Chapter 34 | Luminara

The crickets were still chirping, and everything was dark. I could no longer go back to sleep because my heart is thumping quickly. The cottage was lightly lit, and the candles were scattered on the table to the walls. Pushing the duvet out of my body, I felt the cold breeze but it didn't have the chance to put me back to sleep.

I took my slippers and walked to the center of the cottage, Akolyn was still asleep in his attic, and Xavion slept in his workshop. I rinsed my face tied my hair into a bun and changed into a more fit and comfortable training clothes.

I was about to open the door when I felt someone open it too.

"You're up." His voice was rather surprised, while his face had a bored look.

"Good morning—" I wasn't able to finish what I was saying as he bombarded me with his plans this morning.
