But by the time a actually made it to the city gates It was about sundown and I still hadn't figured it out, but then again, I still hadn't been inside the city.

As I walked towards the gate, I couldn't see anyone at the gate so I just walked up.

But a guard, that came out of absolute nowhere, stopped me.

"Halt, state you name!" the guard said

Name... What should I say, Fate had always called me Alpha, it was my designation, the name that everyone called me, but in all honesty... I sort of missed being Logan Harrison, the Otaku from Hell's Kitchen New York City.

"my name is... My name is Logan, Logan Harrison" I said.

"well Logan, I'm going to need to know if you've been here before and if you haven't your going to need to pay an entry fee" he said.

"how much, mister?" I asked.

"John, and it's 500 Valis" he said.

"ok" I said handing him the Valis.

"what are you here for Logan?"

"The dungeon, I want to be an adventurer, just like all my brothers and sisters" I said, glancing into the city

"you got a lot of family?" he asked as he put the Valis in his pouch

"hehe, you have no idea" it wasn't a lie either, once you became a Knight of Fate your basic genetics we're changed, making you similar to every other Knigth that ever lived, it is that link that gives all knight a shared potential that towers over any other person.

"well, that means you'll have a lot of support, I have a lot of hope for you then kid" he said as he walked back to where he came from.

"thanks" I called out.

Waving good bye to John, I entered the city.

It was amazing.

The city was crowded and the streets were maze-like.

I could wander these streets for a thousand hours and still see things that were new.

And that's what I did, because Knights of Fate didn't actually need sleep thanks to their altered biology, we could go without sleep for days even weeks if we were pushing ourselves and still recover stamina and the magical energy that was needed to use out Fate powers.

I walked the streets, over and over again, until I had a map of the entire city hazily made inside my head, well not all of the city, there were places that I only grazed over, not wanting to attract the wrong kind of attention.

I even found the place where the Hestia church is, after marking it with a bit of Fate energy so I could find my way back here easier, I continued my mapping of the city.

After my first walkthrough, I did two more until I knew the city better than I knew the garden in Fees realm or any other place in the multiverse.

After I was done it was early in the morning the next day.

After making my way back to the church I went inside.

After finding the door down to where Hestia and Bell slept, I took a deep breath and prepared to knock on the door.

*deep breath in*

*deep breath out*
