Briena squirmed slowly, spread her arms in the air and then to the side, groping and confirming Vian's whereabouts. The bed beside him was empty. Briena opened her eyes and did not find Vian's figure beside her. The woman touched the bed which felt cold, it meant that Vian had woken up earlier.

Briena looked around the room and also the balcony, she still couldn't find Vian's figure. She decided to go downstairs and out of the room. There was no Vian in the living room, in the kitchen of the room and also the outside bathroom. Briena moved to the gym, there she found Vian running on the treadmill.

Briena watched her husband leaning against the doorpost. Vian exercised wearing a plain white t-shirt and black cloth pants. Sweat drips down around the neck and temples. The man still hadn't noticed Briena's whereabouts.
