Fury

I spent the rest of the day hiding from Jacen. I studied in my classes, did my homework, and ate in one of my classrooms. My teacher saw me when she came back from lunch and asked me what was wrong. I told her that guys are just jerks, and continued eating. After all my classes were done I ran out the door and headed for home. I had made it about half a mile down the road before Jacen pulled up next to me asking if I needed a ride. I told him, "I'm fine, maybe you should go check on your girlfriend." At that, he turned his face towards the road with a confused look on his face. He said, "I don't know what you're talking about, I don't have a girlfriend. Not yet at least." He smiled at me with that comment. I told him that I saw him with little miss perfect earlier this morning. He said that he wasn't seeing anyone. I stomped my feet stopping as I began slamming my foot on the ground as hard as I could. I turned to him and said, "Oh really?! you don't remember a tall, tan brunette with brilliant green eyes? Maybe that's too vague, how about the fact that she was wearing a tight white tank top that shows her belly button and jean shorts so short Daisy Duke wouldn't even wear them, remember how she hugged you and kissed your face earlier?!!" Jacen had stopped the moment I began to stomp, listening as I ranted. When I finished he simply said that that was his sister. I stomped and began to walk off when he said, "No really, look. He handed me a picture of two kids one was a blonde boy with blue eyes and the other was a girl with green eyes and one of the most crooked smiles I had ever seen. Though her teeth were crooked as could be her smile was still quite cute because of her youth. Jacen said that he was hoping to get to know me before introducing me to his family but he hadn't foreseen the current events. I slowed to a stop reddening from how stupid and embarrassed I felt. I couldn't even look up from the picture to look at him while trying to apologize for how I acted. He got out of the car and walked around to hug me and tell me it was ok. He said, "You know, I really enjoyed my time with you last night and I was hoping that I could see you again today. I looked everywhere for you, I almost thought that you hadn't come today due to the concussion. It wasn't till I saw your backpack in one of the classrooms that I knew that you had been there. I asked the teacher if she knew you and she asked if I was the jerk, I guess now I understand what she meant." I asked him what he was talking about I hadn't ever left the classroom not until I left. it was about that time that I realized that I was in such a hurry to leave that I never thought to grab my bag. I looked at him and just said, "Never mind. " He laughed and continued, "I knew that classes had ended already so you must have forgotten it. So, I grabbed it and ran to my car to try to catch you on your way home, and well, you know the rest of the story." I hugged him and he asked, "Now that all of that is cleared up, would you like a ride home?" I said, "That depends on how you answer a question." He said, "Ask away." I asked, "So did you really think about introducing me to your family after just one night?" He laughed as he said, "Of course, I couldn't possibly date a girl my mother didn't approve of, no matter how amazing she was." We both smiled and I giggled at the idea of him finding me so amazing. I got in the car with him and he began to drive down the road.
