Interfering

As the man stood up, he brushed off the dust sticking on his clothes. Blood was dripping from his nose and mouth along with the pain from the impact. However, he gritted his teeth stubbornly and endured the pain he was feeling like it was just an ant's bite.

He didn't waste any more time as he instantly leaped backward, avoiding Maximo's hoof by a hairsbreadth.

The other two remaining men were also escaping fervently, their life was on the line after all. Adrenaline rushed through their brain letting them experience speed incomparable to before.

However, too bad for them, Nile wouldn't let them escape successfully.

He knew that if he didn't interfere, Maximo would not be able to finish them. Instead of waiting for the carabao, he decided to act himself.

The bloody sword on his hand that had cut off the beggar man's head earlier suddenly glowed with red. The sword suddenly transformed into a throwing knife.
