Body Refining

The answer was that First Alex was weak and had no family background and second there is police and law. After Alex saw his own memory he thought let's first get some death energy so I can integrate all the memories and don't have to look at the old Alex's memory for everything.

After some time he took some money and hailed a cab to go to the graveyard. There he met jack and jim again and asked

"Hello we meet again Mr. Jim can you lead me to where my father is buried."

Jim said " Yes come with me." while thinking that he must have been in too much shock when they took his fathers body and forgot to come with them and led the way.

After walking for some distance they got to the burial ground where all the body's are buried. Alex was very satisfied after sensing the death energy around him but his face still showed a sad expression and knelt down near his fathers grave.

After Alex saw that jim had left and there are no people around him he cracked a smile and started gathering the death energy and gray gas appeared around him but soom he heard some noise and stopped.

As Alex stoped an old granny came to him and said "Young man you have been kneeling here for half an hour whoever is buried here should have forgiven you and now you should go home."

Alex asked with a cold tone "who are you and how do you know that he would have forgiven me ? leave me alone." well Alex was distributed while cultivation so of course he was in a bad mood.

The old granny said " I am the caretaker of this graveyard and I have to make sure people have peace after they died."

Alex frowned and sensed for a while and then smilled at the old granny and said "Granny you make sure the dead have peace but are you yourself peaceful?"

The granny was confused and said "What do you mean young man?"

Alex said with a smile " Granny do you feel cold in your head and chest even in the blazing heat of the day and no doctors are able to cure you?"

The granny was startled and asked with a pale face "How do you know about this are you a doctor. And do you have a cure for me tell me I will give you anything if you can cure me."

Alex smiled and said with a grin "Granny you ate some corpses didn't you and no I am not a doctor but I can cure you and as for the cost of the cure it's your freedom you will need to work for me and sign a contract with me."

The old granny asked with a face more paler than before " How did you know that I ate a corpse? and how long do I need to work for the cure?"

Alex smiled and said " The first question is irrelevant as for the second one you will work for me till your death. Now tell me do you accept?"

The granny was angry and said "Humph it's just a little pain I can endure it I won't sacrifice my freedom for it."

Alex just smiled and said with a grin "Well then granny enjoy your freedom, but here is a kind reminder you don't have long to live so do all your unfinished work in this month."

The granny asked again " Are you telling me that I have only one month left to live. But I don't have any grave sickness or any injury, just a little cold and pain in head and chest how will I die I still have at least 10-20 years left to live."

Alex just said " it's only you who think you don't have a sickness, you are already infected with death energy look at your arms do you see those gray spots those are made of death energy, and in one month you will die and you only have one week to think about it I will come here regularly for one week and after that I won't cure you even if you beg me. Now leave me alone."

The granny left while grumbling, while Alex once again started absorbing death energy and saw the changes in his body first his cells began to wither and die and then they absorbed death energy and started to grow anew from death one by one the process continued until the sun began to set and Alex left while thinking

'Ah, it's a tedious and time consuming process to refine the body with death energy and create death channels that can carry death energy and store it, well atleast it will get my cultivation started'

After that Alex left for home when he was going back a fat boy with a broken arm stoped him in the way and said haughtily "Alex you basterd!! you attacked me from behind and broke my arm now I will have my revenge. Everyone beat this basterd up and break his arm too."

And then 7-8 well built boys came with menacing looks, Alex who saw all this smilled and thought

'Well here come one of the guys I will have to kill to settle the karma with old Alex, but for now I will let you live till I understand this world and it's law but I can have some interest till then'

then all the boys who came to beat Alex up sensed a chill in the air and Alex disappeared next came a boy's scream his arm was bent backwards where it wasn't supposed to, it was broken all the boys were scared and ran away but Alex only bloked Williams way and gave a innocent smile but to William it was a smile of a grim reaper .

Alex whispered in Williams ear "Thank you for pushing the old Alex over to the dark side as for your reward I will let you live for some more time enjoy it while you can."

and then Alex left to his home ate some dinner and slept till morning and then left for the graveyard and refined his body for one more day and came back to home and this cycle continued .
