Aokiji vs Ban and Akane (1/?)

The morning came swiftly and Ban and Akane were already waiting for the marine fleet to arrive. They could see them arrive in the distance, their blueish green ships coming closer and closer.

Luckily the log pose had already adjusted and Laffitte was making his way towards the next destination. He had handed Ban and Akane his vivre card, something he had on him since they met. It was a special paper that would point towards the owner of said paper, while also showing the life force of the owner. If injured, the card will slowly burn. It will recover when the owner recovers, but burn to ashes if the owner dies.

He hadn't told them how he got it, but made sure to let someone make a vivre card for them as soon as they arrived in the New world, the other side of the Grand line.

Akane watched as Laffitte sailed farther away, while the Marine fleet came closer and closer. The deck of the ships were densely populated, the soldiers standing in line and prepared to engage in battle. At the front, standing before the gathered soldiers was an incredibly tall man, reaching almost 9'8 feet. He had curly black hair, a sleeping mask on his forehead and he wore the cloak only admirals wore.

That man was supposedly Aokiji. Akane hadn't seen him before, but she'd heard stories of him and his fearsome devil fruit powers. The hie-hie devil fruit was a very fearsome logia type devil fruit, as it could freeze the opponent to death. Though the stories were often exaggerated, Akane didn't overestimate or underestimate Aokiji and would prefer to stay away from admirals until she was strong enough.

The fleet came closer and docked near the spot were Akane's ship had been. Kenzan Island didn't like marines, nor pirates and prefered if they stayed as far away as possible to avoid uproars in the city.

This made it that the marines were unable to enter the city in large numbers, or else the good reputation of the marines would take a hit.

A part of the marines entered the mountain, another entered the city in small squads, while the rest searched around the area as there weren't many places they could hide.

Not even planning to hide, Ban stepped forward with a big smile on his face as he without a care in the world walked towards the marine soldiers. He absentmindedly rubbed his sacred treasure as it rotated slowly in his hand.

Akane stayed hidden behind, but kept an eye out to guard Ban's back, while also trying to find an opportunity to jump in when the fight began and an opening was visible.

Aokiji stepped forward as well, while the marine soldiers pointed their guns towards Ban. While most people would feel pressured with so many guns pointed their way, Ban only showed a big grin as he really looked forward to this.

"Excuse me, pirate-kun. If you would tell me where your little companion is, that would be very appreciated." Aokiji said. He didn't seem to be very motivated as a very laid back and lazy attitude was shown.

"Now why would I do that, marine-san? I really looked forward to the challenge.~" Ban said as he scanned his weapon once more, adopting the same lazy attitude as Aokiji.

"Ara, ara. We can't have that. I was ordered to take custody of her immediately. If you don't tell me, there are other ways to find out." Aokiji said.

Without another word, the soldiers behind Aokiji began to shoot towards Ban, emptying their bullet cases.

Ban received all that was shot at him as the bullets passed through his body, creating many bloody holes in his body. Blood flowed out freely, as Ban cough up a little blood, though his characteristic smile was still on his face.

The soldiers seemed relieved when they saw their bullets hit, as they were a bit nervous after having seen the high bounty on Ban's head.

The soldiers all began to think. Isn't he a bit weak to have such a high bounty? We all riddled him full of holes, so he should've been very weak. He didn't even try to dodge.

As relieved smiles were shown, they quickly changed into shock and eventually horror. Right in front of them, the man they had made into swiss cheese, was healing right in front of them at an incredible pace. Steam was coming from his body as the wounds disappeared within the second, no trace of blood to be found. The soldiers looked at Ban in a daze as the thought they must've been hallucinating. They were sure they had riddled him full of holes, so why was he still standing there perfectly fine? The only indication that it had even happened were the holes in his clothes.

"That was nice~ It kind of tickled. You've had your turn, so I guess it's my turn next.~" Ban said with a big smile as his figure disappeared. He had been standing there and in the blink of an eye he disappeared.

The soldiers furtively looked around them as they drew their swords.

What followed was the sound of metal hitting metal. The marine soldiers looked to where the sound came from and saw their admiral clashing with the enemy. Aokiji held in his hand a ice blade with little blades of grass inside of it.

When the soldiers dashed forward to help their admiral, paines shouts were heard from the rear. They could see their comrades falling to the ground one by one, but they didn't see the enemy.

A soft giggle was heard from time to time everytime a man fell. The marines were being thinned out until a gap was made in the middle of the crowd, revealing a little golden haired fox girl, holding two bloody katana's in her hand.

An evil smile was on her face. Akane grinned widely, licking the her lips that had been partially soaked in the blood of the marine soldiers.

"My Ban is having fun right now, so don't interfere. I will let you play with this one, don't let me down." Akane said as she once again crouched down, an almost feral and cold look on her face. Her blades emanated an eerie feeling, the long katana emanating heat, while the wakizashi seemed to distort the space around it and aborbed the sound from around them.

"Let's dance, shall we?" Akane said as she dashed froward with and hungry look in her eyes.
