Just a sundress

"Mother, isn't it too early for me to start wearing maternity clothing" I look embarrassed at the blue bell colored sundress mother brought to me.

"What nonsense are you talking about dear, it's never too early!" She says looking at me with stars in her eyes.

~less than an hour later~

"Mother, Why did you have to do this to me" I say while looking at myself in the mirror.

"Oh, no reason, you're just too adorable for me to pass on this opportunity" she walks over toward me and lightly pats on the wrinkled edges of the sundress.

"Now come on, it's time for us to head out"Mother spoke as she took my wrist and pulled me out of the house and into the car.

"Where are we going?" I ask her curiously. "You'll have to wait for when we get there" She says as she starts the car.

~Half an hour later~

"Aaand here we are. We have arrived at our final destination...…. The maaaall" Mother says dramatically as we were walking in.

As we enter the first thing that I see are a bunch of clothing, shoes, and accessory stores. We first head towards the shoe store and as we get closer I notice a woman. The closer we got to her the more familiar the woman looked. Once we got closer I noticed that it was Kaila, my mother's best friend. As soon as she saw us she happily ran towards us yelling, "Olivia, Evans, I thought I would never get to see you guys again, what took you so long".

They give each other a big hug as mother says "Oh don't worry, Evans was just throwing a tantrum over the maternity sundress I made him wear".

"I was not throwing a tantrum I just said that it was too early for me to wear maternity clothes" I whisper yell blushing bright red.

"Alright alright, no need to yell darling. It's still just a sundress" Mother teases me more making me as red as a ripe tomato.
