Sweetheart, I'm Back!!

Anna completed her work on time in the evening.

When She visited Ethan for his daily check-up, anyone can feel her eagerness to finish everything and go back.

Evan offered her to give her a lift but he was treated as air by her; Jeffrey and Ethan were speechless by Anna's response to Evan.

Anna's phone rang, she received it like speed of light.

"Sweetheart, I'm back!" A girlish voice sounded. Everyone present in the ward heard it and was surprised to see a wide smile plastered on Anna's face.

Anna was done with everything there and directly turned to leave the ward and said. "Do you find any difficulty reaching my new home?" she was concerned about her.

While talking she left the ward.

Inside the ward,

Jeffrey said anxiously, "I didn't believe the stone face VP can be so childish in private!!"

"We show our vulnerable and innocent side to our most important person." Evan said calmly. His words have two meanings; first was psychology statement; second indicating Anna's importance in the girl's life.

Ethan got the former message while Jeffrey understood the latter one. He nodded at Evan, expressing his appreciation for him.

Evan got up and said to Ethan. "I'm going back, you can rest well. Jeffrey will look after you." He then left.

Jeffrey was shocked by the sudden decision but agreed anyway. He thought,

'Just because you pay me!! Hmph!!'

Unicorn Residences

Anna reached her apartment very soon.

She was about to press the bell when the door opened and someone rushed into her arms, covering her in a bear hug.

One minute.

Ten minutes.

Twenty minutes.

The person looked like sleeping in her arms, she patted her back sometimes but no response.

Her eyes flicked with mischief when the person didn't move, she reached out her hand and tickled the person at her waist area and held her in a tight grip.

The girl start wriggling in her arms to break free but Anna didn't loosen up; the place filled with girl's uncontrollable laughter.

"S-Sweetheart, I-I'm sorry ….. HAHaha … please l-leave me …. Hahahah ." she was begging for mercy now.

Anna released her and said in tone mimicking ancient culture. "This Lady, forgives you; but." She paused and held the girls chin with her right hand and said in a playful tone. "SERVE ME WELL!!"

The girl bowed her head in an exaggerated manner. "My Lady, this lowly servant will comply to all your wishes." She took Anna's bag then and said. "Please give me the opportunity to help you."

Anna blinked at her and said mischievously, "Actually, my shoulders are sore too." She chuckled and looked at her with raised brows as smirk lingered on her lips.

The girls temper rose suddenly, she glared her and said. "How about your neck, My Lady? Should I just cut it once for all!"

Anna ran inside as soon as she heard her and the girl ran after shouting.

No one noticed the presence of two people behind them from start to end. Jeffrey who ended up coming with Evan for some urgent documents has his jaw dropped for such scene.

Evan tried to conceal but a chuckle escaped as soon as they ran inside.

Jeffrey felt another shock hearing Evan chuckle, Evan noticed Jeffrey looking at him and turned to his apartment entrance.

Jeffrey followed Evan inside.

Inside Evan's apartment,

Jeffrey threw the files on the table and asked Evan. "Evan, this doctor doesn't look at you but flirt so well with a girl!! D-Do you think she sway other side?" he was cautious throughout.

Evan who was drinking water almost spit it out.

He still choked and glared at Jeffrey and said in wise tone. "I can guarantee, she doesn't like girls." He turned to his room and closed the door at his friend's face.

Jeffrey thought. 'How are you so sure about it?' but in actual didn't voiced out his thoughts.

Next door,

Anna sneezed twice, and reminded herself to drink ginger water before sleeping in night.

Anna looked up to the girl who was lazing in the living room and shook her head.

"Stacy, don't laze around and help me!" she was tired too and who was the one asking for opportunities to help, she frowned at her.

"In your dreams, humph!!" she starts watching a romantic drama on the TV.

Anna was speechless by her behavior, who will believe that she is the girl feared by many here is throwing tantrum on her for being little late.

Stacy R. , A 24 year old girl managing the 'THE ACE' whole empire as a vice president. It was the empire started by Anna when she turned 18. She did all the works behind the shadows.

If you think it's a simple company then you're wrong;

It manages a whole line of hospitals, Tech companies and Motor crops. After the hard work for whole 6 years, they stand at a pinnacle in these sectors.Anna made some light dishes for her and Stacy's dinner and asked her to come and eat.

Stacy lazily walked to Anna and looked at the dishes, in an instant her laziness disappeared and she sat down and started munching on the food.

Anna sat beside her and asked. "Where are the documents?" she cant even imagine the workload she is about to have.

"Nothing much, its just those two bags of files; I brought new clothes for me today and washed them too." Her meaning was that she didn't brought clothes in those bags but the document.

Anna smiled miserably after taking a look at those bags and their sizes.

Stacy saw everything and started chuckling, she said. "My gift for you, sweetheart." She smiled sweetly to Anna.

Her expression said, 'The torture begins, HA-HA-HA-HA'
