"Don't worry, you can buy it from me for one gold and five people can use it. This Blessed Water is more potent than the one sold by our winner, Lander." Great Baron Bobby explained.
"Do you have more Blessed Water Great Baron?" One of the crowds asked as he knew that one bottle of Blessed Water was not enough for, fifteen people.
"Of course I do, so I only need three golds for three bottles," Great Baron Bobby said smiling.
Then the people who were touched by Lander agreed. Excluding perverted elder Shing, all of them went away after paying for the three bottled Blessed Water.
Lander saw everything and realized that being an outcast has perks too. He watched those people and laughed.
On the other hand, the people who were lucky not to be touched by Lander sighed in relief. While perverted elder Shing kowtowed in front of Great Baron Bobby pleading him to give him a Blessed Water in exchange for his life, to be his slave.
Great Baron Bobby cast a spell on him that made him paralyzed, "I wouldn't pity a man who takes pleasure in raping young girls."
"So shall we continue?" Lander asked the officiating officials.
They saw Lander's ruthlessness and gulped. They nodded when they heard him asking the question with enthusiasm.
The acting referee sighed knowing that he was just a referee and not amongst the crowd. He silently walked onto the platform and reminded me, "You can now choose another opponent."
Upon hearing the acting referee's words, the crowds stepped back and lowered their heads. Watching them stepping back, Lander smiled and pointed out a random man, "You! Come and let's have some exercise."
The crowd lifted their heads and they sighed when they saw that Lander was not pointing at them. However, the unlucky man felt crying, "No! Please No! I don't have much money to buy a Blessed Water."
"It's okay. I will defeat you without touching you." Lander stated with assurance.
Hearing him, the unlucky man stared at Lander trembling. "Please, I don't want to go. Please spare me."
The crowd urged the unlucky man because they were afraid that Lander would change his mind. "Go on now!"
"Why be a part of the crowd if you're afraid." Some of the crowd who were shrinking a while ago shouted.
Lander was amused listening to these bunch of idiots, "I will pay you one gold if ever I touched you."
When the crowd heard his words they felt tempted but knowing that the Great Baron Bobby had no Blessed Water left they shrunk back. And they pushed the unlucky man up the platform.
The unlucky man, who got pushed up the platform cried as he kowtowed in front of Lander, "Please! I don't want to be an outcast. Spare me, please. I will do everything you say just please don't touch me!"
Seeing the unlucky man, Lander laughed, "Then why don't you just surrender?"
The unlucky man was jolted upon hearing Lander's words. "I SURRENDER! I SURRENDER!"
Then the man scurried away with tears rolling down his face. The acting referee went up the platform and announced, "Finally, we have a new champion, Lander. Congratulations!"
"For our champion, there are three prizes you can choose from," The acting referee continued.
"Oh? There is a prize after winning three consecutives? So elder, what are the prizes?" Lander was excited.
"The first prize is one gold, the second one is an elite sword crafted by a blacksmith master's disciple and the third prize is a book of magic." The acting referee informed.
Hearing the last prize, Lander's interest got perked, and with confidence, he said, "I'll get the book of magic."
"Are you sure? It is of no use to you knowing you're an outcast." The acting referee asked.
"It is of no use to me but how about if I give it to a commoner friend?" Lander lied. He knew the trends of this world. If you're an outcast, then you can't do magic. If you're a commoner then you can have a chance. Although Lander hated this trend, he would one day prove that he would be able to do magic.
The officiating officials handed him the book covered with a cloth. Lander grabbed it and bowed towards them and to Great Baron Bobby before leaving the platform. The crowd opened a pathway for him afraid that they would touch him.
Yan Yan who was watching away from the platform heard every line of the perverted elder Shing she respected. She never thought that one of the men she respected would have an interest in her. Thinking about it, she felt a chill run down her spine. And when she saw Lander smiling in front of her, tears rolled down her cheeks as she kowtowed, "Thank you Manung, Inuy-a!"
"Thank me for what?" Lander asked bewildered.
Yan Yan pointed at the perverted elder Shing who was on the ground paralyzed. Then Lander realized and helped Yan Yan stood up and patted her head, "Don't worry! As long as you listen to me, no one can hurt you."
Yan Yan nodded and followed Lander as he strode towards the inn. The owner of the inn was one of the crowds who touched him and was just done after having a bath of Blessed Water. Upon seeing Lander, he never let them in and told them that they were not welcome at his inn.
Left with no choice, Lander and companions meandered the streets again asking for a place where they could rest and have a meal. But the words spread out quickly, a young man, a young girl, and a cub wolf are not welcomed to any inn because they are outcasts. People even began moving away from them, despising them as if they were a plague.
Lander got pissed because he can't use the money he just earned. He wanted to touch every people in this village to feel his wrath but he calmed himself. Lander then decided to buy things they needed, even if people moved away from them they could still buy things provided that the people wouldn't touch the money used by the outcast. The vendors would order Blessed Water before they could touch the money that came from the outcasts.
And so Lander with his one gold and fourteen bronzes, bought some spices, booze, some meat, and salt. He also bought clothes for Yan Yan, haystacks to be used as their bed and five blankets to keep them warm when sleeping outside.
After buying everything they needed, Lander was only left with two bronzes. He also asked Yan Yan how many coins he gave her. Yan Yan counted and told him that she had ten silvers and eighteen bronzes. Then they left Sunny Village and found a cave not far from it.
Inside the cave, Lander started cooking. He also asked Yan Yan to collect dried bushes outside for bed, she then put on top of the dried bushes the haystocks and cleanly arranged one blanket to cover the haystocks and added another layer of blanket.
After Lander cooked, the three of them ate and filled their stomach. Grey even burped so loud and went beside Yan Yan who was now sleepy. Lander on the other hand opened the book of magic and read it.
According to the book, there are two types of magic, the magic to cast and the magic to ingrave. The magic to cast was the magic used by the mages and the magic to ingrave was the magic used by people who use weapons. Magic to engrave means that the user of magic can put their magic on their weapons. An example of this was the sword user whom Lander fought.
Half of the book of Magic just gave an introduction to the magic world, its uses, and its importance. The other half talked about how to create magic and some basic spells that can be used.
