chapter 2 escaping death

hello I am Aurora I am an orphan I have no family no friends nothing and things don't get better for me you see madam Rose and her husband Lord magist is planning to kill me even though I'm crying my eyes out I want to escape I want to leave but I don't know how but let's get into how I escaped death well it's a crazy story.

as I cried my eyes out I thought to myself "you have to escape no matter" what but how would I do that if I try to escape they will certainly beat me to my death but as I thought looking at the broken wall I suddenly came up with a bright idea. that I will get a job at a tailor shop then I will take that opportunity to leave but I don't have money I barely get food how I was going to survive I didn't know but I did know that I have to leave no matter what or else I would be 10 ft under so the next day I did just that.

"madam Rose I said in a small voice looking up at her"

"what she screeched"

"I I... I was wondering if I could you know take the job that I was offered I said in a soft voice"

"job she yelled what job looking like she was going to hit me any moment"

"well a tailor offered me a job I was wondering if I could take it you know to make a little money I would give half to you I swear I said all in one breath"

"a job huh she said as she cringed her nose fine Go get that job but I better get most of that money yelled once again"

"thank you madam Rose I once again said in a soft voice"

she then proceeded to shoot me the way with her hand I took that chance to leave right away before she changed her mind as I thought in my head great phase one is an action tomorrow I am going to escape no matter what. as the sun Rose early in the morning I got dressed took a bath and cold water thankfully collected everything I could possibly take I took to still small loaves of bread and some clothes and a small container of water in a small pouch of money I've been hoarding for quite a while I put it in my small bag and head for the door as I leave madam Rose stops me.

"where are you going so early in the morning she Yawned in a rafty voice"

"I'm going to work you know just getting a head start I said in a shaky voice"

"all right rolling her eyes and snorting"

I quickly left run down the street at least 10 blocks as soon as I got to the road where the forest stretches far beyond I jumped over the gate and get to the forest I walked for hours and hours until. I stopped by a big giant tree it had Golden leaves which was weird because it was midsummer I wondered "how can there be such a big golden tree right in the middle of the forest" well I was too tired to care so I looked around the tree I found these golden apples they look absolutely delicious shiny golden I wanted to eat them but in the back of my mind I knew I shouldn't but I packed at least 10 of them in my bag they weren't very big instead of that delicious apple I ate my stale hard tasteless bread I felt like my teeth were going to break as I chewed it I took a quick gulp of my water. I thought "what am I going to do " as I sat by a tree looking at the big one until I heard a a sound it wasn't like an animal sound it was like a weird mystical sound. I looked around seeing nothing no one not even a butterfly I started to get up I looked around I started to pace around the tree until I saw a big hole right in the middle of it I wonder"how come I've never seen that before" but a blue light came from inside the hole in the tree I was really surprised I gazed at it like it would almost suck me if I got too close I wondered what to do but as I did that I heard the sound of of people not just any people it was the friends of Lord magist I hear him shout how far are we going to have to search for the stupid little thing I can't believe my wife made me come out here and search for her I was in a cold sweat heavy breathing and I could feel my body shiver with cold fear I didn't know what to do I couldn't hide they would definitely find me so I looked at the hole inside the tree it would still bright and blue as they got closer I took a chance of Gamble and jumped right inside the tree hole well after that I really can't remember as everything went dark and blank I was just floating there wondering what would happen to me until I saw a light.
