After almost an hour, when Xavion couldn't get anything out of me. He sighed loudly, shaking his head in disappointment, making me close my eyes.

He left the living room and went upstairs. I had nothing to pack since I had never unpacked my duffel bag. He'll probably go and grab my things and continue what he's doing.

I stayed still on the couch, convincing myself I did the right thing. I did it to protect myself, I'm vulnerable at this moment, who knows what could Xavion do to me when he learns about my blight?
