CHAPTER 13 The Capitan before her.

Elizabeth looked straight at the infamous Capitan Rea M. Poltan.

Elizabeth studied her for a moment. Rea had eyes the color of amber mixed with fire.

Her hair was a brownish redish tone shining beneath the beams of sunlight coming in through the clearing.

Her face had a long scar from her forehead that traveled down over her nose to her chin. It was a scar from a sword it was jagged. She had a bandana on her head the cloth.

Her clothing was also men's attire it was quite formal clothing though she was a pirate finally Elizabeth took a look at the heavy jacket weighing down on Rea's shoulders it look as if it was from a high ranking navy capitan.

Elizabeth sighed and renewed her grip on the musket and slowly slid it back into it holster. "I want to get out of this alive.... If that's okay with you." Elizabeth looked into Rea's eyes there was a slight amusement in her eyes as she lowered her musket and returned it to the sling on her back. " You asked this so it's only fair for me to ask. What are you doing here? Your usually sailing the seas and if your ever on land then your in a bar." Elizabeth tilted her head in question.

To which Rea reply " My son lives in this city." She paused and looked up at the sky. "He turns eight-teen this year...

His father wanted him to carry on his throne to the ship I now Capitan over."

Her gaze looked a bit sad for only a second, then let out a big smile.

" I've come to ask him to take a position on my crew until I'm sure he'll make a good Capitan... It's been a while since I've saw him. So I don't know if I'll be able to make him out in the crowd. So I've come to the place where he would come all the time when he was little..."

The sad look came back as she gaze at the willow tree, and she spoke up again.

" The resting place of his father, my husband...." she walked towards the lake and sat down. "Are you talking about, Capitan Robert S. Poltan?" Elizabeth came to the realization that she had the same last name of the Captain who gave his position to her after his supposed death. No one really knows what happened that day only the crew does.
