Little talk with the police

Author here. I wanted to ask you guys if you were interested in new fanfic of mha where the mc would follow the traditional hero-path, with a slight twist. The mc would have gravitokinesis, he will be able to freely control the gravity around him. He won't be a bitch obsessed with being the number 1 like Midoriya or Bakugo, he will have a goal, but it won't be revealed until much later in the plot. The main love interest will be Kyoka Jiro (but it can change), it won't be a harem. There still will be lemons. I will update it once each two days, without stopping this fanfic.

Tell me guys if this is good enough for you, if not then I will concentrate on this fanfic before thinking about beginning another one.

Enjoy.

Who would have thought that the symbol of peace would die during surgery, by the best surgeon of his country? Nobody right?

Thankfully it isn't the case.

Currently, Suzuki was resting on a bed, he hadn't slept for several hours, and the fact that he kept his quirk active for so long and was forced to be focused on what he was doing to the millimeter, tired him even more than if he was just keeping his quirk active.

Lying down on the bed, he was thinking about the surgery, it was no joke to say that he was difficult as hell. Surely his most difficult operation until then.

Lifting his hands from his side to above his head, he stared at them, thinking about what happened during these long, very long hours.

'The beginning of the transplant was surprisingly easy, it when very smoother then what I imagined, but what happened after wasn't in my calculations.

The poison who was supposed to be rendered inactive by the various drugs injected into the wound was supposed to last long enough for me to finish the transplant, but suddenly it became much more potent, slightly damaging part of the stomach that was already installed.

Thankfully my quirk was active and I could stop it from spreading into the rest of the organs, and erode them in a few seconds.

The fact that the poison became active so suddenly once again, can mean two things.

The guy who did this to him is still alive and controlled the poison at distance to keep me from doing the transplantation. If this guy wanted to kill Toshinori, he would have spread the poison much earlier. He wanted me to fail the surgery but not to kill Toshinori.

Or,

I just screwed up with the poison.

I'm leaning towards my second theory, the first one seems... a little too far fetched.'

Standing up, Suzuki began to walk towards the door of the room, he rested enough, he has things to do after all.

'Either way, it doesn't matter which theory is right, for now, I have other priorities as to how to deal with the little princes and kings, perched on their ivory government tower.'

A savage grin taking place on his face, thinking about his final goal.

'They think that I am nothing but a pawn huh? As the saying goes, the higher you climb, the harder your fall is... theirs will be fatal.'

A few minutes after the monologue inside his head, Suzuki walked toward where he thinks his dad is.

Not finding him where he thought he was, he decided to call him since he didn't feel like walking around the whole hospital when several nurses were looking at him, some with drool flowing from their open mouth. He was sure that the first thing they wanted was 'playing doctor' with him.

Last time he walked like that, he got dragged inside a closet where three nurses were waiting for him, thankfully his quirk permits him to teleport, otherwise, he would have been forced to put them unconscious. Since then, they either try to seduce him with their body, or they stay at a reasonable distance from him, but they don't forget to drown him with gifts.

His phone who was waiting for his father to answer the call, suddenly stopped emitting sounds before the voice of his father was heard on the other side.

[Allo, son?] His father said.

[Yeah it's me, where did you go?] Suzuki asked, they were supposed to go back together.

[Ah yes sorry about that, I got an urgent call from the prime minister, there is a lot of things to do. They are drowning me with work... but since it's for the population, I guess that a little sacrifice is necessary.]

[I see... Wait. Don't tell me you took my car?] Suzuki remembering that he handed his keys car to his father before going to change. The last time he let his keys in his locker, they got stolen and when he went to his car, a nurse was waiting for him inside, naked.

[Oh my god do you see it?!] His father said, his voice dripping from the fakeness of the tone he used.

[What are you talking a-] Before Suzuki could finish his sentence, a *bip* coming from the ended call cut him.

"..." Speechless at his father's shameless behavior, Suzuki stayed still, not moving an inch.

"... I will snitch this to mom."

A few kilometers from there, a man shuddered, an ominous feeling striking him.

"What's this feeling? It feels like I got sentenced to death... Meh, it surely nothing more than a cold."

'I am lucky, Genta is coming back from his cooking contest, I won't be forced to take public transport.' Suzuki said, walking towards a specific room, he still had a thing to do before leaving.

Knocking on the door of Toshinori, the door opened almost immediately after, and his purple eyes met the black eyes of a man he already saw somewhere.

"Excuse me, I came to see my patient. I am Suzuki Reed, the surgeon who operated Toshinori." Holding his left hand for a handshake, Suzuki looked at the man in front of him.

Shaking his hand, the man replied with a smile, "I know you, after all, you are a little famous in the country, even if you didn't try to be. I am Naomasa Tsukaushi, a police inspector."

"Nice to meet you then Tsukaushi."

Walking inside the room, he immediately came beside Toshinori and check if everything was alright. He then looked at different notes of the check-ups and radios of his body, the doctors did after the operation, not finding any problem he nodded his head at the good job he did.

"Can I ask you a question?" Tsukaushi suddenly asked, looking at the focused Suzuki, who still had a poker face during the whole time. He was not letting the inspector see any of his emotions.

"Sure, go ahead." He replied, his eyes still onto the notes he was reading.

"Last time, the incident at the amusement parc of Disn*yLand, it was you, right? You and your friends. I heard that the whole incident was covered up by the government. What really happened there?" He asked, crossing his arms while looking at Suzuki.

"The government hide everything, you really expect me to say what happened there? Besides it isn't something important to the police, it really concerns some terrorism issues." Suzuki said, his eyes locked onto the man.

"As I thought your whole 'gentle surgeon' appearance is nothing but a facade to hide your real identity. The government is covering a few dark things, and I have a feeling that you played a major role in a few of them."

"Is this the famous inspector's instinct?" A small smirk on his face, due to the amusement he found on the inspector's words, he then said.

"If you really suspect me of doing crimes under the nose of the police, then you just have to gather enough evidence against me. Isn't this how police work? Though I sincerely don't think that I am your main problem right now. Don't you think?" Suzuki said, placing the notes where he found them.

Frowning at his words, he asked, "What do you mean?"

"... There is a lot of corrupted heroes working with corrupted policemen themselves working with villains. If you really think that I am a larger threat than them, then you are heavily mistaken. You should focus your attention on more important things than me, a guy clearly protected by the government. You can't gain anything by exposing what I did, and that's a fact."

"..."

"And to be honest, the police nowadays is useless. You can't do shit to protect what is in front of your eyes. I mean... Do you know how many criminal networks are there in Japan? The numbers are astronomical." Looking at his phone, Suzuki suddenly moved towards the door, leaving behind him a thinking police inspector, alone in room, Toshinori still sleeping on the bed.

'I also think that we are lacking in our duty due to your presence Toshinori...' He thought looking at his friend on the bed.

"If what he said is true then there is a lot to do. I have to talk to my boss about this..." Sitting on the nearest chair, he thought about the future.

"It will be difficult, very difficult but for the people. We must do it, even if it takes us years."
