An Important Call

Anna was busy preparing for her surgeries in the morning, she has decided to extend her leaves coming month.

Anna attended Ethan with a straight face, she didn't greet him like yesterday.

Ethan was puzzled.

"Anna did you not had a good rest at night?" he was badly ignored by Anna since she came in.

Anna turned her face as she was not the recipient of the question, she calmly looked at the reports and went instruct the nurse.

"Don't let the patient walk, if he wants to get some fresh air or something use a wheelchair and the snacks beside his bed should be removed!!" she has astern look on her face.

Ethan was stupefied by her observation; he thought his snacks are placed safe behind the bed. "Anna, I don't know what happened, I'm not at fault for your mood too. Can't you let me have them."

Ethan was trying hard to remember if he had offended her in any possible way, but he has no such memory.

Anna looked at him and said. "YOUR ELDER BROTHER, gave me the responsibility to treat his brother nicely and as soon as possible." Anna added the last part herself.

Ethan felt irritated by his brother and called him directly, Meanwhile, Anna left the ward to attend her other important works.

Evan's plane has just landed, he switched his phone to inform his brother about his sudden trip; he saw his brother himself was calling him.

Evan answered the call but before he could say anything Ethan's annoyed voice sounded from other side.

"Brother, do you know how hard its for me to make some good friends not the ones who knows nothing more than bootlicking?" Ethan was very annoyed by Evan, according to him Evan was the reason why Anna distanced herself from him.

Ethan was not wrong through.

Evan felt his brother's grumpiness and asked, "I know that, can't you tell me what disaster happened for you to get angry on me early in the morning?" Evan was confused.

Ethan thought his brother was trying to trap him by feigning being confused.

"Brother, why do you have to ask Anna to stay away from me? She didn't even greeted me morning and only talked with the nurse." He then glared at the nurse. The nurse felt herself wrongly accused by him but only lowered her head.

Evan understood, he thought to himself. 'She will ignore everyone related to me from now on, but I can't help it. I'm running away from her myself!!!!'

"She must be tired don't bother with her and rest carefully, don't play around." Evan said and hung up the call.

Ethan was left hanging by both Anna and Evan, he sighed and closed his eyes. His head hurt because of them. 'How will I make Anna my sister-in -law if she ignores us!!!'

Anna had a very busy day, in the evening she was resting after completing a difficult surgery when her assistant knocked at the door.

"Boss, important call!!!" Anna's assistant was a very special one, but she merges with everyone like a normal secretary.

Anna understood the severity of the phone call. She gestures her to close the door, Anna stood up from her chair and walk to the small wardrobe in her cabin.

She opens a locker after unlocking the password and take out a very thick phone from it.

Anna divides the phone screen twice and it converts into a mini laptop. Anna then called someone.

A beautiful face can be shown from that mini screen, the girl seems to be same age as Anna and was smiling beautifully.

"Work here is getting extremely loaded, some important documents need your signature!!" the girl's smile turn into a pitiful expression.

"I'm coming to Paris for 4 days next month, how about delaying it till then." Anna calmly said.

A twinkle can be seen in the eyes of the girl, she said smiling. "Well, its not impossible but I'm already here in the city. I must say T-City is fabulous."

Anna's face lit up with a smile as well. She looked at the excited girl and told her address. "It's my new address, its very safe so let's meet tonight after I complete my remaining work."

"Ace, its been a whole year since I met you; I feel excited just by thinking about it!!" the girl was very happy.

"It's ANNA not ACE, don't mistake it again." Anna turned stern as her expression now were serious.

The girl realised her mistake, she said grumpily. "When I met you, the name you told everyone was ACE. Its impossible to change suddenly."

Anna frowned at her and said. "Its been 8 years already, how long do need to change a simple way to address me?" Anna was about to reprimand her again when the girl made aface at her through the screen.

Someone barged into the room, Anna reflexively hid the mini-laptop and her expression turned very disastrous.

Anna looked at the intruder and then at her assistant, the assistant lowered her head and tried to explain. "Boss, this man didn't stop when asked; he said he can easily fire me. Also, he threatened me with his glares."

Anna turned to the man and asked, "I hope you have a valid reason to interrupt a person in this way MR WRIGHT!!!!" the man was none other than Evan Wright.

Some time ago,

Jeffrey and Evan had returned in the evening flight, Evan asked his friend to drove straight to the hospital.

When Evan reached his brother's ward, he heard the sound of things being thrown on the ground.

He hurriedly entered the ward and saw Ethan sitting on the bed with his head clutched in pain.

Evan tried to comfort him but nothing progressed, he turned to the nurse. "What happened? and where is your Doctor?"

Nurse was scared but maintained her calm and said. "Sir your brother ate something that contradicts with his current medicines and having headache. As for Dr Anna she was in a surgery and he refused the other Doctors to treat him."

A message came in her phone. 'Dr Anna's surgery finished but an important call came right after, she will be notified after that. Ask someone to ensure patients health first'

Evan was standing close to her and saw the message he turned and went to Anna's cabin immediately.

Anna's assistant tried to stop him but he kicked the door open.
