Infiltration?

As the sun sets, we sneak up towards the mansion. I jump up and peek over the wall.

"What the hell? Whats going on?" I mutter confused.

"What are you talking about?" Historia asks as she levitates up and peeks over as well.

"There all drunk or asleep. I thought this place was supposed to be heavily guarded? Is it a trap?"

"I don't know, I'm just as surprised as you." She says.

"Well, lets get going." I mutter through my mask.

Historia touches my shoulder and levitates us to the roof, where we climb to the chimney with little difficulty.

"You know, I never asked. What tier mage are you?" I ask seriously.

"I'm Silver Tier Mage. I was born a Bronze Tier." She says with pride.

I nod, "Impressive."

"Well, what about you? I notice you avoid the use of magic, why is that?"

I huff, "I'm a Stone Tier. I don't use magic, because my level is to low to actually be effective."

Her smile grows, and she opens her mouth to make a remark, but I hush her. "Talk more later, for now extinguish the fire." I nod down towards the bottom of the chimney where smoke is coming out.

"Fine." She narrows her eyes, but waves her hand extinguishing the fire down below.

"Follow me." I tilt my head.

I draw my swords off my back, and jump down, stabbing my magic blade into the wall, slowing my decent.

I crash into the soot in the fireplace, causing a smokescreen with the soot. I roll out of the fireplace into the study, and leap to my feet in a defensive stance.

The Soot clears, and the study is empty, except for a man in red robes, with greased black hair and fine cut beard.

A wicked smile spreads across my face, but is hidden by the mask. "Hello Baron Vice, it's been a while." I spit my voice filled with venom.

The man smiles warm and welcoming. "Hello Tasuki Levius Pyxis, its been a few years yes?"

My face pales under my mask. "H-how do you know it's me?" I take a step back.

He stands up, "My boy, you should pick your companions better."

I spin, "Wha..." Before I can move, I large blast of lightning slams into my chest hurdling me against the wall cracking a few of my ribs. The last thing I see before I pass out, is Miss Thief smiling wickedly at me saying. "Good bye Tas."
