Evan's unease

Evan thought the little girl will find him hero or something cool but her words made him speechless again.

He got to know that little girl name was Mary and the young girl goes by Anna, from start to end they never bothered to get to know him. Little Mary thought him as a suspicious person and the girl asked her to be polite.

But Little Mary paid no heed to her, and talked to him for the first time just to ask the direction for washroom. Evan felt his sense of presence had now evolved to 0.

Anna thanked him, he must say she was very polite; has an aura of carefree wild bird, who was very sensitive and deep. He saw her in dim lights coming from his study table lamp, her beauty seems to hook his heart to her.

Her hairs are loose and clothes are visibly little damaged because of the adventure she went through; but her face was without a frown, there was no fright in her eyes. They are shining brightly that made his mind went to daze.

A loud shout woke him up from his stupor, he saw Lucy standing and cursing the girl.

Lucy had heard the sound coming from inside in the start and was surprised that no one come out even after so long, she started imagining weird scenes in her mind about Evan and his so-called girlfriend and entered and saw a beautiful, tall women standing near Evan. This made her anguish turn into anger and she burst it on the girl.

Lucy came forward to attack Anna; but Evan pulled the latter in his arms. Seeing that Lucy started insulting Anna and Evan together.

But Anna's every reply was pointed, sharp and full of sarcasm; that drove Lucy into madness. Evan was impressed by Anna very much, while holding her in his arms he found himself comforted in her scent. It was very clean, soothing vanilla fragrance emanating from her.

When she struggled, he was unconsciously pulled her closer, Lucy was insulting Anna furiously; while Anna was retorting her because she was insulted in this process without rhyme and reason.

Evan heard Lucy asking him to prove whether Anna was his girlfriend or not. He felt the girl in is arms became stiff after hearing Lucy. Her stunned expression looked cute on her, he asked her to stop struggling.

Evan looked up from Anna to Lucy, when he agreed to her statement that Anna was the girlfriend, he told her about last time; he thought she will believe him as it is. But now she was looking towards him with so much of confidence. He bent and looked at Anna's lips which seems to be tender and full evoking anyone's desire to taste them.

Evan bent down his head and pressed his cold lips on her warm and tender ones, he felt a jolt of electricity flowed in his veins, he saw her grey-black eyes which made him excited. Evan closed his eyes and start kissing her like there is no tomorrow, he forgot everything else, he forgot about Lucy. He felt Anna's eyes on him, but he can't stop himself and don't want to stop himself from taking her sweetness….

He heard the loud banging of door, he snaked his arms around Anna, wishing to go further went a pain brought him out of him stupor. Before he could understand what happened, a slap came up and he stumbled due to its force. Anna was cursing him and he felt somewhat guilty and not to. He didn't stop her from releasing her frustration, he deserved it.

Mary came up, she looked more relaxed and wanted to say something to him but Anna pulled her out of the suit.

Evan sat down on the couch thinking about the situation, and stood up realizing that he didn't even apologized to her; he ran to the suit entrance.

He saw Anna hugging Daniel Robinson, the current head of SKYLAR GROUP. He remembered; he saw a girl with Daniel at the elevator too; listening to Daniel confessing to Anna made his face turn black.

He suddenly has an urge to pull her back from his embrace to his own, he was shocked by his own thought. Jeffrey came at the same time, his ridicule made it worse and he reentered the suit shutting him out.

Present time

Evan was feeling uneasy upon remembering Anna's blissful expression in Daniel���s arms. The more he thought the more restless he felt. He gave up on thinking and went to shower and directed his focus on his work.

At the banquet

Mrs. Harrison rushed to embrace Mary at the sight of her coming back, safe and sound. While Mr. Harrison was shocked to see Daniel helping Anna back into the hall. He knew Anna personally because he was once her patient too.

When Robinson family saw Daniel with Anna in such an intimate position, they were in loss of words. The siblings were smiling and whispering at each other; not caring about anything around them. They saw Daniel half-hugging Anna, and Anna holding his waist, they were stupefied at the scene.

Mr. & Mrs. Harrison came together towards Anna. Anna straightened herself back to her calm expression, she nodded to them. Mr. Harrison hurriedly said. "Dr. Anna, you seem like the guardian angel of our family. Thank you very much for saving my daughter, I will always be grateful to you." He and his wife bowed in front of her.

Anna stopped them and said in a mild and humorous tone. "Mr. Harrison, you don't have to be polite. You can just give me your daughter in return, I hope the bargain is suitable." Anna winked at Mary and chuckled, lightening the gloomy atmosphere.

Everyone laughed with her but not Robinson, they understood that the girl who took the fall to save Mary was her; everyone's face turned pale in horror.
