Are you trying to crack a joke????

Evan saw Anna stressed and carefully caressing her in her arms with softened expressions. He was aware she was stressed over her condition and asked.

"Should I call my family doctor for her??"

Anna looked up at him and suddenly chuckled and almost laughed when she his confused expressions.

"Mr Wright, are you trying to crack a joke?" Anna was amused even in such tense atmosphere.

"What do you mean b---" Evan understood and shut up himself instantly, Anna saw his stupefied expression and chuckled again but turned silent when Jasmine's whimper sounded.

"Ann saved me; she is here!!" Jasmine voice was low but her dependence on Anna was much higher.

"Drive a little faster please!!" Anna said with urgency in her tone. She minimally examined her wounds but this is not enough.

"understood." Evan said and increased the speed.

UNICORN RESIDENCES

As soon as the car was parked, Anna's friends came rushing towards them.

The door opened and Alex frowned as he saw Anna holding a unconscious Jasmine. He came forward to held her but Anna stopped him; he frowned but stood aside silently.

James and Mark tried but Anna refused too budge, even Mia was terribly ignored. Evan saw everything and said in a calm voice.

"She needs to be treated, Anna?" Anna nodded her head as soon as she heard him and gestured him to hold Jasmine. Others saw this and was still confused but followed anyway.

Since the elevator was very spacious everyone settled in one go; but the temperature around Anna made them shiver inside it.

Soon the elevator reached there and they saw an anxious Ethan waiting for them; he came forward.

"Anna, I have prepared everything. Let's go."

Anna smiled lightly at him, and thought. 'you're really an angel Ethan.'

Half-an-hour later,

Anna came downstairs, everyone looked eagerly at her. There eyes held so many questions!!!

"She is fine, will be awake anytime soon." Anna sat on the sofa and leaned back to rest her head and closed her eyes.

Anna felt someone tugged her and looked at the direction.

Ethan passed a glass of water to her with a smile. And said. "Have it"

"Why are you such a angel, Ethan?" Anna ruffled his hairs and took the glass from him, as soon as she sat straight; Evan looked at her and frowned.

"Don't you think you too need a change, Anna?" Evan said in a low voice.

Anna touched her back and was stunned, everyone was looking at her if she stood up now, then!!!

"AHHHHHHH" A sudden loud scream was sounded from upstairs.

Everyone ran upstairs, Anna stood up as everyone left already and looked at Evan.

Evan was already looking at her and said. "Go and change. I'll explain to them." Anna ran towards her room as soon as she heard him.

Evan saw the large patch of blood on the sofa and cleaned with some tissues. Anna's sofa covers were of bio-plastic and can be cleaned easily and help him by not making any effort.

Upstairs,

Jasmine was having a bad dream and she woke up with a scream, she looked at the familiar surrounding and heaved a sigh of relief.

Everyone started filling up the room and she was startled at first but relax after seeing familiar faces. She looked around but didn't saw her, Anna.

"Where is she? ... Where is Anna?" Jasmine anxiously asked. But no one replied.

Everyone was silent, Jasmine was already terrified by the incident and now she was getting scarred again.

One minute

Two minutes

Fifteen minutes,

Mia took a deep breath and was about to come forward and hug Jasmine when Anna's cold voice sounded. "She doesn't need your sympathy now!!!"

Mia took back her step and tears started forming in her eyes, she was somewhat clueless about the whole issue. What happened?? What made Anna so angered?? Just What is it???

"What did we do to make you resent us so much, Ann?" Mark was now on his verge of crying. For him Anna was more than anything and her coldness is something he can't bear.

"You guys don'y know yet!!! let me help you enlighten yourselves but before that, let us hear her first." Anna said smilingly but that smile didn't reach her eyes.

Coldness and disappointment was there.

Alex and James understood by her reactions while Mia and Mark were still thinking about there mishaps!!!
