.

Rein then approached blast, who was also trying to prepare his speech. So that he can also fish some girls.

"Umm, hello my beautiful sunshine. Won't you mind for an…."

"Hey," Rein interrupted Blast who was making his fishing speech.

"Oh shit! Damn what the fuck man, you're scaring me!" blast said, "what do you want from me again?"

"Ohh, I just wanted to borrow your glasses again."

"Fine, fine!" Blast handed his round glasses to rein.

"Thanks!"

Rein then instantly headed to his bed to his bed, but he remembered something about blast speech. He then dashed towards him again and said,

"Ahh blast!"

"What?! Can't you see that I'm busy here!"

"Ahh — actually your speech is wrong. The party will start at 6:00 P.M and the preparation is 1 or 2 P. M. So it's not sunshine."

"What!? Teacher vrekerd said that the party will start at one or two P. M."

"...."

"Had you seen the last party start with one or two P. M? It always starts at six, which is night. It is their tradition, where they can see star's around the sky."

"Then what will I change to my sunshine? Moonshine?!"

"Haha, you sure are becoming an idiot sometimes, ' just when in the state of being nervous. Change is to moonlight instead." Rein said while heading unto his bed again — reading some books that he found on the bookshelf just besides him.

Time passed quickly as rein read some language and instructional books of the different races. But the one that he is trying very hard to know about wasn't in there. He still cannot find any information about demons.

"Jeez I'm tired, just what the heck are they?" Rein thought to himself carefully, hence in a few moments he directly fell asleep.
