Rosé Amelia Meranda's POV

My mind was way too preoccupy of my dreams that I can't focus on finishing even one thing on my list for this morning. I tried drinking earl grey tea, lighted some scented candles, play my favourite Carpenters and Frank Sinatra music. But still, the unexplainable feelings still lingers. I even woke up late because of those dreams.

Last night, I dreamed being a cry baby. It was supposed to be a happy childhood memory of me playing with my childhood friends and neighbors but it turns out to be a dream with my past.

I was playing human train with my childhood friends towards my favourite playground, under the shade of a big acacia tree. We were just laughing and sliding in the slippery slates located at the place. Being a leader to all the games back when I was a child, I take a slide first and closed my eyes.

As I open my eyes, I found myself in an another familiar place. Big room in sky blue wall, wide windows that extend from one side to another in cased grill works. An information board at the rear portion with all the learning areas, and the black boards occupy the whole front area. It was my favourite high school classroom.

I saw familiar faces, all were showing naughty smile. My classmates from secondary level whom I have been with for the whole junior year were there. The armchairs were in total messed in a form of a garrison. And everyone was throwing items from one another. Blackboard erasers, books, crumpled papers, bags, even shoes were flying in the air.

"Fire in the hole," shouted one of my classmate as he was throwing paper.

I looked at them and tried to stop them, but they weren't listening. They were just shouting in a war game.

I moved out at one corner of the room and sat there exhaustedly.

"Where's my shoe?, " I said as I started to cry while moving one chair to another like a crying baby looking for the missing candy. "I can't find my shoe!"

A man came closer to me and carry me to his back from one corner to the outside of the room. I continued sobbing and looking for my shoe, I might say I'm way overreacting to such shoe were in fact, it was just my black school shoe.

The man goes inside to our classroom and picked my shoes from the messed created by my classmates from the war games.

And when he get back, he kneeled infront of me and fits the shoe to my foot. I feel liked Cinderella, if I must say. In an instance, I stopped crying as the shoe fits. I thanked him and he just kissed me in the forehead. The familiar comfortable feeling crept in my heart.

We decided to take a walked, the man held my hand and pulled me up. I was having fun teasing him as we were walking along the sloping road in another familiar place. It was the market place I used to go during my college years.

As we were walking along the side, I saw a pair of shoe that excites me. I looked at it vividly, and when I blinked I found myself looking at the shoe in my feet.

"Weird!" I said while still remembering her dream. That dream will never happen to me, especially I'm done with my study. I walked to the kitchen and drink a full glass of water. After I calm myseld down, I decided to take a shower.

I decided to go directly to the mall instead of going to my shop; like I usually do during free time.

I headed to the stationary section of the department store and started browsing the motivation book section, towards novel hit books, and some magazine. Eventhough I do, online browsing to bargain book. . . sometimes holding them while thinking to buy them or not is magical.

After finding some interesting books, I lined up the counter and paid for it. I went to the buildings 3rd floor were the shoe section is located. I turned right as I arrived at the 3rd level leading directly to the women's shoe.

"There you are again!" Lhei retorted from the other line of the phone.

I was busy looking at every pair display when my phone ring and have tp fished it out in my bag. I already texted Lhei about my whereabout so that she won't wonder why I haven't arrived at her coffee shop.

Lhei Cotic – one of my best friends. We meet during our freshmen year in Junior High and become so connected like soul sisters. We both liked writing as a hobby. She is also into Korean shows, movies and baes. Asked her about some Korean novelas, and she would definitely give you a hundred list of it.

"Don't get me wrong!, " I answered firmly. "You know, I don't spend a lot of money for a pair of shoes. It just that, I love the beauty of every shoes. Like every detail of it are so precise on every woman. And that's why I like spending a lot of time at this specific place," Rosé defended.

"I get it," Lhei says relingquishly." I think you are a shoe maker's daughter from another period," she concluded in defeat. "Just be careful, see you later at the shop. I just need to finished doing some of my lesson plans so that I can finally have a relaxing cup of coffee, " Lhei added and ended the call.

I slid my phone at my bag and started looking again at every shoe that's been display and studied its beauty individually. After checking a few pair of shoes, I finally found a pair worth fitting for.

It was a white ballerina flats with a pointed  toe with beads on the hem at the front section of the shoe. There were small crystals along the covered portion of the shoe that sparkles.

I took it from the display and walk towards the shoe fitting area.

The seating area follows the form of the column of the mall in circle, across it is a rectangular mirror around a feet height from the floor. The seat was made of ratan wood, forming a comfortable elongated yarn ball and was furnished intricately with some barnished.

I sat at my most comfortable position and try fitting the shoe. It gorgeously fit my foot.

Rosé cooed to myself. "It perfectly suits you," I told myself. "But right now, I think someone will need you more than I do, " I added while looking at the shoe.

I took off the shoe and looked at it astonishingly. Looking closely, I looked at the crystal and something flashed. A dream flashed in an instant given making me shiver. I shoved it off, but the feeling still lingers.

I hurriedly put the shoe back to its display. I was about to turn when I bumped into a hard solid muscle. My eyes wide open and I look up but the light strucks my eyes making me not having a clear sight of the man. The man was a foot taller than me, and it was grabbing the shoe I fit earlier. Locking me to the mans' arm and the corner of another shoe display.

"Excuse me," I said as I was making my way out between his grip while wiping my eyes.

"I'm sorry," the man said as he made a way out for me.

Feeling embarassesd, I just made a faint smile and look down while clutching my bag back to my lower arm forming a right angle.

"That shoe is wonderful," I said while pointing the shoe in his hands. "That can be a perfect gift to a woman," I added before I hurriedly made her way out as I remember my recent dreams.

"One thing to settle my mind is to have a dream diary," I said.

I went back in the notebook section and decided to choose a hardbound notebook. I landed into a color rose gold A5 size notebook. I also choose some variety of pencil and pens. I added some clips, sticky notes, staple wires, etc. After buying all she needs for organizing, and some magazines for her shop; I looked at my watch.

Shoot, I thought. I needed to be back to my shop as I remember my project report. I have to submit it before lunch time tomorrow for our weekly meeting.

I stop for a moment as the dark clouds started puouring the liquid it was holding.

How could this day gets any better, I thought. I clasps my bag up to my head and take a deep breath to run to the otherside of the road were the taxi lane is.

As I take a few steps in a run, a screeching from a car's tire stop and my world stop for a moment. The car's bumper made a litte impact in my feet. I know its my fault, I should. have look first if there's a car before running.

I bow in front of the car, as I heard the driver mumbling something and continue running to the shed as the rain is getting heavier.

Still in daze, I waved for the taxi and headed to my coffee shop. I focused my gaze outside the taxi's window, when my thoughts drive me back to my dreams.

"This strange dreams, what should I do with you?" I thought deeply.
