"SWEETHEART"

The man In front of them was no one other than the current head of SKYLAR GROUP, Daniel Robinson.

Evan already knew him; they had worked together on a project in past. When Daniel saw Wright brother and Jeffrey, he was a little stunned. He nodded at them and went to Anna.

Anna was tired and napping now, Daniel removed his coat and covered her with it. He already knew about the ordeal about her leave cancellation from her friends and decided to visit her.

Evan has a turmoil inside his heart, but a calm face on surface. He already knew that Anna was Daniel's girlfriend but he still felt stifled by the fact.

Daniel didn't want to disturb her and sat with the other men in the ward. Ethan was curious about their relationship and anxiously initiated the conversation. "Hello Mr Robinson, its been a while. How are you?" he wants his assumption to be wrong.

Daniel smiled and said. "I'm doing fine, but I really don't know about your accident. How are you now?" he was polite and sounded concerned.

Ethan waved his hand dismissively and said. "I'm still the most handsome even with the gauze." He was good with words, he noticed Daniel looking at Anna repeatedly and asked. "What is your relationship with my doctor-in-charge?"

Daniel chuckled and answered. "Well, most important woman in my life; my …" he was cut off by Anna who has woken up due to their whispering.

"Don't you feel ashamed by calling a young girl a woman?" she has just woken up and her voice is a little hoarse. She then stood up to give Daniel a hug.

Daniel hugged her back and said in a low voice. "Your food is here, my foodie." He teased her by calling names.

Anna retaliated by punching on his shoulder and said with a sullen face. "So, you feel I eat so much; then leave from here. I don't want you." She pushed him and sat back on the sofa and start playing with her phone.

Daniel shook his head and sat in front of her.

The other three watched her open-mouthed. The Anna they knew was serious, calm and happy figure; but now she was throwing tantrum in front of Daniel. They felt their assumptions were right.

Evan felt very displeased and turned his face towards window; watching the busy street from upside. He thought 'Out of sight, out of mind'. But his attention was still with them.

Daniel apologized to her but she didn't give him any face, they knew Daniel was someone with a short temper but he was surprisingly tolerating of her.

There was a knock on the door, a man entered; he was wearing a white coat, an identity card hanging by his neck. He looked clean, and charming. He looked towards Anna and said. "Dr Anna, you don't have to trouble yourself by staying here. You can rest inside my office, I got to know about your assistant who was on leave." He asked calmly.

He was Carl Anderson, A cardiologist, he was talented and quite famous in his filed of work and has a crush on Anna for 2 years.

His eyes carried indulgence and love without filter for Anna. Anna felt Goosebumps and looked towards Daniel; she suddenly has an idea.

Anna held Daniel by his waist and said very sweetly. "Dr Anderson, I could have done that but my 'SWEETHEART' is here." She deliberately called the word sweetheart more merrily.

Daniel felt goose bumps just by hearing her tone, his impulse was to throw her off. This girl made use of him as soon as possible but didn't accept his apology even after so many efforts.

Ethan and Jeffrey were stunned by the scene in front of them.

Evan and Carl have the same expression of disheartening, but Evan's expression was not visible and Carl was looking at Daniel with an envious and resented gaze.

Daniel felt like flopping Anna's play and about to say something when Anna whispered to him. "Don't dare try it, otherwise I won't talk to you for a year." She threatened him.

Daniel cowered a little and said to Carl. "You must be here for My Ann's goodwill, but I won't be at ease because the patient here is one of my friends and you're a stranger to me. How can I place my life under a stranger's supervision?" his expression was very sincere; no deceit was found.

Carl said to Anna in a hurt concealed tone. "Then, I won't be disturbing you and her. I will be around Anna." He looked at Anna and left the ward, his back visibly showed his loosened spirit.

After confirming for a while that Carl is nowhere near them, Anna looked towards Daniel with a serious expression and repeated his words.

"You must be here for My Ann's goodwill, but I won't be at ease because the patient here is one of my friends and you're a stranger to me. How can I place my life under a stranger's supervision?" she mimicked his expressions well and hurriedly covered her mouth and lowered her head.

Ethan and Jeffrey were looking for any new revelation because of the turn of the events. Evan too has turned because of her sudden words; he saw her covering her mouth and lowering her head. He thought she was feeling weak again and was about to ask her to rest when her laughter filled the whole ward.

Anna was laughing loudly; she was trying to cover her face with her hands but her visibly shaking shoulders gave away. Daniel was still astounded by his sister's mischief and started shaking his head to her and flicked her forehead.

"ouch.. you are hurting YOUR LIFE now, don't do it; hahaha you will feel more pain …. Bro hahahahah …." She was having fun.The Wright brothers and Jeffrey was now totally confused by her behavior, they cannot understand the situation even after witnessing everything.

Daniel pulled Anna by her ear and said in a helpless and doting tone. "Sweetheart??" he applied little more pressure when Anna winced and Added.

"Is this how to call your elder brother, Anna Robinson?"

"WHAT??"
